She knew it was ironic that her hair and powers were green and the emotion she had the most trouble with was jealously. Maybe she was fated to be this bitch who was going to spend her life alone because she drove everyone else away! But her implusitvness was something she'd always struggled with. She'd tried to curb it but there were times that it was harder then others. Like now!
She wanted to be by her father's side. She wanted him to love her! She wanted him to be proud of her and favor her! BUT WHO DID HE TAKE? SELENE! HE TOOK HER! Magneto was going to the mainland to talk to government people about mutant right and he took HER and not Polaris! NOT even them both! JUST HER! Lorna picked up something in her room and threw it at the wall before throwing her body on the bed. Lorna had a lot of mental health troubles, and many of them stemmed from her childhood. Neglected and abused, she wasn't the most stable person. She had tried to read self help books, and WANTED to get better. Training with Magneto had helped a lot, but there were still times when she felt like a mess.
Picking up her phone she sent a text, Hope you had fun. Then dropped her phone on the bed. Then picked it up and threw it across the room! He would know she wasn't meaning it honestly. As soon as she sent it she hated herself. Kicking the bed with her feet she used her powers to bring the phone back but it wouldn't let her delete it. Growling in anger she threw it again, this time it ht the wall. The screen cracked. "@&%$!!!!"

Peace WAS NEVER AN OPTION Call it paternal instinct, but the second his phone went off . . . he knew it was her. He knew it was Lorna. He also knew that she was incredibly upset that he had not brought her, but he did not regret the choice despite the upset it had caused his daughter. Lorna was undoubtedly an extremely powerful mutant, but what she had in powers, she lacked in . . . well, diplomacy. It was his hope that she would get there but it would take time, and training. Until then, he could not risk it where important conversations were to take place. Selene was the natural choice, and one of his most trusted confidantes.
But, he was well aware of the fury that is Lorna which would be awaiting him when he returned to Genosha. Which was also why he had made it a point to stop for Cheese its. Glancing at the message, he decided that it would be far worse if he didn't reply, than if he did. She knew how to get his attention and after being absent from her life for so long . . . that side of him wished he knew how to make it up. Though, the deep seated knowledge of knowing that he never truly could. It's not about fun, he began. But about what is needed. He paused for a moment, knowing that this was not something that would be resolved through texts. We can talk about it when I return. And that response would either temporarily diffuse the situation, or make it ten times worse.

Lorna's [hone went off and she sat on the floor with her back resting on the wall and glared at it. Not many people texted her first so she knew it was a reply. Without looking she could already imagine what it would say. She wasn't trained enough, or her temper wasn't battle ready. She wasn't enough. That was the bottle line. She wasn't enough.
The green plasma formed on her finger tips as her phone floated to her. It was about need. That was all she read before she squeeze her phone in her hand and used her powers to fling things around in her room. He didn't need her! He didn't need her by his side! She screamed and kicked her leg. It took her a few minutes to reply. She felt angry, and hurt, and like she was that weak useless kid back in her mother's house. She wanted to hurt him back, but knew words didn't hurt him. I get it. I don't need you either. she told him, before throwing her phone again. Her hands shook, and she looked down at them. She hated knowing he had this power over her. She hated anyone having it.
