“Now, my dear, no need for any of that,” No need? Was he mad? She had need kidnapped, and taken to a strange place, and put in this room with a stranger. There was need for this and more. Her thinking was rapid, and unclear, as the panic and fear had made half her thinking resort back to her mother language, one she had not spoken allowed or allowed herself to use in over 15 years. Since Ania.
“I won’t hurt you, I give you my word. I’m perfectly aware that you’d much rather be at home than here, but I can assure you that there’s no safer place for you at the moment.” Surely he was joking! Did he think her a fool? She knew danger when she saw it. She had lived it once and she would not be his toy in another man's sick twisted game. . . . whatever game he was playing as she still had no clue who he was, why he wanted her, or even where the hell she was.
“Would you care for a cup of tea?” He went on to assure her that there was no tricks. Magda knew better. Poison? Something to make her tongue speak what her mind did not want it to say? "Tea." She spoke, planning to not drink it but to send it flying back at his head! “Is there any type you prefer? I’m afraid I mostly have black teas; for some reason I’ll never understand, green tea has never quite agreed with me.” "Hot." Because that was the best weapon was it now. “I’m Charles, by the way. Dr. Charles Xavier, head researcher here and basically your host for the foreseeable future. And you, my dear? What might your name be?” She shook her head, and when she spoke the tremble of fear wasn't the only thing noticeable, but her accent that she was struggling to hide as well. "They can put a child doctor before me, but I know when I am a hostage and when I am a guest. Do not give me pretty words to hide your sins!"
"Let me go!"

Magda smiled up at him, feeling her heart swelling with love at his returned words. At his honesty, and his wishes for them. This was more then she had imagined for them, and that he was giving it to her it made her feel so much more united with him. As if they were unbreakable in their relationship.
"I could not imagine my life any other way then by your side." Not only because she'd be dead twice over with out him, but because she loved him. "Just as I could not imagine any other way to spend this this night, then in our bed." Magda put her hands on his shoulders and pushed him back, turning him so his back was to the bed before pushing so he would fall backwards on to it, she used to do when they were younger. Then, she climbed up over him, and smiled down at him. The first night of many, began now.

Magda had long since stop being the frightened victim by his side, and had become a general of sorts to him, thought only in public. In private, it was these sort of moments that filled their time together. Light, teasing words that expressed their feelings better then any words of love could. They enjoyed each other's company, on and off the battlefield. She believed nothing could come between them, and her confidence in that showed.
"Perhaps you should have woken me a little earlier so that there would have been some time before leaving," Smiling, she could not help but to tease him back, even knowing that with so many mutants around, surely one might over hear. "You seemed tired from the last round I put you through, I thought to have to rested for me later." It was a tease at them growing older, but not weaker. He had well proved--and often--that he could keep up with her, and give her a run for her own money in doing so. While they never kept score on who could exhaust the other first, it was a point of pride when she managed to do it too him.

"I never do anything unless I am sure." No, he wouldn't. With Erik everything was well planned and detailed, which meant this wasn't something he had just thought up, but had thought of for a while. Planned it, and envisioned it perfectly before carrying it out. It meant he wanted this. He was sure! Magda found herself smiling brightly at his words. "Very true. How sensible of you." She teased him with words that she had sued before, but not since they were young and full of life.
She had long since stopped teasing him for being sensible, and had instead just taken comfort in that he always had a plan. That he would make sure she was alright. "I know that this is not how you envisioned your life to be." No, it was far from how she had once thought life would be like, but it was the one she had made--by her own choice, and by her own will. He had given her that power. To be free for the first time.
"But I want to be a part of it." Did he not know he already was? That everything she did she did for him? For them? She believed that someone needed to fight for them, but never would have had the courage to do it herself. Not until him. "If you decide to let me." Magda smiled brightly, and for the first time in their whole relationship, was honest with him, and unafraid of that honesty. Of what the words might mean between them, and of what might happen afterwards. "When I was 11, I met you . . . and for the moments we had then I felt a bit of light in the darkness. Like things could be better. And then I lost you, but you found me again, and it was easy. It was so easy to just be with you." Until it ended with a horrid and emotionally damaging loss. "And then you found me again. And while it has not always been easy, the one thing that never changed was that you make me feel stronger, Erik. Safer, more able. Like I do not need to sit back and hide, but that I too had the strength to stand up and say this was wrong. To fight for what was right. You give me that. You make me feel loved, Erik, and it is because I love you that I would rather take the hard times with you, then face good ones alone."
"And no rowdy humans, or . . . . . surprises . . . . are going to change that." Surprise being his daughter.

Magda fought their hold, but they pulled her along. "Please," She begged, her feet sliding over the slick floor. She could gain no traction, or find a way to free herself. It had all happened so quickly! One moment she had been getting ready for bed, the next her neighbor had saw her use of powers and freaked. She had only turned off the light. Years of being neighbors and friends were for nothing. He had instead turned her in. HE had spied into her home, and SHE was the one to be taken!
They pulled her down another hall and she tried to grab the wall, but was only jerked quickly away. The place smelled of a hospital or lab. Too clean. No candles or scents lit here. No fresh air moving. Nothing that would give her comfort. She saw the door approaching, and tried to put her feet down to stop them but soon enough they opened it and pushed her through. Her heart was beating so hard it would surly break from her chest, and her hands shook from the fear filling her.
The door shut behind her, leaving her alone with a young man. She debated trying to fight him, but she was honestly too afraid to try. Moving so her back was against the wall, she walked toward the corner, and stayed there. "Please don't." Do whatever it was she was going to do. "Let me go."

Ruth seemed to say the right words for Magda to hear them, really hear them. It was what brought her out of her slightly distant state to become her more clear minded solider, and more like herself. Would-be army. So full of hate. Fight against. This is why Erik hid his sister from the world. Because she was just blind as the rest of them. How could any mutant not fight for their right to live free and unafraid?
"I would have expected someone with your understanding of what was done before, to understand." Magda was comforting she knew Ruth from before, admitting it as best as she could. "You say you fought the last time, but not this time?" How could she not see them so linked? "If we do not fight back that is were we will be. That is were your children will end up. Bounded. Chained. Starved. Tested on as your own brother was. And yet you stand here fighting for them?"
"I was in their new camps. The ones they call labs now. Locked in a glass box while they tried to see what made me work. Erik saved me. He will lead us to a world where we do not have to live and fear and no more children are murdered because what they are. You would fight this? Fight your own freedom?"

“Magda? I knew a Magda once,” Magda didn't bother showing a reaction. Her name wasn't common, but nor was it original. It was a name that was common with her people, but they were few in number. With how they were forced to be with everyone int he same camps, names had become even more common crossing cultures. “A long time ago, in Poland.” This was when she did pause, and look away from Ruth for a few moments as memories of that place assaulted her. Filled her up and made the panic level rise. While the other woman relaxed, Magda felt herself tense up. Reminders of that place.
Magda looked at the woman's face, and could almost see how she knew her. When Ruth said Poland, it helped connect where she knew her from. Magda could feel the connection to the camps, but was still trying to place the face. She had blocked so much of it out, yet she could almost see herself bringing a too thin, too pale, and too young of a girl some food. "Poland killed many people. Perhaps the girl you knew is dead." Because that girl that she had been. That frightened yet hopeful girl had died. She was now a solider. She was a fighter. "You were right when you called me a solider of Magneto's. That is who I am now." Her tone was almost forlorn, as she she regretted her own emotionally death, but had long accepted it. "It's who you should be too, for you have seen what happens when we fail to fight back."

“So long as full power remains cut off to my house, the gun stays out and ready to fire,” Magda all but rolled her eyes, but didn't demand the woman drop the gun. She wasn't afraid to die, so there was no fear of being shot. Magda's fear was in humans. In being taken. Being helpless. Feeling loss. Not in her own demise. "How very human of you." She didn't know what Ruth's powers were but she could only imagine that with Erik's strength in his that Ruth would be strong in her mutation as well. Yet she clung to the gun.
“And who might you be? One of Magneto’s soldiers, I’m guessing. A bit surprising; Erik made it very clear that no one was meant to know about me.” Magneto's. Not Erik's. Magda wondered at the name choice. Magneto was who he was to the world, but to the ones that knew him (herself, or Charles for an example) tended to call him Erik. Yet his own blood called him Magneto even after Magda had called him Erik.
Magda watched her for a moment, deciding on how to answer before she went with honestly. Her name wasn't public knowledge, the mutant name she used with the outside world was, but for the most part she just went by her name. Human news papers had called her The Witch, or even "The Witch at his side", the name taken from how her powers were yet undefined to them, and hard to understand. However, in the brotherhood she was simply Magda. "I am called Magda." Was all she said, waiting to see if the name held any meaning to the woman before her. Had Erik ever once uttered it, or spoken of her? Would the name mean anything to the stranger?

"It was never forever," Magda closed her eyes, and tilted her head down as the weight of his words hit her, even though she had known them all along, they still felt like a knife. Looking back up at him, she opened her eyes while taking in his words. "But my focus and priorities have not changed from what they were before." No. No they never had altered. They never would.
"Erik," Her tone was almost regretful, and she paused a moment after his name, while she fought not to show more weakness before him. When she did speak again, her tone wasn't bitter, but forlorn; as if she had long accepted the sadness to be apart of the deal between them. "I have always known where I stood with you. I have always known that I was second to your plans, and goals for mutants. I did my best to never come between that and you, for I always knew the result." He'd fight for mutants. "I accepted that, because I love you. Because having apart of you was more then I could ever have dreamed. . . . " The but was clear in her tone.
"However, Ania deserves for someone to put her first." Magda felt a tear fall over her cheek, and she reached up to brush it away, yet before she could another fell over the other cheek. "You can stay, because I cannot deny her the chance to know you, but I cannot . . . " let him stay for her. She had not expected to say this, but now that it was out, she stood by her words. "Because when you leave this time, it will be two hearts I have to help mend, rather then just my own."

Magda heard the couple speaking, and took the time to look around the kitchen. Taking in the placement of everything, the small things left out or perhaps even put their for reasons. It was all very domestic. Alien to her. Both because of her current situation and her past. Her face reveled nothing, but she was taking it all in while the couple had their moment.
“Fine. We’ll talk. But first, restore the power to my house; my husband has to be at work early tomorrow and he needs to get ready for bed,” They must think her a fool. "I will give him the lights." She countered, ignoring the authority the other woman tried to give out as a way of asserting her own. "I will not return full power to this house until I leave. No phones, or radios and if you or he tires to signal or warn anyone I am here . . . . " Magda let the words hang for a moment while she finally turned toward Erik's secret sister, and stepped into the light. "Then I will burn this house to the ground with everyone in it."
Her tone wasn't harsh, and was more matter of fact then threatening. Magda wasn't going to go quietly. She had been at the hands of humans before and she'd die before allowing them to take her. Even if she had to do it herself.
Now that she was finally seeing the woman's face clearly, Magda could tell there was something familiar about it. Something she could not place, but perhaps it was because of her relation to Erik. Yet it almost felt like more. "Your his sister then." She began, not waiting for either of them to sit. Some conversations were best held standing. "The human loving dirty little secret . . . Well, well, well."

Magda felt the oddness of someone talking to her in her head again, and she knew why he was doing it. It meant the men on the other side of the wall could not hear their plans. They'd move it, Charles said, and then run out. Yes, that was a good plan. Run! They needed to run. Magda nodded, and moved to help him. He counted up. ONE, her fingers flexed and gripped the wood. TWO, they'd need to go quickly, and get out of here. There would not be much time. THREE, she pulled, and it was in these seconds that her thinking caught up with her, and while a million thoughts hit her, she understood the basics.
They were not both getting out, because the sound drew the attention. It happened in an instant. She didn't even think about it until her body was already in motion. Reaching over she grabbed Charles' shirt and pulled him from where he stood to the space, and with everything she had pushed him toward it. While many thoughts had hit her--he had a plan to protect mutants, she needed to protect him in order to safe her race--she knew the main reason of why she'd done it.
Because for the first time in years, someone had spoken to her like a friend. For the first time since Ania died, and she'd left 'him' she had felt a connection to someone. He'd been kind to her, and a friend, and Magda didn't want to see anything happen to him. Her fear of losing him, had made her react in breaking the plan, and pushing him toward safety.

Magda found a framed photo of the family that lived there and picked it up. In the moonlight she could only see the basic shapes, but even she could tell there were many smaller bodies there. More then one or two. Many children. Erik's sister was apparently one build to give children. That information was both ironic and sadistic all at once.
Hearing the soft click in the silent room of the safety being slid off, Magda didn't look up. "Are these your children?" She asked, "Is this your family?" Both questions were not ones she expected an answer too, so Magda didn't await a reply. Instead she tossed the frame down, and turned to face the couple who had came running. "What is it with guns?" Mutants didn't need gun. "Tuck your firearm away, I am not here to hurt you or yours."
Magda reached up to wave her finger toward the light, and the ones above the couple came on, keeping Magda half in shadow. "I am only here to talk. Send your husband to bed, and join me at your table." The authority was one she learned from Erik, and she didn't even know that she used it. Magda had learned to lead men, and be strong beside Erik . . . . but apparently he didn't think her such, for he he believed she was then he would have trusted her like she had assumed he did. "I am here to talk about Erik." Maybe that would tempt her into a conversation.

He would not have had her worry. She could have had time to adjust to this, to let it seep into her slowly but instead it was like a slap in the face. Perhaps it would have been worse the other way but now they would never know. He was telling her first, but he was still telling her something that could not and would not be changed. He wanted THIS daughter, but had not wanted HER daughter. For whatever reasons, he had accepted this one. And intended to tell Polaris, this share in the joys with the little green haired bitch.
"Sensitive. Yes. This is that." She had lost a daughter, and this was hard for her. No, that was unfair for even Magda had admitted to Erik that first night back that she understood. They were in the kitchen and she had explained her tattoo was a way of honoring their daughter, and knew that in his way he was doing the same. Only right now she was hurt, and not thinking of her words. "You were right. When you tried to send me away to be with my people. You were right." And her refusal to admit it then had cost her Ania. "Looks like we have proof of that now."
Because this daughter, raised away from the war he had not known he was moving toward then, was alive. "I should have listened. I should have done has I was told." Moving a few steps toward him, she looked up at him, still staying out of reaching. "As I will do now. What would you have me do?" Turning his words on him. She wanted to know what he expect of her, and with her tone was hurt, letting him know that even if he expected things from her, he might not get them.

Magda smiled at his words, pausing to stare at him. "Had I know you wanted me to play hard to get, I would have put up a fight. Perhaps you will find me slightly unwilling to return with you. I will look forward to your convincing." Magada know he would know she would always return with him, and that her words were nothing more then a promise of being with him later, rather then her being unsettled in what was happening.
She was safe. For the first time in her life she was feeling safe. Erik had built them a home where she did not have to worry about humans over taking her, and killing her or doing worse to him. They'd won. It was a win they were working to maintain but it wasn't a constant fight so much as constant building to make it stronger. The fear was easing.
Erik said a single word, making Magda laugh at the double meaning as she followed him out. They were older then most the mutants around them, but the younger ones humor had rubbed off in the glory of being safe. "I intend too." In public they were more reserved, but no less united. Using her powers she turned on the plane, and knew the mutants around it would know that when she turned it on that they were on their way, thus making them get ready too.

Erik broke the kiss to tease her, and Magda felt herself smile at his words. The ease at which they could talk and jest in this moment was wonderful, for in this moment all the hurt she had been feeling was pushed back, and she was reminded of the love she felt for her, and how he made her feel. Erik had never said the words to her, but he made her feel loved . . . especially in times likes these.
He stole another kiss, and Magda didn't even think of protesting, or trying to tell him yes. Let him read it into the kiss again, for she was thinking it, it was pumping her her blood and singing in the warmth of her skin. Gasping a soft inhale when the kiss broke, Magda looked up at him. "I never said yes," She teased in a tone that for the first time in months was clear she was teasing and happy. "I think you are assuming too much." Reaching up she grasped his . . . lapels . . . and pulled him toward her, "It will take much more to please me, for I have been without you for a while." Mainly because they had not been ease together.
Glancing around the room, Magda tried to imagine them living together. Erik liked this neat, while she was more of a free drop it in the floor girl. It would take some adjustments on both their parts but together they could work past this. Looking back at up him, Magda laughed softly, "Are you sure about this?" She didn't want this because he was trying to make amends, but because he wanted it.

Magda got out of the car, letting the darkness and her dark clothing hide her as she approached the mailbox. Opening it, she pulled a letter--what appeared to be a bill of some sort--and read the name on it. Looking up from the letter to the house, her eyes widen and heartbroken, Magda took in the setting. Erik had lied to her. Not with direct words but in omission. She had thought to be his confidant, his trusted, his partner to bare the weight on the on coming war . . . . . but even to her--HER--he kept things from her.
Her breaths came in shallow pants, as if on the verge of sobbing. So much had happened. So many things were growing between Erik and herself, and Magda knew that it was only a matter of time before one of them broke under the strain of the tense feelings between them. His daughter. Now a sister. His past and his lies were catching up to him, and he got the benefit from them while she was left broken hearted. She wanted to be bitter, she wanted to hurt him like he was hurting her but she couldn't. Because he loved him and she stayed for him. For Erik. For the cause she had come to believe in.
She felt lost at sea, and a bit broken. Looking around the yard she noticed a toy left out. Children! Her lips parted on a silent sob. CHILDREN! As if this could not get worse! He had family, and she had him--and she wasn't even sure she had him any longer!
Closing her eyes, she sealed herself off. Ignore it. It will stop hurting if she ignored it long enough. When her eyes opened they were strong. Anger burned there. Her body no longer shaken from the broken shock, but tight and strong. Sure. Magda walked toward the house, and then around it, staying a few feet from it while she circled it. Tucking the bill into her jacket--a present she would leave on Erik's pillow so he'd know she know--Magda came to pause by the back door.
Reaching up to wipe under her eye, she pulled her fingers away to look at the last sign of her sadness, the only thing left was her anger. Looking toward the house in an eiry calm, she used her powers to turn off all the power--alarms, lights, anything her powers let her--before breaking the glass by the door handle and reaching in to unlock it, and walking in the back door. There she waited, for the owners would come, and she needed to see the woman's face before she confronted Erik.

"I am unsure," He was unsure. Which meant that he had come to her before he had made a plan. "I must tell her," At least a plan beyond the act of telling Polaris about him. Had she been anyone else, Erik would have waited until he had a plan in place before telling her about his daughter, and that thought should have comforted her but right now she only felt . . . . cold. Yes, she felt cold. In her fingers, and arms, and toes, and body. It felt as if the warmth at seeing him, and holding him again after his trip was leaving her.
"I never expected nor wanted this," She knew that. How had he reacted to Ania? It had been to send her away. Before Ania dead! After Ania died! It had always been to send her away! It was always the mission! The mission or now his daughter! Everything was always more important, and she was always the one getting left heartbroken and feeling alone because he had to do what he had to do! For once she just wanted him to pick her! TO do something with nothing else in mind but---No. She would not think these things. It was pointless.
"But now that it is here, I can not ignore it." No, of course not. That would be be foolish to ignore a connection that served the Brotherhood so well. "What is it you would have me do?" "I would have you make your own decisions and not ask me to make them for you." That was harsh and she knew it. Lashing out to hurt him had not been her plan, but once the words were out she couldn't find the guilt needed to apologize.
"I imagine she is going to be right pleased with you soon." The little hellion had been seeking Erik's favor since she had got here. "Perhaps I should thank you for the courtesy of telling me first." Ah! Finally, something where she came first. Magda hated her bitter thoughts but they seemed ramped in this moment. Turning from him she walked toward the drinks trolly, and poured herself a bit of his scotch. Upon second thought she poured more, noticing that her hand was shaking. Slamming the bottle down the lights blinked. Anger, bitterness, heartbreak. it was too much. Picking up the glass bottle she threw it at the lamp to make it stop blinking.
After downing the drink, she coughed and turned to face him. "Why did you not tell me before you left? Or when you began to wonder?" These words were not spoken bitterly, but more confused and heart broken. Why wait to drop the bomb?

“They’re after something specific,” Magda glanced over at Charles, and then back at the door. They were after something specific? She had a few really old decks of cards that might be worth some money but most of them weren't really worth anything, and she doubted they wanted any of her herbs for it wasn't anything uncommon around these parts. “I’m not entirely sure what—their minds are surprisingly well—” Wait, what?
Turning she looked back at him, waiting for him to finish what he was going to say, while her heart beat faster. Is there a back way out? Her head jerked around her as the sound came from no where. Looking back at him, she realized what he was doing. Speaking to her. Without sound.
Pointing to a large cabinet, she hoped he'd understand. The fire escape was hidden behind it, because she needed the room more then the exit. Still, if they pulled it a foot from the door they were both small enough to fit behind it and escape.

"We should depart immediately then," Magda watched him dress, enjoying the view just as much as she used too when he was much younger and would do the same. Once he was dressed she turned away to pull on her jacket, the one she had taken to wearing like he wore his own uniform much of the time. Magda was also a traditionalist, her uniform was black and the metal on it was gold--and their was metal.
When she had first thought about a uniform, she had also been thinking of Ania. While she never said as such to Erik, she was aware that had she been wearing anything metal that night, he could have perhaps saved them. Now, so very many years later, she wore metal. It proclaimed what she was to him, gave him extra weapons to make sure he was near without in a fight, and protected her in kind. "Provided you have not changed your mind about coming,"
Turning to look back at him she raised her eye brows. "I am not about to change my mind, if anything that thing you did just an hour ago made sure I was more then willing . . . to go with you." She teased back, before turning and pinning back her hair. Many girls wore it down, and let it fly about, but Magda liked it pinned back when she went out to where they might fight.

"This place is our home," Our home. Not his or her's but theirs. She had noticed the words not long ago when they talked about their home, but she had called it her own, and he his own too. They'd not said it was something shared between them. Now he was! For Erik to be the one taking this first step, and for her to have not even pushed him toward it said so much about everything between them. She had begun to doubt, while he had been seeking to strengthen what was between them.
"For that is truly what makes a place a home." Their home. Magda smiled brighter, looking up at him with a happiness she had not felt in so long. Erik often made her happy in the little things he did; making sure their were cherries around, the touches in bed, the time he spent with her when he could be busy taking over the world--even his name, for he allowed her to call him Erik when human names were not common here.
But this was something of the likes he had never done before. The grand gesture had taken her so much by surprise that she was at a lost for words. "I . . . " Magda laughed softly, while words failed her. How did she tell him what this meant to her? That making this something shared felt for her. " . . . This is . . . " That it felt wonderful, and took her back to when they were years younger, and traveling the world with out any cares or pressures that now faced them.
In the end, she laughed again, moving closer to kiss him, for when ever she failed at words, she knew this would help express everything she felt.
