Love me like you do, touch me like you doTrue! And it was easy to see why he might think that way, but Magda wasn't. Not yet! "No, not yet." She teased him, "but if you work at it tonight I could be." She knew that if they got pregnant by surprise that it would be wonderful, and Erik would love the baby but, she wanted to know this was what they both wanted.
Babies were hard, and she knew that his life wasn't as simple as her own. He was a mutant in a world that wasn't friendly toward them. Any child he had would be at risk too. While he knew that she would love them and care for them in everywhere a mother could--the rest of the world wouldn't. Which was why she was asking. "If that is something you want." Making this choice was something they needed to do together. Like all their choices. If he wanted to wait, she'd wait. A baby wasn't just about her.

Love me like you do, touch me like you doMagda raised her eyes brows as he said that Nina still had him wrapped around his finger. "I think she does," Magda agreed with a knowing tone, and while she pretended seriousness, she was holding back a smile. Nina was her Pap's little girl and was very wrapped around him as well. Magda loved their relationship--she loved how excited Erik got when he found out about Nina's powers, she loved how he looked when he held baby Nina, and she loved hearing him sing to their daughter in a Polish lullaby. She loved his man. She loved that girl!
"No, nothing happened." She nothing out of the ordinary. "We went to see the new baby of Filip and Amelia. Nina held her, and it reminded me of when Nina was that little." And made her want a baby again! Magda hugged up closer to her husband, letting her body rest flush against his. "It made me think of how you used to sooth Nina when was teething while singing her a song. Of how little she was." Her tone slowly shifted from a 'I remember when' to some that suggested she was building up to something, a question of sorts. "And, it made me want to ask you something."
Surely by now he could see where this might go, but Magda hoped he'd at least play along. "I know Nina was a surprise for us, and we've not talked about building our family more but . . . How do you feel about more children?" Soon?

All you need is a little faith and trustMagda liked his warm skin on her hands, and his words were so welcome that her skin heated under her cheek. She liked that he was forward but wasn't rushing this. They would sit and talk and let things happen naturally. It was pleasant.
She hadn't even read his cards yet, having started with her palm but she wasn't about to let him go to read for the cool desk just yet. Instead she answered his question in Polish, staying to their native language. "Well, after Poland--" she didn't pause after saying these words, but she knew they both understood what 'after Poland' meant. After the camps. After the war. "--I decided that I wanted to see the world. I was alone, but I met people everywhere I went. I ended up following my stomick here, as I tried to find the best foods I could." That was the short, non-emotionally story of how she ended up here. "And you, Erik?" She asked, "Tell me about you."

Clouds will race in, Rains will pour downMagda was smiling, even as she playfully moaned in 'disappointment' at the fact they had to wait to learn so much about their baby. In truth she knew they had to wait but loved teasing him, and when he had laughed at her little joke it made her feel good. She liked that she could catch him off guard and make him react in such a pleasant way,
He told her that he loved her unconditionally, and Magda looked up at him and smiled. She remembered when she had once told him she didn't want the fact that she was human to come between them. Hearing him admit that he still loved her like this always warmed her from the inside out. As he cooked she reached over to steal a few strawberries and snack. Magda even held on up to his lips. Feeding him was another mission of her's.
Magda smiled as he ate the strawberry, and she knew they needed to talk about one other thing. She could wait, but waiting wasn't like her. She rather get it in the open, and not let it linger between them. She hadn't been able to take her husband's name, and she knew--without asking she knew--that this baby wouldn't get his name either. It was something important to her, and the only regret she had between them--that she couldn't tell everyone she married this amazing man. "I wish the baby could have your name." She said softly, knowing he knew it was something she wished for herself.

All you need is a little faith and trustHe began by reminding her that she had just said he was faithful. Yes, but she liked that he had admitted to no one else holding his attention. "If you ever, test your readings." Magda laughed softly, in an light manner as she could almost feel his next words. "To see how much truth they hold." Passion. Stamnia. He was a stranger, and she'd never done this before. Did she dare? "Unless there is someone in your life who prevents you from doing so." Ah yes, she needed to answer her own question too.
Turning their hands over his his were on top, and her palms where up she gently took his finger to trace her lines. "There is no one." She admitted, "This line, like yours, says that I too am loyal." Which she always found odd, since she had left her people and gone out into the world. Yet she assumed it was meant that she was loyal to herself, and maybe one day a family? "I have not tested it. I don't normally let readings get so . . . " Her fingers moved over his hands as she tried to think of the word to describe this in Polish or English. "personal." Flirty, fun, interest in a physically way. "Yet is does make one wonder how accurate they are," she teased, letting him know she was open to things. She wasn't even sure what he was asking, but she wasn't afraid to find out.

Clouds will race in, Rains will pour downFive to 12 years! He then spoke of some mutants having colored skin and tails! While he spoke of it causally, Magda's slip parted in surprise. "My baby might have a tail?!" She asked, and then sighed, "That would take some creativity with diapers!" She was laughing, but she also knew the risks that if their baby did look different then they would have to protect them even more. Yet she knew that she would love them no less. Perhaps she might even love them even more.
Magda leaned more into him and pretended to pout. "I don't want to wait five years or more. I want to know now!" She teased, not afraid that her baby might be a mutant. For her she knew that it was as Erik said, the next step for humans. If Their baby was human or mutant, they would love and protect him or her just the same. "I know you'd love a boy and girl no matter what--but if you had to pick. Which would you want? A son or daughter?" Magda knew she would wish for a daughter, but a son would be simply wonderful too! A daughter however, she felt she could make clothes for easier, and do her hair. Even if they had a tail!

Love me like you do, touch me like you doHe asked about Nina and Magda smiled, knowing he was a god father and always asked about his daughter. He loved her so much. Nina had to be the best thing to very happen to Erik. Family meant so much to them both. "Out side with her friends," Magda told her, knowing that Nina's powers were special and (she assumed) rare. Her daughter was using them for good things, and to bring happiness and Magda loved it!
"She is growing very independent." Which was one reason Magda felt it was time for another baby! "Do you remember when she was so small? She wanted you to carry her everywhere!" Magda smiled at the memory. "She had you wrapped around her little fingers. I thought you'd spoil her endlessly." Magda was teasing him, but there was some truth too it. Erik loved his daughter, and if she wanted to be held, he always held her. Nina loved him singing to her at night, so Erik sang too her. These weren't bad things. It was what made him a good father.

All you need is a little faith and trustHis words were welcome, and Magda wet her lips as she thought about the double meaning. OH! It had been years since she'd had this much fund talking to anyone! She didn't think she'd ever felt this sort of instant attraction, but the fun just talking with him right now made the attraction grow. She didn't want this end too soon. She wanted this conversation to last. Magda hoped no other customers came in for she wasn't about to stop to make more tea right now.
Her fingers moved from the heart line to the next line on his palm. "And is there someone in your life?" Was there a Mrs Erik? or a girl friend he had? Magda knew if there was she would back off quickly. Looking down at the line she smiled as she returned her gaze to his face, and her fingers traced the line. This time the line led her to his wrist, and he brushed over it as she kept talking. "If this line is faint, or blurred then it means lack of health and stamina. You're is neither. It means you are in good health, and . . . have a strong stamina." Which could mean anything from ability to work tasks, or stubbornness--but again she let the double meaning hang.

Clouds will race in, Rains will pour down"Yes, they will be loved and see use in love!" Magda took his hand and let him help her up. She pulled on one of his shirts so she was better covered to walk around the kitchen, but didn't bother with adding pants. Laughing softly at his 'you two' she pretended to think. "Strawberries!" She said, knowing it was something they already had. "And pancakes!" Linking their fingers she walked with him toward the kitchen, and then let him go while she pulled out some orange juice. Pausing she looked back in. "And chocolate, and about a million things." She added.
Magda knew about how Erik found out about his powers. She knew it because she had been there--not there while it happened, but in the camp. After he'd killed the guards the others didn't want to go near him. So they'd "made" her do it. However she also knew that his happened while in extreme fear. While he begin cooking she asked more, "How old are most children when they find out about their powers?" Magda knew how they worked a little, but as a mother she needed some details on what to expect. Stepping closer to him she tucked her body against his while he worked--not that he needed both hands as more and more her kitchen wear (among other things in their house) were metal. "Am I going to have to hide the metal from the baby?" She teased.

Love me like you do, touch me like you doMagda laughed as he turned to tease her, and then kiss her! Life was the wonderful in these moments! She knew he was happy, and there wasn't much more that she could wish for!
Except for a baby!
It was on the tip of her tongue to ask now, and hint that a baby would help him hear her but she wanted to make sure he was ready too. So instead she lingered over the kiss, before asking, "Did you have a good day?" He had made friends, just as she had, and Magda liked that he was letting his guard down and living life! She knew his mission protecting mutants was important, but she wanted him to have more then that! Friends, family . . . with children. At least two of them!

[q All you need is a little faith and trustHe leaned forward, and Magda found herself doing it as well, leaning closer as her words grew a little slower. Without thinking she was making herself open--mentally--to his advances. "This one," She began, tracing another line on his palm, this time slower as her fingers lingered over his skin openly. "Is your heart line."
"It's curved here, which tells me you are a generous, and sensual nature." She smiled slyly and looked up at him. "It's unbroken, so you are faithful to your friends and lovers. It's a think line, which hints to a passionate nature. . . . are you a man of passion, Erik?" She asked, being more forward in her flirting now, and a little inviting him to continue. While the line meant more about their personality then about his bed room action, Magda left the double words linger between them. Her fingers traced the line while she spoke, drawing over it one way and then the other. Teasing him palm while she spoke in Polish to him.

Love me like you do, touch me like you doMotherhood was wonderful! Magda and Nina had spent the afternoon at a play date with a neighbor, and their new baby. Magda missed Nina's baby stage, and found herself longing for a baby to be around once again. She missed hearing the baby laugh, and the feeling of being in awe f every breath they took--not that she wasn't in Awe of Nina, but she wanted a baby.
How how to convince her husband?
Magda heard Erik's truck and smiled as she finished folding Nina's clothes. Putting them in the drawer, and walked out to the main room and paused. Tip toeing out she walked softly up behind Erik. Magda was a playful person by nature, and Erik never seemed to find when she teased him or played a little. In fact he seemed to enjoy it. He had always been such a serious man, that she often took it upon herself to help him live life differently. Happier.
Getting just a few steps behind him Magda jumped toward him, wrapping her arms around his shoulders as she laughed. Erik worked so hard, and she knew he didn't have to work that hard. His magik could do that with ease. He did it for his family--which she hoped was about to grow!

All you need is a little faith and trustHe asked about her culture, and Magda smiled. "What gave me away?" She teased, knowing that the place had a strong air about it. She never hide her culture, even though she'd traveled and picked up so much other things. "It's been a long time since I was back in Poland and with the people." Not many happy memories there, and she wasn't about to ask him about his own, so she skipped the reason she left. "But whenever I go, I bring a little of it with me."
Magda put the cards on the table between them and them pushed the desk toward him. "Mix them, and split the desk where you please." She got up while he did, and poured the hot water into the cups. She put the tea leaves in a squeezer and let them soak int he water. Carrying the cups to the table she put one before him and one at her seat. As he sat the deck back on the table she reached for his hand, and put her's over his. She kept her eyes on his as she turned his hand over, and then looked at his palm. "Your right hand shows what will be, and your left hand shows what could be." She reached her hand out and waited for him to put his other hand in her's.
Holding his hands, she felt a little warmth touch her cheeks in the slightest blush. They were strong hands, and warm. She liked touching them. She pretended to think for a moment, letting her touch linger on his. "Your life line is very long. So you will live a long time." Looking up at him she smiled, before looking down at his hand, her smile soften. "You've lost a great deal." She couldn't see above his wrist because of his jacket, but knowing he was from Poland, and that he'd lost people--she could guess what would be there. Numbers. Like the ones she had on her arm under her own shelve. "This line here," She pointed to the line of loss, and how it touched his fate line. "You can't let the loss go. It echos through your whole life." Then again, didn't it do that with everyone who had been int he camps? How did one escape that?

Baby mine, don't you cry,He told her it was alright, and that he had come with a lot to say. There was something about his told that made her hesitate. Then his next words hit her like a brick. The baby. Magda closed her eyes and took a step back, this time it was the need to protect herself. Not from him, but from the memories and the words themselves. Had he come here because he was upset with her? Why bring it up now? She'd lost her baby girl, and there wasn't anything she could have done.
Taking another step back, Magda folded her arms over her body and forced her eyes to open to look at him. She felt . . . a little angry that he would come now and . . . what?
"Had," Magda spoke in a quite tone, repeating the word he used. Past tense. "For a few hours, yes. I had a daughter." They had. a tear fell over her cheek and Magda wiped it away. How had he found out? Why had he come? She didn't want this memory tonight! She had been happy and now she knew she would be thinking of Nina for days. It had been the hardest loss Magda had to face. More then her mother and father. With them it had been overwhelming, but with Nina she had loved her and promised to protect her and she died. For no reason at all. The doctor had said it happened sometimes.

There can be miraclesIt had been one of the things she had not wanted tot ell him since she knew how much it hurt her, and how much it would hurt him. The baby had not been as lucky as Nina. She'd woke up tot he loss, and he was going to experience it twice. Magda felt his fingers under her shirt and him pause. She knew--she knew what he was thinking even before he put his forehead on his.
Tears filled her eyes and she closed them to fight the emotion. The need to be with him moved to a need to be held by him. Her shoulders shook slightly from the sadness, as she began to cry. She didn't need to say anything with words, they had been together long enough that words weren't always needed. He knew, and she knew. Her hands moved to hold him as she cried, and she finally after so long of healing without him--got to be held by the man she loved while she dealt with the loss of her baby.
"Our baby," she whispered, trying to deal with the loss. They'd not even gotten to tell anyone yet. It had been so new. The doctor said that might be a blessing, and make it easier--but for people like them who valued family before anything--it didn't.

'Cause with the all that has happenedIt had been a long time since anyone had helped Magda do anything, and feeling Erik's hands on her as he helped her inside . . . .
She felt them rise up without the blades turning, and then move forward. She knew that he was stronger then he had used to be, but seeing it and knowing felt different. He had a smooth control, and before--when they'd met--he had just been learning.
Magda hugged Nina to her as she sat int he back and held on. Nina's face buried into her mother's side. Once the blades were on, Erik looked back at them and asked if they were ok. Magda nodded, "Yes," she admitted, "Thank you!" She knew he'd had done without the thank you, but she wasn't the type to not say it. "They'd been getting closer for weeks." Today had been the closest, but today Erik had been there. It wasn't lost on Magda that he's gotten them away without violence. She was grateful for that.
Magda knew that Erik and Nina needed to meet formally, but she was giving Nina a moment to calm down. To have her first words with her father peaceful ones. Looking down at Nina, Magda pulled her to face herself, "You're safe, Chav, You're safe." The words were Polish, and Nina nodded, hugging her mother. Magda held her tightly as she looked at Erik. After a long hug, Magda pulled Nina back and spoke in English though a bit slower so she could keep up. "Nina, there is someone I want you to meet." They both turned to look at Erik.

Clouds will race in, Rains will pour downHe admitted he was pleased with himself and Magda laughed a very happy laugh that took up her whole face. She was so glad that she'd just kept him in bed and told him this way. It made this moment so special! "Good, because I want this baby to have a happy life," She told him, knowing that it would be easy with them. Yet she did worry about the politics, but not enough to ruin this moment. Soon enough they'd have to talk about how this would work but for now . . .
"I fear your baby is growing hungry." She teased, and smiled at him. "Will you join us?" She'd make something to eat, and they could bask in this feeling for a while longer. Magda would never out grow her need for food! Taking his hand she rested it on her belly while letting him answer. She couldn't wait to swell big with the baby, and to hold the baby.
In fact the only thing she didn't like was the knowledge that she had not been able to take her husband's name, and the baby wouldn't be able too either. It was the only part of this she had ever disliked. Yet it wasn't enough to stop her from enjoying this.

'Cause with the all that has happenedHe nodded in understanding, and Magda's heart grew a little. Erik always seemed to understand more then what she said. She was greatful for it, and wanted him to know that she not only supported his cause, but had no intention of holding him back. Someone had to speak for the ones who were hunted, someone had to speak for the ones who couldn't. No one had spoke up for her family. No one had spoke up for his. Never again. "I have never felt anything but loved by you." He had always made her feel loved, even when he was hunting down Shaw. Yet she knew that choosing to love her, didn't make things easier for him all the time. "I want you to know I will not hold you back, or ask you to stop. That I believe in your cause as much as you." Because she'd seen the affects before. "You're an amazing man, Erik Lehnsherr," She smiled, letting the conversation lighten now that she'd made sure he understood that she was here for him. That she wouldn't ask him to choose sides, or slow down. When he hunted Shaw in vengeance she had feared for his life going down a dark road--now he was fighting and injustice and wasn't alone. The world needed him. She was just glad she got this part of him!

Baby mine, don't you cry,Magda was walking toward the door, the soft song still humming in her lips as it opened. For a moment she was confused because no one had been there but then . . . he walked in. Magda stepped back, more to unconsciously allow him to enter then from fear. The soft contented expression falling into one of surprise. "Erik," She whispered his name, as she tried to take in the fact that out of all the people in all the world-- Erik Lehnsherr had just walked into her little shop. Her lips tilted for a half second in an almost smile before the surprise took back over. Erik was standing before her! Magda's eyes took him in, noticing that he looked good--healthy at least. Yet there was something about his face that sparked worry. Pushing the feeling aside, she tried to find words that he was here. Everything else was long since forgotten, as the only thing she could think of right now was the man that was here. The one that she had once loved--and if her heart beating like it was was any sign--she loved him still. "Hello," she finally managed to get out the soft word. Blinking she smiled softly, but not a full smile. The shock was still the greater emotion. "It seems that once again, everything I thought I'd say to you has left my mind." She said, her voice becoming less soft, and more welcoming as she slowly recovered from the surprise of seeing him. Her words a reference to the time they had met at the wall, and she'd not been able to think of anything to say.
