Starting right now I'll be strong
Magda and her small family had lived in many places over the years. Italy, Poland, America, and now Genosha. After she'd married her husband they had stayed in Italy for a while, a place she loved since the was one filled of beautiful memories from the first place Erik had taken her. When their daughter, Nina, had been a few years old her life had been put at risk. So they moved to Poland for a long while and built a life there.
Then Xavier came. Explained that there was a mutant who was trying to take over the world. For Erik's help in removing the threat, America pardoned him and gave him some land to build a mutant nation on. Genosha. Over the years they had made their home here and build a small city. One that grew every day as more mutants came seeking a place they could either be with others like them, safety, or understanding. It was beautiful, and Magda loved seeing farmers and builders and families starting to come here--not just the temperamental ones thinking this would become an army. That wasn't what Erik was building here.
Magda for her part, did many jobs on the island. Everything from organizing things needed, to helping injured, and just mothering the kids. She had been doing many of these when it happened. It led her into hurrying home as her heart beat faster. Getting to the door, which was metal as most things were on the island, she fumbled to pull it open. "Erik!" She called, pausing to see if she heard him before turning to hurry of the steps. "Erik!" When she got to the door of the baby's room she paused remembering to keep her voice down. Anya was three and Erik had been with her today. Not seeing him up stairs she turned to run back down the steps, and just as she got to the bottom--She crashed into his chest, and felt the instant safe feeling of his arms around him. "Erik," Magda breathed and stepped forward to rest her face against his chest. She was trying to catch her breath so she could talk.
And I don't really care if nobody else believes

Peace WAS NEVER AN OPTION Life in Geonsha was fairly peaceful; more peaceful than Erik ever thought he would be capable of living. The island was truly turning into a home; a mutant nation. Strong. Isolated. And growing more with the population of those who wished to live in a mutant sanctuary, free of the threat of humans. They were established here and Erik had grand plan for this place. To turn what was now a quaint island into a self sustaining city. It would take time, but they were well on track. Today however, he spent mostly with his youngest daughter, Anya. He took her out to explore the area, Nina joining them for a little while until she went off to play with a friend. A human friend.
That was something else that Magneto had wanted for his family; for Nina. To not be cut off from others like her and here, she wasn't. She didn't have to hide her gifts. And soon enough Anya's would manifest too. Having returned not long ago, Erik had put Anya down for a nap, and he was cleaning up the dishes from lunch, when he heard Magda burst in. He immediately went to the door but she was already up the stairs, and then frantically rushed down. Concern immediately filled Erik, but he remained calm. His hands hand to either side of her, resting on her upper arms to gently hold her. "Magda," he said calmly, softly. "What is it?" A threat? Had someone done something? Surely humans had not come onto their land? Whatever it was, Erik intended to resolve it, immediately.

Starting right now I'll be strong
Magda Pulled her face from his chest and nodded, but then shook her head. Yes, something had happened but not one was in danger. Taking a deep breath she reached for his hands and held them. "Everyone is alright." She began, wanting him to know no one was hurt. "But I need to tell you something." She was a little bit shaken, and it was clear there was a host of emotions in her eyes. While yes, there was a small amount of fear, it had begun to clear the moment he touched her. Erik would not let anything happen to her. She felt it. That safe feeling. They could deal with this together.
Not wanting to stand at the bottom of the steps to talk, Magda tugged him toward the couch and half sat on one side. Once he was sitting too she began her story. "I was having lunch with Lana and Luca, and during it I was reading their cards." Nothing unheard of, as Magda loved the craft. She was really good at reading people futures, and even if it wasn't real, most said there was always a hint of truth about it. "That was when I saw Lorna and Pyro. They were being . . . Lorna and Pyro." Which meant they had been trying to annoy each other and everyone around them. "Though there was something off this time. I knew she was about to get angry. Really angry. I knew in my heart that she would end up using her powers." Which was again, nothing new. Lorna wasn't the most stable. "And she did. But Selene was able to intervene, and Lana calmed her down."
"But . . .it's what happened afterwards." She began to tell him, but paused to make sure he was keeping up.
And I don't really care if nobody else believes

Peace WAS NEVER AN OPTION Erik was following along as Magda was telling him all that had happened. None of it seemed out of the ordinary but there was something that was very clearly upsetting -- or scaring -- Magda. Which one it was, he wasn't entirely certain. Knowing that everyone was alright -- physically at least -- reassured him that he didn't have to go and check on things. That he could stay here and calm down his wife from whatever was troubling her.
Magda spoke of how she knew that Lorna was about to get angry and well, that wasn't entirely a surprise since Lorna getting angry was a common occurrence. But there was clearly more to it, revealed when Magda said that it was what happened afterwards. Erik made sure not to interrupt, or dismiss her feelings about it. It took a great deal to bring Magda to this level and he intended to find out exactly what had caused this upset of emotion. Fortunately, they were sitting. "What happened after?" He asked softly, not asking or commenting on anything else so that she could get it all out in one go. The questions or remarks would certainly come afterwards.

Starting right now I'll be strong
She knew this was coming out as a lot, but she was over whelmed and excited, and maybe shaken, and afraid. More of what this meant, not really of what would happen now. She knew what would happen now. She didn't have to come into this like so many with so much uncertain and fear. She didn't have to worry about of her husband would accept her, or try to hide it. She just had to figure out what this meant for her. Emotionally. Spiritually. As a person.
"Selene had gotten to them really fast. I commented on how fast she'd been able to get to Lorna to stop the out burst." Magda had meant it more as an impressed complement. "But Selene said . . . She said that the reason she'd known Lorna was about to set it off was that I knew." Which lead to the part that had sent her looking for her husband. "She said that she'd noticed it before. The way I . . . know things." Magda had always said she had good intuition. Everyone had said it. She just knew something things. Nothing major or very direct. Instinct. "She said that it wasn't my intuition that I am using."
Magda moved closer to her husband, and reached for his hand. She have a half smile before it faded under the weight of the chaos of emotions. "Erik, she thinks I am a mutant. That I am telling the future." Which was thrilled and terififed her for so many reasons!
And I don't really care if nobody else believes

Peace WAS NEVER AN OPTION Erik continued to quietly listen as Magda explained that Selene had only known cause Magda had said something. It still didn't quite make sense as to why it was causing Magda to react this way but as she went on, as she reached for his hand, it started to come together. Selene thought she was a mutant. Erik just looked at Magda, letting his mind process this information. Surely, Selene would not say it unless she absolutely believed it to be true. Selene was a telepath; she could see inside of people's minds, and that gave her more credibility to make such a claim than most. And yet, rationality sunk in. Magda was older than most mutants who's powers manifested as a young age.
Yet . . . Erik was far from an expert when it came to genetic mutation. He did his research, he did the science . . . but he knew there was so much more that he didn't understand. That no one understood. So he just looked at her, knowing that it had been some time since she had told him, since he had said something. Could it really be truly? Was she a mutant with the gift of precognition? They had yet to encounter anyone with such a gift . . . yet the shock of it all was causing Erik to remain quiet. His mind still absorbing the information while it spun with so many questions at the same time. "What exactly did she say?" He needed to know all the information before knowing how to proceed. His other hand went on top of hers that held his, in reassurance. That . . . if she truly was a mutant, then they would figure it out together. After all, it was a good thing. A very good thing.

She loved this man. Magda could tell that he was reacting excatly like she was. Overwhelmed and trying to make sure it was true before really reacting. Something like this would be heavy between them. Not in a unwanted way, but in a welcome and exciting manner. So they both wanted to make sure it was true before they moved forward. Magda believed Selene.
"I didn't believe her at first. It was so . . . . She said she'd been thinking it a while. Watching to try to be sure." Magda didn't care that Selene was in her head. She had nothing to hide, and in this case Selene was doing her a favor. If she was a mutant then she was glad to know about it, thought still afraid for what this mean in terms of how this changed aspects of her life. She had always thought reading the cards was a way to connect to her mother and her culture. That she was good at it because she had this connection that the camps couldn't take from her.
"Selene says the way my thoughts are are different when I am seeing the future. That she's sure." Erik's hand was over her's and Magda turned her hand over to lace her fingers with her husbands. "She thinks I've had the power for most of my life and I've just let it be. That since I've never tried to use it, my powers never got stronger. That if I did they could grow." Sliding closer to him, she looked in his face. "And at that point, I ran to you. Because I knew . . . I just knew I needed you with me." Because even now the fear and shakeness that she had been feeling when she'd run to him was fading quickly, being replaced with a giddy and excited feeling. Unsure, yes. Slightly afraid, yes. But these were small emotions in his presence.
And I don't really care if nobody else believes
