Genosha-Type Plot for AU Board

Hello Everyone! SO, I had an idea for an AU plot that maybe we could get a separate sub-board for -- granted the admins and everyone else is on board for the idea! Basically, it is a revised version of Genosha from the comics. This is what I had in mind and please feel free to offer any suggestions/ideas to change or tweak it a little! I'm still in the process of working out some details and making decisions but this is what I have so far. This is mainly from Magneto's point of view since I don't want to god mod any other characters! Plot: After his escape from prison in 1973, Magneto began to build his army of Brotherhood mutants to take over the nation. It was not just about small scale missions (i.e. freeing mutants from experimental labs and such), it was also about steps toward a larger plan of total mutant domination over the country. So bit by bit, they began to take over, destroying humans in the process. Ideas of achieving this could involve perhaps Polaris unleashing a plague and them only offering the cure to mutants [maybe Magda and/or Toad created some sort of screening technology or something?]. That is just an idea! I am totally god modding there, but I'm just thinking how to involve current Brotherhood members into the plot! Feel free to shoot it down ladies and gentleman Anyway, as time goes on, The Brotherhood overtake more and more states, and by 1980, they have full control of the country. Magneto becomes the leader, with the Brotherhood and its massive army keeping things under control. All rights and freedoms go to mutants, where as humans are the persecuted ones and now are the ones living in fear. It is a paradise for mutants, but the opposite for humans; so a total reversal. Magneto rules with extremely tight control, possessing an extremely strong army and maintaining full control of each state. Tons of stuff could happen within this! But as I said, I don't want to god mod anything or anyone, so this is the basic idea I had. What do you all think? We can brainstorm some different things into that, I just thought it would be interesting if The Brotherhood were ruling, and it would create a very different America. If anyone has any input, feel free to post it here or PM me! We can also establish different people's roles, so like . . . if a mutant in the Brotherhood wants to rule a state. Or another mutant wants to join the Brotherhood because it is the dominating group, etc, etc. I look forward to hearing everyone's ideas for those of you who are interested in this =)!

I am all for it! I love the idea of a world gone wrong and Magda and Lana will be there. I think to mix it up that Lana would be with the X-Men, just because of all the pain she felt, and she'd want to end that. It would be one of the few things to make her pick a side. Magda however will be by Erik's side and her normal self, maybe only more darker, helping him control everything.

If Toad can't build the tester thing then Magda and Erik can. He bends the metal based on Toad's design, Magda programs it! OR we can even steal the idea from the Xes!

Here is where I am going to tag Evolution so they will see this. I vote we have a sub-board in the AU where this is the plot. This way instead of the Xmen trying to role play in the same thread as the Brotherhood, we can all have out little miniplots and group threads, and just cross over. Yeah?

Excellent! So Magda and Lana are in! In terms of the X-Men, I'll leave that up to Charles to head to see what they are up to during this time!

Yep, that is why I had suggested a sub-board in my post but only if more people are interested in threading out this plot. WOOT! Thank you for replying Magda! Glad to see you are on board! =)

I will do it too. Polaris can create the virus to be whatever you need it to be.

She would still be with the brotherhood. Maybe up the ranks a bit? She would want to work closely with her Dad, rather then sent to control a sector.

Hmm, sound interesting! I'll have to think about the X-Men's place in all of this, though. But count me in!
