Storms will rage in, but you
Magda had drank some, enjoying in the air of joy and laughter around her. She was a human on an island of mutants, but for the most part was accepted and respected. She loved helping build this place, and seeing all the wonderful things the mutants could do. Often times Magda was clapping or cheering for the ones who needed it the most. She helped make sure each mutant who came to the island had what they needed to begin a life here. Often they would assume she was mutant, and be surprised to find that Erik--Magneto--had married her. Often they came to see why. She loved it here. It was safe, and wonderful here. Erik did that. She loved him all the more for it.
Which was why when she noticed he was overly enjoying the drink, she asked him to take a walk with her. Letting him get some air, and a little silence on the wild and loud night. "You're words are lost in the drink," she teased him in Polish, a language they often used when it was just them. Erik looked down at her, and didn't look away. At first she smiled, but the longer he did it she felt a little blush rising up. Laughing she looked away to make sure they didn't walk into anything.
He asked if she remembered their first kiss. Magda pretended a shocked look, her lips parting in mock surprise as she looked back up at him. "How dare you assume I could forget such as wonderful kiss." She teased, laughing as she said it. Which ruined the effect she was going for, but she knew he didn't think she had actually forgot it. "I remember it well."
you will be safe in my arms.

We can see magic everywhere
Erik called her beautiful, which made her smile even more before his lips touched hers. He kissed her, and she knew that something was changed. She didn't know what, or even if this meant he had finally done it. Erik's kiss seemed more . . . . more something. She couldn't quite figure it out. He didn't seem to be coming from a darkness, but more of a light. She was glad. For whatever this meant. She knew he often fought the darkness, so if something brought a lightness to him--she'd welcome it.
"Better now," she teased, smiling up at his face, trying to read his mood and beyond it. "Everyone seemed pleased with their readings." Her fingers reached up to trail over his face, feeling his skin under her touch. "I missed you." Every time he left she missed him, but she never doubted he would come back to her. Even though she feared he'd loose his life. "You seem . . . happy?" While it was a question, she asked it more to prompt him then to 'wonder why' he was happy.

Everything's gonna be all rightMagda kept her face tilted into his and places light kisses over his skin as he slowly seemed to wake and pull her deeper into his embrace. She didn't look up to see if things still moved or if he sat them down. She didn't look up to see if his eyes were opened or if they were still closed. She kept her face near her, letting her skin touch his. Her nose trail his skin as she held him to her.
Her voice was soft, as he grew still. Without looking at his face she knew he was hearing her, in his heart if not in his dreams. Her fingers kept brushing his hair back from his face, slowly and softly. While the gesture was motherly in a way, the rest of her pressing into him was not. "You're alright, my love." She whispered in Polish, before she began a soft reassuring and soothing hum. She didn't so much sing, as she did whisper in melodic words, an old Polish song of comfort.
Rockabye, rockabye, rockabye, bye, bye

'Cause with the all that has happened
Magda was drunk. Not a little drunk, but very, very drunk. She'd enjoyed over drinking very rarely in her life, but they'd always been on occasions of joy. never one so hurtful. Never on the memory of her lost daughter. It didn't help that on the night she was remembering her daughter, that others were celebrating theirs. No one remembered her daughter. No one but her and Erik.
Erik helped her up, and she stumbled slightly, forced to cling on to him while they walked. Magda felt the ground move under her feet, or maybe her feet didn't know how to find the ground anymore. Looking up at Erik she smiled for the first time tonight. "I see two of you." She whispered to him. "My night just got better." At the moment her mind couldn't seem to realize that there was no two Eriks, but one. That she could no longer focus and see straight.

We can see magic everywhere
Magda and Erik had been together for so many years now that somethings were known without speaking. Magda, for example, knew that Erik could be gone for days in his hunt. She knew that while he loved her, he didn't wish her near the places he had to go in order to hunt the devil. While, yes, it was hard to watch him drive himself such; she also understood that this was something he needed to do. The man had killed his mother, and many many others. The man had tormented and abused a child--Erik.
She only hoped that it would bring Erik peace--though she didn't know for sure if it would. Either way, Magda was here. She was used to being on her on from before they found each other. It didn't bother her to be on her own, though she missed his company greatly. Today she had worked at a local market, telling fortunes to people for money. She knew how to read the cards, but she also knew that they weren't always to correct. You had to sell it. Make them believe. It something she'd learned from her mother, and her mother's mother before they were killed. She loved doing it. After packing her deck, she bundled the table cloth and began to walk back to the hotel that Erik had paid for. She paused in her walking when she noticed him walking toward her. A smile formed on her lips as he approached, and her eyes looked over him. Looking for any sign that he was hurt. "Dobry wieczór, Przystojniaku," she greeted him in Polish, telling him good evening and calling him handsome.

'Cause with the all that has happened
Magda didn't like the lead that settled in her belly. She didn't enjoy the feeling that whatever her husband wanted to speak with her about that it wasn't going to be good. He seemed too serious. Though there was no urgency to her mannerisms so she knew they were not in immediate danger.
Walking over to the couch, Magda sat slowly on it; her legs tilted to her husband so her body could face him. Reaching her hand out she sought out his to help give him the support for whatever he needed to tell her. Magda knew that as long they were together, the family of three together, then they would survive anything. "Erik?" She whispered his name, making sure he knew that she was here with her--in support. Be it from the Americans, or the Polish, or the humans, or mutants. They would face it together.

God help the outcasts"I don't know. I am very fond of those memories." She smiled before, she sat her tea to the side and ran both hands through her hair while exhaling in a sigh. "I don't think I really understood everything because then. Not like I do now." She gestured around her meaning, she had not thought about how the world would change and this would still be happening. She had understood his drive, but she hadn't been able to watch him slowly kill himself for it. Now she understood his purpose and need to do what he did. The world needed someone to speak up.
The world needed him.
And yet . . . "It must not be easy to have so many look to you." She told him, knowing that it meant he couldn't make a wrong choice without it costing him something--sometimes it was people's opinions of him, sometimes it was lives. Many called him a terrorist, and fanatic--but she was hiding mutants who ran in fear. The world reminded her of her childhood and if no one spoke up the camps would come again. "I'm proud of you Erik. I've missed you, but I think you've become who the world needed. I'm not sure you could have done that if things between us hadn't ended." She would have held him back? Maybe. "I think you're mother would be too." A woman she hadn't known, but had come to know though her son.

The lost and forgotten, they look to you still. They would be dead too. Like his mother. Like she knew she would be eventually. Even Erik wouldn't cross the demon that was taking over the world. No. not Erik. Magneto. They took names and costumes like children on hollow's eve. She would have understood the need seek out their own identity in a world that outcasted them, but she felt they used them now to hide from their own humanity.
Humans took her. "She was human, Erik." Magda said, still refusing to look his way. "Humans killing humans. Humans killing mutants, mutants killing humans. Mutants killing mutants. It will never end." A tear feel over her cheek but she refused to wipe it away. Taking a deep breath, she continued with her voice soft and sad, but unwavering. "I spent my childhood in a place like this for being what I am. I always knew it could happen again if no one spoke up for the weak. I sore to myself that I would never stay silent and not speak out from it happening again."
Finally she looked at him, "Have you come to do it then? Have you come to do 'his' bidding?" Pushing to a stand and walked closer, with her chin in the air. Had it been anyone but him she would not have dared but he was breaking her heart and she wanted him to know it. She didn't hide her tears, or pain, but she didn't let her voice or eyes waver. "Shaw would have been proud of the man you are today. It was everything he wanted you to be." She knew that would hurt. She knew it would hurt him but maybe hearing it before she died would seep into the man he once was. Maybe having that thought in his head would fester and one day he would see who he had become--before it was too late. "Your mother would ashamed." If he hadn't planned to kill her before, her words might seal her fate. She knew him well enough to know they were aimed at his heart. She just didn't know if they would find it.
God help the outcasts, or nobody will.

'Cause with the all that has happened
He stood up, and Magda knew enough to understand he was trying to be strong. While it wasn't the same way Erik had done in their youth, she had seen men struggling with the aftermath of the worst that could be done to a living creature--human or mutant. It was one reason she so easily understood everything Erik stood for, and needed to do. She knew all too well what happened if no one stood up. No one stood up for them. Erik would stand for them now.
So she didn't take offense when John pulled away. Pushing up to stand, a little slower then he did from both her age and her heart being heavy for him. "That is fair." She admitted, not going to deny that his mother hadn't been a mother to him at all--at least she assumed now. She didn't know John's story. Not well. But she had come to think of many of the youth here as precious to her. Even if they didn't let her close.
"But I know still, that there was some years before she sent you away that she was a good mother to you. It's ok to hurt for the loss of someone, even if you are no longer close to them. It's not easy to have the memories and know that someone you once loved, or maybe loved still, is gone." Magda had always been able to say things close to her heart with ease, unlike many here. The hurt and the abused. She hoped hearing something like that, let him know it was ok to feel.
I think that we both know the way that the story ends

Cause I can't help falling in love
Magik! Itally was so full of Magik and wonder that Magda didn't know were to start when it came to describing the wonders she had seen! So much of the world she'd only wondered about, and now she was finally seeing and tasting it! The food was wonderful, the colors warm and bright, the smells were so drifferent, and it was so warm here! The comforting cold of Poland replaced with a healing warmth that filled the place!
When on a night like this, when the stars were everywhere in the sky and the soft music played filling the streets, you knew that it was perfect! Life was perfect! Erik had taken her to Italy to hunt down Shaw but the trail he was following had been a dead end. She knew it frustrated him but for the last day they had put it aside to explore. He would need to keep looking, but not now.
"Erik, my bracelet!" Magda said in slightly distress while looking back the way they had just walked. It didn't take Erik long to use his powers to bring the bracelet back to her. In the dark here there was no one to notice. The only lights were dim street lights and glows from shop windows. He wrapped it around her wrist and used his powers to fix the broken part. Looking up at Erik, Magda smiled brightly, glowing like the lamps behind her. "I wish this night never ended." She told him, before looking down at it. That was when she noticed it. The bracelet had something hanging from it. Looking closer she realized that it was an charm of one of the places they'd been together here!
A song placed on a radio in a shop near by, and a man with a deep yet soft voice sang about not being able to help falling in love. She understood it. Erik used his powers to move her wrist up and around his neck, before taking her other hand in his. With his arm around her they began to slowly dance there in the street. A slow turn as they rocked back and forward. Smiling so brought that it almost hurt, Magda looked up in his eyes. Stretching up on her toes, she let her lips find his for the first time. Because she couldn't help falling in love with him.
With you I apologize for controlling the mint chocolate chip out of your muse!

Starting right now I'll be strong
She loved this man. Magda could tell that he was reacting excatly like she was. Overwhelmed and trying to make sure it was true before really reacting. Something like this would be heavy between them. Not in a unwanted way, but in a welcome and exciting manner. So they both wanted to make sure it was true before they moved forward. Magda believed Selene.
"I didn't believe her at first. It was so . . . . She said she'd been thinking it a while. Watching to try to be sure." Magda didn't care that Selene was in her head. She had nothing to hide, and in this case Selene was doing her a favor. If she was a mutant then she was glad to know about it, thought still afraid for what this mean in terms of how this changed aspects of her life. She had always thought reading the cards was a way to connect to her mother and her culture. That she was good at it because she had this connection that the camps couldn't take from her.
"Selene says the way my thoughts are are different when I am seeing the future. That she's sure." Erik's hand was over her's and Magda turned her hand over to lace her fingers with her husbands. "She thinks I've had the power for most of my life and I've just let it be. That since I've never tried to use it, my powers never got stronger. That if I did they could grow." Sliding closer to him, she looked in his face. "And at that point, I ran to you. Because I knew . . . I just knew I needed you with me." Because even now the fear and shakeness that she had been feeling when she'd run to him was fading quickly, being replaced with a giddy and excited feeling. Unsure, yes. Slightly afraid, yes. But these were small emotions in his presence.
And I don't really care if nobody else believes

Starting right now I'll be strong
She knew this was coming out as a lot, but she was over whelmed and excited, and maybe shaken, and afraid. More of what this meant, not really of what would happen now. She knew what would happen now. She didn't have to come into this like so many with so much uncertain and fear. She didn't have to worry about of her husband would accept her, or try to hide it. She just had to figure out what this meant for her. Emotionally. Spiritually. As a person.
"Selene had gotten to them really fast. I commented on how fast she'd been able to get to Lorna to stop the out burst." Magda had meant it more as an impressed complement. "But Selene said . . . She said that the reason she'd known Lorna was about to set it off was that I knew." Which lead to the part that had sent her looking for her husband. "She said that she'd noticed it before. The way I . . . know things." Magda had always said she had good intuition. Everyone had said it. She just knew something things. Nothing major or very direct. Instinct. "She said that it wasn't my intuition that I am using."
Magda moved closer to her husband, and reached for his hand. She have a half smile before it faded under the weight of the chaos of emotions. "Erik, she thinks I am a mutant. That I am telling the future." Which was thrilled and terififed her for so many reasons!
And I don't really care if nobody else believes

Starting right now I'll be strong
Magda Pulled her face from his chest and nodded, but then shook her head. Yes, something had happened but not one was in danger. Taking a deep breath she reached for his hands and held them. "Everyone is alright." She began, wanting him to know no one was hurt. "But I need to tell you something." She was a little bit shaken, and it was clear there was a host of emotions in her eyes. While yes, there was a small amount of fear, it had begun to clear the moment he touched her. Erik would not let anything happen to her. She felt it. That safe feeling. They could deal with this together.
Not wanting to stand at the bottom of the steps to talk, Magda tugged him toward the couch and half sat on one side. Once he was sitting too she began her story. "I was having lunch with Lana and Luca, and during it I was reading their cards." Nothing unheard of, as Magda loved the craft. She was really good at reading people futures, and even if it wasn't real, most said there was always a hint of truth about it. "That was when I saw Lorna and Pyro. They were being . . . Lorna and Pyro." Which meant they had been trying to annoy each other and everyone around them. "Though there was something off this time. I knew she was about to get angry. Really angry. I knew in my heart that she would end up using her powers." Which was again, nothing new. Lorna wasn't the most stable. "And she did. But Selene was able to intervene, and Lana calmed her down."
"But . . .it's what happened afterwards." She began to tell him, but paused to make sure he was keeping up.
And I don't really care if nobody else believes

Starting right now I'll be strong
Magda and her small family had lived in many places over the years. Italy, Poland, America, and now Genosha. After she'd married her husband they had stayed in Italy for a while, a place she loved since the was one filled of beautiful memories from the first place Erik had taken her. When their daughter, Nina, had been a few years old her life had been put at risk. So they moved to Poland for a long while and built a life there.
Then Xavier came. Explained that there was a mutant who was trying to take over the world. For Erik's help in removing the threat, America pardoned him and gave him some land to build a mutant nation on. Genosha. Over the years they had made their home here and build a small city. One that grew every day as more mutants came seeking a place they could either be with others like them, safety, or understanding. It was beautiful, and Magda loved seeing farmers and builders and families starting to come here--not just the temperamental ones thinking this would become an army. That wasn't what Erik was building here.
Magda for her part, did many jobs on the island. Everything from organizing things needed, to helping injured, and just mothering the kids. She had been doing many of these when it happened. It led her into hurrying home as her heart beat faster. Getting to the door, which was metal as most things were on the island, she fumbled to pull it open. "Erik!" She called, pausing to see if she heard him before turning to hurry of the steps. "Erik!" When she got to the door of the baby's room she paused remembering to keep her voice down. Anya was three and Erik had been with her today. Not seeing him up stairs she turned to run back down the steps, and just as she got to the bottom--She crashed into his chest, and felt the instant safe feeling of his arms around him. "Erik," Magda breathed and stepped forward to rest her face against his chest. She was trying to catch her breath so she could talk.

Take My Hand, Take My Whole Life TooIn the early days of their sexual relationship, Magda had told him using his powers was cheating, but she had loved it even then. Now, when he used his powers to bottom her shiRt she found it heightened her anticipation. Secretly it was why she picked the type of clothes she sometimes worn. Not so secretly she knew he knew she liked it. When he had begun pretending to be human he had stopped using his powers for a while, but now he hid them from no one.
And she loved that he didn't hide.
Using his powers to undo the buttons felt his hands free to undress her, and his lips free to tease her skin. Madga smiled up at him and used her old words. "That's cheating," she teased him, before lowered her hands to let him pull off the shirt. Once her arms were free, they moved to pull at his buttons. "How is it you only get more handsome to longer I stay married to you?" She asked as she exposed his chest, before leaning forward to kiss him there.

Take My Hand, Take My Whole Life TooLaughing slightly, Magda enjoyed the teasing words. He didn't know if his day was good yet, did he? She would have to make sure he knew how to answer that better later. But that was alright, Magda loved this challenge. "Our day was alright," She told him, "Nina and I baked a little, then she worked on a puzzle while I answered some letters." Magda was also helping with Erik's efforts, and while she wasn't charismatic or knew the right words to say at the right moment, she knew how to help people. Sometimes that was all that mattered.
Magda gave a light kiss to his chest, and trailed the kisses up his collar bone to the exposed skin of his neck above his shirt. Speaking against his neck there she let her lips brush over his skin with each other, "Now, how does one help you're day get better?" She teased before tilting her face up to kiss his jaw bone.

God help the outcastsNo family. But he always wanted him. The honesty of that answer made her heart beat a little harder. She knew that hadn't been an easy thing to say for him. It was a conflicting emotion--to know he hadn't found love and a family after her. There was a heaviness to being but sad for him, and another feeling lurking just under it. "You know Erik, not matter how many years go by, You are still the closest thing to family. So maybe we do have a family, in a way." Not the one they were talking about, but a friendship and understand that was too deep to label as just friends.
"You will always be welcome here." Even if she had a husband, and even if he had a wife. Because the love they had had been one of passion and deep love, yes, but it was also one built on so much more. They had seen things that only the other had seen. Yes there were many people affected, but they had lived through it together, and there would always been that deep bond. Unbreakable in many ways.

Take My Hand, Take My Whole Life TooLead the way. Magda smiled against his lips and reached for his hand. She walked with him over the thick carpet and down the halls toward their room. Nina's room was not far from them, but enough that a guard was stationed between the doors. Magda smiled at them, grateful they worked to protect the important things in her life--her daughter and her husband.
Getting to their room, Magda let Erik open the door and Magda walked in. She walked quickly to the middle of the room before turning to wrap her arms around his neck. "It is a good thing that you are no fool," she teased his earlier words of him being a fool to not be by her side.
Before they begin thought, she always checked on him. "Did you have a good day?" She asked while pressing herself into him, and letting her hands drift over his shoulders and arms to caress his skin. She loved the heat that came from him, and the way his felt so strong under her touch.

Take My Hand, Take My Whole Life TooMagda smiled as she felt his kiss, and his touch. Walking around him she came to stand before him Magda grinned up at him. "I missed my husband," she told him, stretching up to kiss his lips before smiling at him with mischievously, "Have you seen him anywhere?" Erik and her had always had been this way, and even after 12 years they were still in love.
Her palms came down over his shirt as she pressed her hands into his chest. Yes, she missed him. She missed him in their bed. Erik was working on hard, and while it was very important work, she wanted him with her too. Her fingers begin picking at the buttons on his shiRt one at a time. Slowly unbuttoning them. "Come to bed," she asked him, making it clear that she wanted him in bed, and not just his company.
Madga had always supported Erik, but she also maded sure they both took time for each other and their daughter. Nina was was tucked in bed, and now it was her turn to have time with Daddy.
