Tag: Mystique Note: Better layout coming soon! Peace WAS NEVER AN OPTION Erik watched as she transformed into the blond, light skinned woman. The mask she had put on for society so that they would accept her. It was truly a shame. She spoke of how this was the face she would see and well, he had assumed as such. Though it didn't make it any less unfortunate to hear.
"Disappointing," he said almost teasingly, though his words held truth. That night she had been in his bed, he recalled telling her that he preferred the real Raven, and her initial reaction had been to transform into this current form. It had hurt to see that it was who she believed was the real her. The one that everyone desired and longed to see. No. Not him. The real Raven was the most beautiful one. The one he had described as perfection and would stand by that accurate description of her. He felt an almost relief when she returned to her natural blue form, noticing her glance down to where his fingers were lightly on her shirt, lowering his hand with a hint of a smile upon hearing her words.
"No," he told her truthfully. Leader. He never thought to be a leader but if that was what it took for a faction to fight for mutant rights, he would gladly take whatever role required. "This is me taking genuine interest in you, Raven." Lying was not something Erik ever felt the need to do. He didn't intend to start now. "Your choice to join me in this cause, is never one I will take for granted." Because he knew it had not been an easy one. But she had confidently made it. Her views aligned with his and whether she was here just for the cause, or whatever other reason brought her to this side . . . he would never take her actions for granted.

Peace WAS NEVER AN OPTION Erik knew it was soon, but at the same time . . . his trips were not exactly planned. He went where the leads took him. He went, wherever would take him one step closer to Shaw. "Yes," he answered, returning the gaze. Previously, it had never been difficult to leave a place behind . . . not until now. He wanted to ask her to go with him, but also knew he couldn't. Not until she knew the whole truth. And even then, what right did he have to ask her to join him for this kind of madness? Because yes. He knew that was exactly what it was.
Yet, it had become his purpose. His reason for waking up in the morning. "I'm not sure," he answered honetsly. "My work has me travelling," he said, knowing he did not broach the subject of his work often. And in doing so now, opened the door to elaborate on it. It was time. So that she knew his reason for leaving and that it wasn't anything related to her. "At unexpected times," he continued, looking at her with soft intent. "And undesired times." His words revealing that he did indeed want to stay here, with her.

Peace WAS NEVER AN OPTION He quite liked that she agreed. And yet, it made this all the harder. Though they shared the thought of this being rather, unexpected. He'd always wondered if he would see her again, yet he had never expected things to go in this direction. The nomadic life he led hindered forming any close relationships -- though that not being the sole reason, it did certainly play a big part. "Neither do I," he told her quietly, sincerely. He wanted -- needed -- her to know that.
He also knew that he couldn't keep avoiding the subject. Tonight may be the last night they had together and unlike the others he had been with, he wasn't just going to walk away and never look back. "I have to leave for Italy tomorrow," he told her. "For work." It wasn't a lie. It merely lacked the details, but . . . tonight, he had to tell her. She had to know that the work he did, was something far bigger than just a simple job. For a simple job, was not enough to part him from her company.

Peace WAS NEVER AN OPTION Everything was still. Too still. The two of them trying to process what this meant. The last time they had made love, Erik did not even dare consider that what happened was a result of his powers returning. The lamp had been a bizarre occurrence. But still not something he'd considered he had done. Until now. It was the only logical explanation. And yet, he was terrified of being wrong.
What if this was the extent of his abilities? Yet, he had made everything in the room shake. The feeling was all too familiar. Only this time, it was not pain that had prompted it. It was, pleasure. The height of pleasure. Erik looked at his wife, his hand having been guided to her chest which held her heart beating so rapidly. She was just as confused as he was; just as afraid to accept his because . . . he knew their marriage may not last a second wind of disappointment in losing his powers. He needed to be certain. And, perhaps there was only one way to do that instead of letting this linger for the rest of the night, or another day or so.
He moved his arm around her and pulled her towards him onto his lap, looking at her intently. Granted, he would have done this either way . . . but there was an added, urgency. Fervency. He kissed her deeply, the taste of himself still upon her lips. He swiftly moved them so that she was on her back on the couch, his body over hers as it was now his turn to pull down her pants and underwear, tossing it to the side. He felt as if he had a renewed passion, a renewed hope as he hungrily kissed her, his hand already falling between them to guide his cock to her entrance. He just had to be sure.

Peace WAS NEVER AN OPTION He loved hearing the melodic sound of her laughter. It was so light, so . . . innocent. She told him she fit him and . . . he agreed. She did. They both fit each other and despite whatever relations he'd had with women in the past, none were like this. None so, committed. None so effortless to just be oneself. Magda was special, and he wasn't ready to let her go. But, he also would not lie to her. Especially not her. She knew about his powers the first night they met; she was the first person he had admitted it to.
A chance to tell someone of his own choosing, which . . . had seldom happened. If ever. The manifestation of his powers had been through pain and anger, but with her, he was able to just tell her. And he knew that he would have to do the same when it came to what he was doing. He had purposely avoided the topic of his work, and Magda knew him well enough to not press. But tonight, he needed to be completely honest with her. Smiling as she gaze up at him, he titled his head down a bit to meet her lips, kissing her lightly before drawing back. "These past few days have been incredible," he told her honestly, wanting her to know that.

Peace WAS NEVER AN OPTION Erik's head pressed back against the head of the couch when she took him into her mouth. His hands fell limply to his sides as the sensation of her touch consumed him. Her skilled mouth pleasured him and all he could do was selfishly sit here, and bask in it. His hand slowly and carefully went to the back of her head, just barley touching her. Opening his eyes he looked down at her, his breath hitching as a groan of pleasure escaped him; her own sounds causing a vibration that only added to the building desire.
"Magda," he breathed, squeezing his eyes shut for a moment, lips parted from the intensity of what she was making him feel. They had only made love a few days ago after 3 years and he felt everything was more sensitive; everything was building more quickly than ever before. The only thing that prompted him to open his eyes, was a noise. It was not the sound of her lips sucking him nor of his heavy breathing. It was an unfamiliar sound and when he turned his head to the side, he saw what it was.
The sewing table was shaking. The metal bottoms were rattling and this . . . was all too familiar. Erik couldn't help but stare at it, swallowing hard as he became conflicted on what to focus on. One thing was clearly defeating the other, but he could not stop looking at the table. His fingers tangled in her hair as he jerked his hips, knowing he was close. He glanced down at her, and back at the table, only then noticing that the picture frames they had around the room were also starting to shake, along with other items that ironically . . . contained one common material.
His eyes narrowed onto them, as he felt his cock swell, staring, fixed on what was happening around them while his senses were also consumed with what she was making him feel. Watching through heavy lids, he couldn't stop what was happening. Not with his body, nor around the room. He groaned again, strained breaths growing faster and faster and . . . he let out a final breathy sound of pleasure when he came but in that exact moment, the coffee table slid towards them. Towards her. When he stared at it, instinctively holding out his hand . . . it stopped. Just like that, it abruptly halted. An object that seemed to have a mind of its own. And all Erik could do was freeze, letting the wave of euphoria wash over him while his mind trying to pull back into rationalizing what had just happened.

Peace WAS NEVER AN OPTION Erik felt the immediate deprivation of her lips as she got up and went to lock the door. He tried not to dwell on the fact that he should be able to do that. That he would have been able to do that with a single motion. That she would not have had to get up and do it herself, and they could continue to enjoy each other without the necessary interruption. But, he refused to let it ruin the moment. His eyes remained on his wife as she lifted her shirt, pulling it off and allowing his gaze to linger over her perfect form.
He sat up a bit more, in preparation for . . . whatever she had planned. Because clearly, she did have something planned. He closed his eyes when she kissed him, raising his arms to facilitate the removal of his own shirt as it was set to the side. Immediately kissing her again, he deepened the embrace, though her lips began to move along his skin, lightly scraping over it as he felt the warmth of her tongue soothe over his chest. He closed his eyes, chest heaving with desire. He opened his eyes once more, looking at her through heavy lids as she hastily undid his pants and pulled them down, prompting him to slightly raise himself so that the action could be completed.
She told him that he could take her to bed in a minute, and with the door locked now, he wasn't sure he could wait that long. When desire consumed him, he longed to take advantage of the moment, afraid of how fleeting it could be . . . based on past attempts. Though right now, he was in no shortage of need. The ache coursing through him and taking on a very, physical sign of his desire for her. "Only a minute?" He asked as an almost tease, implying that he was fine with doing whatever they could here. All he knew was that he needed her and he wasn't about to risk prolonging it due to space constraints. The couch was a perfectly suitable place for them. Right now, he felt as if anywhere would be.

Peace WAS NEVER AN OPTION Magneto looked at the young girl who opened the door, and right away . . . he knew. His eyes locked onto her and all he could do in this moment was stare. It was his daughter. Lorna, apparently. She was, beautiful. Her green hair had him inwardly smiling; a sign of her mutation that made his heart swell with pride. She was truly, beautiful. But as he looked at her more, he started to take in the other parts of her. The worn condition of her clothing. The . . . bruise on her neck. The soft smile he hadn't even known was on his lips faded, and just in time for a man to come and pull the child back, looking at Erik. Daring to speak to Magneto. He supposed it was safe to say that it took a great deal to make him angry.
Certain things more triggering than others. To see a child harmed because of . . . whatever the reason may be, though every possible reason would be rejected for there was no excuse, was all too familiar. Erik felt it safe to say that it was due to her mutation. It always was. But, it hit far too close to home, as he too had been tortured as a young boy. And in this particular instance, it was far worse because . . . it was his daughter. As if unnervingly composed, the calm before the storm, Magneto looked at the man, completely stoic. "Kids," he said in agreement with a huff of breath. Then, in one sudden motion, he raised his hand, causing the man to fly back into the house and hit the wall.
Magneto casually stepped inside the house, the door closing and locking behind him. Fortunately, the pathetic excuse for a human had a belt on. Erik then crouched down in front of the girl, a slight softness on his face. "You're going to be ok," he told her, reassuringly. When he heard footsteps hurriedly approaching, he stood up to face who was there. Her. She looked shocked and . . . fearful. Good. She had every reason to be. Magneto raised his hand, using the bracelet around her wrist, the ring on her finger, and the necklace around her neck to have full control. Raising out his other hand to pull the phone chord out of the wall as the man dialed, Erik used it instead to wrap around the man's wrists, restraining him, and pulling off the woman's bracelet to do the same. Jerking his head a little, he had both of them fly over to the couch, where he forced them to sit next to each other.
Hands restrained, and Erik used the rest of the phone wire to restrain their feet too. He would not kill them in front of Lorna, but it took some restraint to not cause more harm. He casually took off his hand, placing it on the table in the middle of the living room as he made his way to the chair across from them, only the table between the three people. Nonchalantly sitting in it, his tone matched his demeanour. "We need to have a little chat." He was looking at the woman. A woman he had known. A woman he had relations with. And . . . the woman who had given birth to his child.

Peace WAS NEVER AN OPTION She sounded so much like him. Like Charles. This was perhaps the first time Erik feared losing his daughter. Not in the physical sense, but in the way that their differing views on humanity and achieving equality for mutants may cause a rift between them. It was a fear he held. For he knew it was not naivety that caused her to say this, but rather, innocence. Because it was how they raised her. They had protected her from others hatred; kept her from being exposed. But time and time again, seemed to prove that no matter what, they were endangered. And unless one went through the actual terrors of oppression . . . they may never understand.
"Your mother and I protected you from the world, Nina," he began to say. "So I understand and admire your want to see the good in people." It was how they raised her; it was how Magda was as well. But Magda had lived the horrors of persecution. She knew what direction the world was heading in, yet again. "But the truth that we tried so hard to protect you from, is far darker than that." Her being kidnapped was a prime example. "Humans fear us, and what we can do. They strike first, and we must strike back. Otherwise, our kind will die. So many have and no matter how many humans you want to see the good in, there are very few that will stand up for us. So if we do not, then no one will." The future was filled with genocide. They may have altered it, but Magneto doubted it would be the last of its kind. "Inaction is acceptance." Because if they weren't acting, then they were accepting what the humans were doing to them. "And we can not accept what is happening to our people." Mutants all over the world, suffering. This time, it had hit far too close to home with them taking his daughter. And he knew, there was no going back now to the life of the Gurzsky's.
