Magda walked out of the closet and into the main bed room. This house was so much larger then any they had had before. Once it had been called the Baltimore house, but now they were calling it home. When Erik had lead the revolution they had picked this house to be their headquarters. It allowed them ease of access to many places, easy protected, yet still far enough on it's own that you could enjoy the beauty of nature around it. It was also the largest home they could find, and housed thousands of mutants who were training and fighting under Erik's--Mangeto's--name.
The world was his.
Magda walked out onto the balcony, and over the grassy fields, and farming lands that extended around her new home. It was beautiful. No signs of chaos or darkened signs that a war had been fought recently. The land here was almost untouched. Much of the world wasn't like this but Erik had chosen here to call him. Maybe because he knew what these sights meant to her, or maybe it was the strategic planning he wanted.
Looking down to the ground below her, Magda watched some men march by, some of them looking up to her there, but none daring to keep their gaze on her. Erik had never called himself a king, but if the term was used then she would then be his queen. Instead he called himself the leader of the free world, the new world where mutants were in charge. It was only America, but soon they would would amass enough power to move beyond these borders to free the other mutants.
Turning from the sights below, she moved back into the room, and looked down at the sleeping giant. Erik looked so peaceful when sleeping. None of the burdens of the world were shown on his face. He looked younger, and she liked him like this. It helped he was still without clothing from their recent activities. It wasn't often that she managed to work him into sleep afterwards but today he had drifted off, and Magda could not help but to feel pleased with herself afterwards. In truth she had missed him for many years, that now that they were together--even after five years together--she was still making up for lost time.
When he had told her his plans, she knew that apart of him had given her an out. He had not said it, but she had understood that he was letting her known she did not have to go to war with him. However, Magda and refused to be parted from him, and believed in his vision. The one she had helped him build.
And one they were needed to protect now. Leaning down she placed her lips over his, kissing him to help awaken him. Pulling back slightly, she smiled down at him. "It's almost time to leave." They would be going to help put down a small rebellion. The local mutants had mostly contained it, but Magneto making a show there would end it completely.
It was not lost on Magda, that by Erik allowing himself to sleep around her was a form of trust. That by allowing her control of many areas in their lives, that he was giving her trust. She'd once had lied to him, and hid her powers from him. Now she hid nothing. They kept nothing from each other. For the first time in their lives, they were complacently united. "The plane has been readied, and the others are ready to move at your command."

Although Erik was asleep, he was by no means a deep sleeper. Ever since the concentration camp, he had never been able to sleep with as much as he had when he'd been a younger child. Magda's comfort had helped ease some of that. Such as right now. He'd been able to drift so peacefully asleep, despise everything that he could be -- and probably should be -- doing. It was after all, a full time effort maintaining control of an entire country. And this was just the start of it. The last five years had proven to be extremely successful and they had finally created a world where mutants could be free. Where they would no longer be persecuted, oppressed or live in free. That had after all, been the goal. One that they had now achieved. And even though there was still much to do, he couldn't help but allow himself a few moments of sleep -- especially after his vigorous activities with Magda. Only recently had they been able to be regularly together in the privacy of a room, for before, during the intense five year war, it had been quite difficult.
His lips moved with hers, keeping his eyes closed as he slowly awakened from the touch of her lips. The slightest touch from her was enough to raise him into consciousness, if only to prolong her embrace. When she pulled away, he opened his eyes, looking at her as she told him that it was almost time to leave. There had been a small uprising and while it was not enough to cause too much alarm, Erik wanted to ensure it did not escalate, so had decided to make an appearance to bring it to it's inevitable conclusion. He sat up in the bed, his eyes searching the floor for his clothing. He extended his hand, using the metal in his belt that was still waved through his pants, to bring it to him as he moved his legs over and proceeded to put them on. "We should depart immediately then," he told her, knowing that business would often interfere with the pleasure they found in one another's company. "Provided you have not changed your mind about coming," he asked, slightly teasing for he knew she had not.

"We should depart immediately then," Magda watched him dress, enjoying the view just as much as she used too when he was much younger and would do the same. Once he was dressed she turned away to pull on her jacket, the one she had taken to wearing like he wore his own uniform much of the time. Magda was also a traditionalist, her uniform was black and the metal on it was gold--and their was metal.
When she had first thought about a uniform, she had also been thinking of Ania. While she never said as such to Erik, she was aware that had she been wearing anything metal that night, he could have perhaps saved them. Now, so very many years later, she wore metal. It proclaimed what she was to him, gave him extra weapons to make sure he was near without in a fight, and protected her in kind. "Provided you have not changed your mind about coming,"
Turning to look back at him she raised her eye brows. "I am not about to change my mind, if anything that thing you did just an hour ago made sure I was more then willing . . . to go with you." She teased back, before turning and pinning back her hair. Many girls wore it down, and let it fly about, but Magda liked it pinned back when she went out to where they might fight.

Her teasing response caused him to ever so slightly smile at her words, the memory of their recent actions fresh in his mind, despite his small nap afterwards. "Well then, it seems I will not have to convince you further," he said, returning the small tease as he walked up to her once he was finished dressing. He stood directly in front of her, placing a finger on her chin. "Pity," he added, slowly leaning forward as if he was about to kiss her. "I was rather looking forward to doing so," he said in a low voice, heard only because his lips were hardly an inch apart from hers. But before he completed the action, he pulled back and walked away, collecting the rest of what he needed to bring along with him.
He would have to pack his uniform and helmet, for he often wore it when in public. There were still mutants out there who fought for humans -- and why, Magneto would never understand. But never the less, he had to ensure he remained protected against them. It had taken them five years to dominate the country, and he was not going to lose that due to one reckless endeavor. "Come," he told her as he began to walk toward the door. The sooner they went and eliminated the threat, the less chance of it escalating. It was a minor hindrance, but one that needed to be immediately addressed. He waited for her to come nearer before waving the door open with his hand, allowing her to step out first before he followed.

Magda smiled at his words, pausing to stare at him. "Had I know you wanted me to play hard to get, I would have put up a fight. Perhaps you will find me slightly unwilling to return with you. I will look forward to your convincing." Magada know he would know she would always return with him, and that her words were nothing more then a promise of being with him later, rather then her being unsettled in what was happening.
She was safe. For the first time in her life she was feeling safe. Erik had built them a home where she did not have to worry about humans over taking her, and killing her or doing worse to him. They'd won. It was a win they were working to maintain but it wasn't a constant fight so much as constant building to make it stronger. The fear was easing.
Erik said a single word, making Magda laugh at the double meaning as she followed him out. They were older then most the mutants around them, but the younger ones humor had rubbed off in the glory of being safe. "I intend too." In public they were more reserved, but no less united. Using her powers she turned on the plane, and knew the mutants around it would know that when she turned it on that they were on their way, thus making them get ready too.

Magda spoke of how she may be a little unwilling to return, teasing him and somewhat offering him a challenge. He reaction to his words -- or word -- made him slightly smile, easily understanding how she took the word, suggesting its double meaning. But as they were out of the privacy of their room, he knew he could not exactly humor and engage in such suggestive teases. Then again, the halls were still empty. It was mostly when they were alone that he allowed himself the ease of being in the intimate relationship that had built and strengthened with Magda over the years. Especially now, as everything was going the way that they had hoped for.
Mutants were thriving. Humans were no longer a threat. Yes. The Brotherhood's goals had been achieved . . . and this was only the beginning. He used his powers to close and lock the door behind him, before walking alongside Magda to their destination. "Perhaps you should have woken me a little earlier so that there would have been some time before leaving," he teased, keeping his voice low so that only she could hear. So much for no longer engaging in suggestive teases . . . but then again, as long as the halls were empty and no one was near to hear their words, there was no harm done. Besides, it wasn't as if the others did not know of them. It had been years and it would be years to come.

Magda had long since stop being the frightened victim by his side, and had become a general of sorts to him, thought only in public. In private, it was these sort of moments that filled their time together. Light, teasing words that expressed their feelings better then any words of love could. They enjoyed each other's company, on and off the battlefield. She believed nothing could come between them, and her confidence in that showed.
"Perhaps you should have woken me a little earlier so that there would have been some time before leaving," Smiling, she could not help but to tease him back, even knowing that with so many mutants around, surely one might over hear. "You seemed tired from the last round I put you through, I thought to have to rested for me later." It was a tease at them growing older, but not weaker. He had well proved--and often--that he could keep up with her, and give her a run for her own money in doing so. While they never kept score on who could exhaust the other first, it was a point of pride when she managed to do it too him.

He looked at her with playful disbelief and mock offense. "I did not need rest," he said with arrogant confidence, ensuring to keep his voice low so they could not be heard by others passing by. "I was merely granting you the opportunity to rest should you have required it," he said, making it sound as if his actions were doing her a favor rather than him needing the rest. Truth was, the nap was quite restful. Between taking over a country, sustaining that power, and engaging in pleasurable and vigorous activities with Magda . . . it had indeed caught up to him, and he had taken advantage of the opportunity of a few moments rest. Which was of course what she was teasing him about now.
"But it seems we are both well rested now," he concluded, clear suggestion in his words rather than the tone in which he spoke them. He waved open the front door, seeing that their private plane was already prepared for them to take off. It would be a quicker way to get there and the sooner they reached their destination, the sooner this small issue would be resolved.

Magda walked with him into the hanger, and let him get the door. Once they were in the hanger a few steps and replied to the last thing he said, "For now." No one int he hanger would know what they were talking about, so she didn't feel the need to whisper her words. This allowed her to have the last word.
Giving him a smug smile, she walked toward the small plane. "Do you want me to fly?" She asked, not sure if he planned for her or Toad to fly it. It all depended on his plan--and Erik always had a plan. It only depended on what he wanted. Magda, Toad, and all the brotherhood followed his orders, not because they were sheep but because they believed Erik would lead them to the future. So far he had, and she held pride, and asureaity that he would continue to do so.
