"It is not my world," She had ignored it and kept talking, but that was only his opinion. It wasn't how things really worked. The world wasn't evil--yes, many men were. Yet many were good too. You only had to let them prove it. Erik never gave them the change. He only felt hate. He never learned to love.
"I wonder which was more devastating for you, realizing that your son was a mutant. Or realizing that I was the father." Sucking in a breath, she felt the hurt from his words. "I was only a good man by your standard, when I conformed to your lifestyle." How dare he! "Do not call me his father. Do not call him my son for your convenience."
"Besides, it would spare you the pain of the reminder."
Magda walked toward him, not sure what she would do until she was there before him and her palm painfully connected with his cheek, leaving her hand stinging and the faint echo of skin on skin filling the room. "How dare you." She whispered, before her voice got stronger, "How dare you! I LOVED YOU! Don't you dare make that into your own hate! I never once asked you to change who you were! I never asked you to stop hunting that man, or to not kill, or to change what you wanted MORE THEN ME!"
"I stayed with you, and followed you because I believed that if you could do it---if you could find him then you'd let the past rest! But can't! Our daughter was killed, because of the men who were trying to hurt you! THAT is why I did not tell you of our son. It was never because I was shamed of you! It was never because you were a mutant!"
She pushed at his chest, angry and hurt and still scared out of her mind for Peter. "Damn you!" She pushed again, "You can hate me for for many things but don't you dare make shite up about it! YOU KNOW NOTHING!"

He watched her as she walked up to him. He was not entirely certain what she was going to do, and thus, could make no move to stop it. For before he knew it, he felt the sting of her hand, burning on his cheek. The impact of the slap had caused his head to turn and he kept it in place, out of shock by the action. His jaw clenched, not looking at her but rather, trying to process the fact that she had just hit him. She then went on to say that she had loved him, all her words in defense of his. He had never heard her this angry before, and never had he thought anything he said would push her to this: slapping him and raising her voice. He was unsure how he felt about the words she spoke. He turned to look at her, just in time for her to start pushing him, cursing him. Once again, he did not use any of his mutant abilities to stop her actions. He just stood there silently, listening to her grow angrier and angrier with him, expressing it through words, tone, and actions.
His hand stopped clenching the necklace letting it fall to the ground, realizing that he had nothing to say in this moment. He merely looked at her, not countering her words, nor further explaining anything he said. He simply began to walk past her, to the door. Once he stepped through, without turning to look at her, he raised his hand and the door was slammed shut. Furthermore, he caused the lock to click, the metal digging so tightly and deep into the groove that no key could open it. Nothing or no one could, except him. He did not leave right away however. He leaned against the wall next to the door, taking in everything that had just happened. Magda. The truth about Peter. Just, everything. Giving himself a few moments to compose himself, he straightened his posture and began to walk down the hall. Despite everything, it was time for him to make good on his word. And as he had determined before, Magda would not be going with them.

He didn't do anything to protect himself from her assault on his person, only let her get it out before dropping her necklace and moving past her. Magda dropped to her knees to grab it, and turned to glare at him, rising back to her feet. Then she saw him slam the door! And heard the lock turn, louder then it should have been. "No!"
Running as fast as she could she almost slammed into the door, before trying to turn the handle or pull it open with everything she had in her. "NO! Erik!" She screamed, banging her fist on it, "Don't do this! Erik!" Tears began rolling over her cheeks as she yelled his name, over and over again! "Please! My son needs me! Erik! PLEASE! ERIK!" But she knew he had to be gone by now! The lights in the room flicked with her emotions, and soon the lights in the hallway too! "ERIK!"
Eventually she turned and slid down the door, feel more afraid then before.

Her pleads and even the display of her power in the hall had not been enough to stop him or make him change his mind. He formulated a plan along with a few other mutants, forcing himself to focus on the strategy of getting Peter out, rather than all the other details along with it. Details being Magda and the fact that Peter was his son. No one else needed to know. When everything was finalized, he readied himself for the mission. He had to force his mind to focus on the task at hand, not be filled with all the thoughts of his conversation with Magda. He was unsure how to handle everything and knew he would have to push it aside to give this mission his undivided attention. In a few hours, they had departed. With the few mutants he had taken along with him, they were able to use their abilities to overpower all the guards and scientists within the building. They had gotten Peter and the others out, and Magneto destroyed the research facility, uncaring of who was inside it, so long as it wasn't a mutant. The mutants were all heavily sedated, Peter included. As they were returning to headquarters, Magneto looked at the boy.
He was his son. He did not feel a warm embrace take him over from this newly discovered fact. He was not a father. For fatherhood was far more than just offering the necessities to create a life. It involved an emotional connection with the child. And that was a bond that Magneto did not have, and doubted he ever would. When they returned, the other mutants assisted them in bringing the former prisoners inside. They moved Peter to a room where he could rest on a proper bed, the drugs still strong in effect. It was now early morning, and as promised, they had not started tests on Peter. He was still healthy, and would be fine. He also was far too aware that Magda was still locked in the room, for he had not forgotten about her. How could he have? He made his way to where he had trapped her and paused outside the door. Taking a deep breath, he moved his hand over the lock and further used his abilities to push open the door. He looked at her, not stepping in, forcing himself not to show any emotion. "He is fine." Peter was fine. "He is heavily sedated." So would not be awake for several more hours, perhaps a day. "Follow me." With that, he turned, expecting her to follow after him as he began to lead her to where her son was.

She was standing near a window, when the lock scraped open, and she turned to see him walk in the room. Magneto. Not Erik. Erik had been warm to her, and this man was cold toward her. "He is fine." She let out a sob from the level of relief she felt. Peter was alive! "He is heavily sedated. Follow me." Taking steps toward him she wiped her face and hurried toward the door.
It had been a form of hell, being locked in here with no news. No one telling her when they left, or returned. No one to even give her hope. She had felt like she was going mad! Being locked in this room for so long! It had felt like 10 life times rather then the hours it had really taken. "Is he . . . .did they . . . . " What defined fine to him? "Please I need to know. What had been done to him?"

As he, or well they, walked he heard ask what they did to him. "Nothing," he stated. How did he know this? Because the only documents they had found were test results from his blood work. They had run preliminary tests on him, but nothing dangerous. They had merely been trying to get an idea of what he was like now, before they attempted to unravel the secret behind mutation. "As I said, they would not have started tests and experimentations on him until a later time." They had got to him before then, as Magneto knew they would. He would continue to be confident and arrogant until he was wrong. And while it did happen, it had not in this case.
"He will not wake up for several hours," he warned her. But he was breathing and everything else seemed fairly normal. He led her into the room where Peter lay in the bed, unconscious. "You may stay here until he does." And then, they could leave. While he had spoken about how he would expose her son to the truths of the world, he also was unsure if he could be around them. Peter was his son by blood, but Magneto knew nothing about what it was to be a father. And Magda . . . well, he was unsure how to define what was between them. So perhaps, it would be best that the two of them just leave. And yet, Magneto wondered if he really could let them go.

"Nothing," Nothing! It was the greatest word he could have spoken to her in this moment. Nothing had been done to him! She had gotten to Magneto and gotten him to get Peter before they could do anything to him! It was enough to almost make it hard to walk--but her need to see her son was too great! Too powerful, perhaps her love was the only thing stronger and more powerful then even this Magneto.
"He will not wake up for several hours," Perhaps that was best, it would allow him to get rest--though she also wished that he was awake now. She wanted to hear his voice, wanted his charming arrogance to let her know he was alright. "You may stay here until he does." Pausing she turned to look back at this Magneto, and when she spoke her voice was filled with emotions she could not name. "Thank you." For saving their son. With that she turned and ran toward her sleeping son, sitting on the edge of the bed and touching his face.
Seeing he was breathing, and untouched made her began crying and lowered her face to his neck.

Magneto watched silently as she buried her face into Peter's neck and began crying. He did not watch for long. Eventually, he turned, leaving the son and mother to reunited with one another. This was not a moment for him to join them, if ever there would even be a moment. Instead, he returned to his room, closing and locking the door behind him for he did not wish to be disturbed. He changed out of his uniform, dressing in more casual attire. He also found company in a bottle of scotch. He sat on the couch in his room, staring at the blank wall in front of him as he clutched his glass. His helmet was next to him, having had the intention to clean it but got too distracted with thoughts in his own mind. He was unsure of how long he had just been sitting here, unable to find the solace of sleep for there was far too much keeping him away.
It wasn't until he heard a knock at the door that he seemed to snap back into reality, though was not welcoming of the distraction. Irritably, he rose to his feet and went over to the door. While he knew he could just his powers to open it, he did not want to let whoever it was on the other end inside. He did not feel like being in the company of another. Until he saw who it was. Opening the door, Magda stood there as he saw a departing Toad already half way down the hall. He looked back at Magda, staring at her, wondering whether she had come here for round 2, or if she had come to say goodbye.

She needed to talk to him. Magneto. There were too many questions left unanswered, and they needed to be clear before Peter woke up--before she took him home. Pausing at the door it first came to her, for the first time. She could not take him home. They needed to burn their ties to that life. Start new, and somewhere different. While walking down the hall, and looking for Magneto, she began making a list in her head.
Step one, talk to him. Step two, get her daughter. Step three, disappear with her family.
Finally she found the toad man, who ate a bird before her! "Ah!" She screamed before demanding he take her to Magneto! Eventually the green one knocked on a door that he had lead her too, and Eri--Magneto opened it. Her lipstick was gone, and so was everything else she had used to hide herself. Before him now was just Magda, plain and simple. "Can we speak for a moment?" She asked, "Please."

He watched her as she asked to speak with him, adding in a polite please. He continued to stare at her without a verbal response, knowing that denying her company wasn't exactly his strong suit. He stepped to the side, allowing her entrance, before shutting the door behind them without touching it. He was unsure what there was left to say, and knew that there was everything to say.
"What is it you want to speak about?" He questioned, deciding to let her take the lead on this conversation. After all, she was the one who had come to him. Twice now. The first time under an alias. This time, as herself. No sunglasses, no wig, no concealing clothing. It was Magda. The woman he deeply cared for, and even right now, despite all that was between them, he continued to see her that way. Even though he tried desperately not to. He did not want to waste time with pleasantries and small talk. Whatever she had come here to say, he was giving her the opportunity to just say it with his direct question.

He stepped to the side and allowed her to walk into the room, and she did notice that he dind't touch the door in order to shut it--thus shutting her into the room with him. She took a moment to notice everything in it. The bed, the couch the decor, the bed, his helmet, all the metal, the bed. Walking toward the couch, Magda also noticed his drink. Pausing while he asked her what she wanted, she then bend down to lift the bottle. "Somethings never change." She said softly, before sitting it back down and looking at the helmet.
Lifting it up, she held it with one hand, and looked down at it. His crown. The hat that made him king. Not Erik. Magneto. Her fingers loosened and slowly it dropped back toward the couch. Her Erik was gone, and for a moment her heart broke for the man who had gotten so little love in life that he hated everyone.
Turning she faced him, this Magneto. "I--" There was so much she wanted to say. It had been more then 16 years since she saw him last. And just like that time when he found her at the wall, she wasn't sure what to say first. "The last time we spoke, a lot was said. We were both angry and said hurtful things--" And done hurtful slapping. "I was hoping we could speak calmer. Settle some things before Peter awakens."

She lifted his bottle, listening to her say that some things never change. "And some things do," he responded. Meaning, them. As individuals they had changed so very much, and now, the nature of their relationship had also drastically altered. He then watched her observe his helmet, preparing to make a comment about whether she had come here to inspect his belongings or to talk, but refrained from saying anything that would spark another argument. He did not want to argue, contrary to what his previous words may have suggested. She eventually turned to face him, referring to their last conversation and expressing her hope that they could have a calmer discussion. Settle things. He knew what things she wanted to settle.
"I will not say anything to him about who is father is." Because it would do neither of them any good. What would come of him claiming Peter as his son? He could not be a father. And this was not the kind of life Magda would choose to live. It would be best that they keep things the way they had been before all was revealed. That was what logic told him, yet his mind different from his heart. Despite this conflict, he had to force himself to make the decision based on his logical mind, rather than irrational heart. "And that is it." Things were now settled. "You got what you came here for. Your son is fine. You can leave as soon as he awakes and return to whatever life you so choose." Whether it be back to her home, or starting new elsewhere. Where as before he had been unsure of what to do, he knew that he had to let them go. It was the most logical decision.

His words confused her, and her brows bent, her face displaying both the surprise and the confusion. His words from earlier had left her expecting this reaction from him. "I will not say anything to him about who is father is." Which made her even more unsure at what was happening here. This new and unexpected side of him left her unsure about what to even say back toward him. "You got what you came here for. Your son is fine. You can leave as soon as he awakes and return to whatever life you so choose."
Moving to step back, she sat on the arm of the couch, feeling a bit unsteady from how his words made her feel. "I don't understand." Why? He had been so angry, and now he was just letting them go? Not that she wasn't grateful, but she was also a little hurt. He would just let them go? Not fighting to keep his son. It had not been what she expected. "You are not going to . . . open his eyes?" His words. "What changed?"

He would have thought she would be relieved. Reassured. Relax. But instead, her expression showed other emotions, ones leaning toward confusion. Perhaps she did not believe him. Perhaps she did not expect this. Her following questions showed that she had not, stating that she did not understanding, and questioning his words for they were seemingly inconsistent with his previous ones. "If I do open his eyes to anything, it will not be the truth of who his father is." It would be in terms of the reality of this world, as they had spoken about previously. She then asked what had changed. Nothing and everything. He didn't know how to explain himself, how to tell her that in his heart he did not want this.
"Why are you questioning my words when they were what you longed to hear?" She had come to him under the guise of another, clearly not wanting to confront him as Magda. "I will not force you nor him to stay here." He did not do that for any Brotherhood mutant. They were here, because they wanted to be here. They had free will and Magneto was not one to threaten or force them into staying to fight for the cause. "This is not your life." It was not a life she would choose for herself. "So return to one in which you are more comfortable in." A white picket fence, a nice home, a daytime job, friendly neighbors . . . yes. That was the life she had wanted. One that was seemingly safe. One that was away from all she hated about who he had become.

"If I do open his eyes to anything, it will not be the truth of who his father is." Which should be a good thing! She should not feel so . . . out of sorts because he did not seek to claim his son! "Why are you questioning my words when they were what you longed to hear?" She dind't know! She wasn't sure why she felt this way! It was supposed to be a good thing! Not one that left her wanting to beg Erik to---NO! He wasn't Erik!
"I will not force you nor him to stay here." Good! . . . . yes, that was good. "This is not your life." She didn't want this life! "So return to one in which you are more comfortable in." Yes! That was what she wanted! Her life! A home! Her son and daughter and . . . empty bed. No! Yes that what she wanted but not like this. Yes like this! Easy to leave! And hard to leave.
Standing up once again she wished she knew what to say. "There was once when I would have chosen you, over everything." Magda wasn't even sure why she said that. This was not the time to be honest, this was the time to get out of dodge. "Yet now you send me away, with your son, as if it was easy." It should not be easy for him! "I wont burden you again." She began to move toward the door, and past him. Taking her leave.

She spoke words that he could not respond to, for he could not return the sentiment. It was too dangerous to admit to her anything he felt for her. For he was making the most intelligent decision right now. She walked past him, making her departure. Magneto stood, keeping the door locked for a moment, and turned only his head, unable to see her as she was behind him, but wanting her to hear his words. She believed it easy for him to send her and Peter away.
"As easy as it was for you to come here, stand before me and lie, and then be forced into a confession." If she cared for him at all, and part of him wanted to believe that she did, then it would not have been easy for her to do this. Which was why he compared the two. For neither of the decisions they had made could be categorized as easy. With that, he turned his head forward again, keeping his back to her. But using his abilities, he unlocked the door and opened it for her, letting her leave. Knowing it was the best thing to do for the both of them. Or well, apparently for the three of them.

The door was locked! He'd locked her in again. "As easy as it was for you to come here, stand before me and lie, and then be forced into a confession." Then it opened, as he let her go. She stood there as he turned from her, before she slammed the door. Silently she stood there as he moved closer tot he couch and then turned and sat--with luck only then realizing that she was still there glaring at him.
"That wasn't easy for me." Which might have been his point? Had that been his point. Was he saying that this was not easy for him, and suggesting he was letting her and their son go for her? He was giving them up once again without a fight because he thought it was best for her?---Wasn't that what she wanted?!
Walking toward him she came to stand so their knees were almost touching, him sitting with her standing. "I hid who I was because I once a long time ago I knew a good man who would have done everything to help me--but the man I have seen on the telly, who used his powers to drag a follow mutant to him while he tried to kill her in Pairs, and the one who dropped a stadium around the white house so he could kill the president to make a statement--him I do not know. I did not know what he was capable of, and what he might do if he learned of his son . . . . but it wasn't this."
"This was not easy for me! Seeing you on the screen was not easy for me. When that blue girl shot you, my heart stopped! You think this was easy? You think seeing you again was easy? Admitting to you about our son was easy? The only thing harder right now is watching you letting me walk away again!" WAIT! No, damn it! She realized only too late how honest she was being. Her eyes had a momentary panic, but she stepped away and turned from him, when all she wanted was to climb onto his lab. "I lied because this Magneto is not the Erik I once knew."

He had made his way to the couch, having expected her to leave but instead, she countered his words. He was already seated in the couch, and she came up to him, standing before him. He wanted to reach for his drink, yet hearing her speak of past events caused him to pause. She spoke of the situation with Mystique, and the president, both of which were extremely complicated. He had been acting on a threat that would befall them in the future. It had been the only way he believed to solidify their future and stop the sentinels. But there was no point in justifying that for they were irrelevant to the point she was trying to make, and the one he needed to make. Though, at this point, he had no idea what that was. He was so damn confused and the more she spoke, the more she revealed, which only made him even more uncertain of what she wanted. She seemed to realize her slip, and it was the last straw. The last time he could do this. She turned away from him, though did not leave. Silence followed her words, as Magneto attempted to process them. But no longer could he follow along, with any of it.
"What is it you want from me?" He asked in an almost exasperated voice. He looked at her, using the metal necklace to force her to turn her head to look at him as he rose to his feet. "What do you want from me?" He stated, more sternness and a hint of angry frustration in his voice as he stepped closer toward her, until he was standing directly in front of her. "You come here in disguise under fear that I would try to claim Peter, yet when I assure you I will not, you are angry." Point 1. "You want me to fight for you and Peter, yet you loathe the man I am, constantly telling me that I am not the Erik you once knew." Point 2. "Peter is returned to you, which is all you wanted coming here, and now you grow angry at me for not trying to make you stay when you tell me yourself you do not want this life for him." Point 3. With every point he was making, his voice was lacking that regular composure he often had to it, and instead, replaced with the emotions of frustration among many others. A mixture of things, he was not even sure he could properly define. "So why don't you tell me Magda, what is it you want from me?" He questioned, returning to his original inquiry. For it seemed everything he did, only angered her further. Making her stay, letting her go, not fighting for her . . . either outcome, she was displeased with him, and he no longer had the strength or mental capacity to try and determine what it was she wanted.

He made her look at him, and rose up from the couch, to begin making the same points aloud that she had made in her head. What did she want from him? What DID she want?! Magda wasn't sure either of them knew right now! She only knew that she had not expected to feel such stirrings when she saw him, and for him to so easily let her go once again. He damaned, over and over for her to tell him what she wanted from him, and she fought not to scream back at him with how she didn't know!
But she didn't know! She wanted him to give up this hate and love her! Something he had never been able to do! She wanted to be first in his life for once! She wanted him to want this son and ask her not to leave! To give her a reason to stay! She wanted not to want everything she just listed as wanting, and she wanted to not feel alone any longer! To be safe! TO be loved and held! To have a children who did not have to live in fear!
She wanted everything that he either could not or would not give her. She wanted Erik Lehnsherr.
Staring into his eyes, she blinded quickly to keep any emotion from seeping out in the form of tears. What did she want? What could she say? "I want Erik Lehnsherr." She told him, the reached up to grasp his lapels and pull him down to her lips. She wasn't sure which man she kissed, but right now she just knew she wanted to find Erik in the one way she had always known how. Her hands moved from his lapels to around his neck, and to bunch in his hair.

As if he wasn't already confused enough, her next words and actions confused him even more. But the moment her lips touched his, she had robbed him of all thought, which left him with only feeling. His actions driven by what she always seemed to stir inside of him: passion. He instantly reacted to the kiss, deepening it and allowing all the frustration and anger he had otherwise felt, be transformed into a strong, fervent urgency. He moved forward, causing her to move back until her back was pressed against the wall. He then slightly lifted her up, letting her legs wrap around his waist as he continued to kiss her lips with desperate need.
His hands fell between them to her center, and knowing he could not take her pants off with her pressed against the wall like this, he ripped this part of them open, exposing the only part that he needed in this moment. He was used to her wearing skirts, which would have meant he need only lift it to get to where he wanted. But despite her change in attire, he had overcome the obstacle, even if he had destroyed her clothing in the process. His hands then went to his own pants, frantically opening them to free himself and not wasting a single moment before he pushed into her, causing him to heavily exhale as he broke the kiss, though kept his lips brushed against hers, breathing against her. Unable to wait any longer, he began to move inside her, causing her to be pushed harder against the wall, again and again, and again.
