RECAST & REWRITE
- Details: While we here believe that the casting of everyone was great, what would you do if given the power of recasting OR rewriting the movies? This is not a challenge for the ones who would change nothing, but for ones who want to play and tweak the brilliant movies we have come to love. You do not have to rewrite them, only tell us how you would have planned them all out.

DEATH SCENE
- Details: Everyone must die sometime. Here your challenge is to decide WHERE, WHEN, and HOW, then write a post of it happening. If your character has died in the movies, then you can write out that scene or create a new death scene for them if you envisioned it differently.

THE X-MEN The X-Men were founded by Charles Xavier and primarily believe in peaceful coexistence. They protect both mutants and homosapiens alike and believe in appealing to the government, and ultimately change policies to allow for equal mutant rights. Part of the X-Men also involves offering a safe place and education for mutants at Xaiver's School for Gifted Youngsters. Not all mutants who attend this school become X-Men. Their missions include stopping attacks against mutants and/or humans through non violent means, though if required, they will fight in order to protect others. Over the years, the X-Men have gained a reputation as those who fight to help others and while the public has mixed views on them, Charles continues to train these individuals so that they may work towards and build a peaceful future where both mutants and homo sapiens can thrive.
Locations:
The X-Men are based out of Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters. Those select individuals will be trained in combat and through simulations.

Chat Boxes As you can all see, here on the site we have 2 chat boxes! This is to keep the OOC (Out Of Character) chat, separate from the IC (In Character) chat! It will help lessen any confusion and we hope will encourage members and guests to converse with those on the site!
OOC (Out Of Character) Chat Box: this chat box is located on the left hand side of this forum. Guests are welcome to post in this CB if they have any questions, and members can meet and chat with other members in this CB as well! This is for all conversation that is not in character. If you wish to add an avatar next to your display name, simply enter the image URL where it says EMAIL/URL. Please keep your display name and icon consistent with who you are on the site just so there is no confusion about who is who. If you prefer to put in another display name, that is quite alright, so long as we all know who we are chatting with!
IC (In Character) Chat Box: this chat box is located at the bottom of the forum. Your name and avatar are automatically displayed based on your username and icon in your profile on the site. This chat box is for all in character chatting to fulfil all your musing needs. The IC chat does not always have to be consistent with what is happening in the role play. It is meant to be a fun place that can be silly and explore different dynamics of your characters that you might not portray in your posts, or that step outside of the canon verse. We do ask that everyone remain playing the same character they have on the site to avoid any confusion about who is who.

Tagging System The Tagging System is a great way to notify other members when you have posted to them, or have a post that you would like them to either read or reply to! Tagging a member can be done by using the @ symbol, directly followed by the username of the person you would like to tag!
@username
If you are unsure about the username of a member, you can easily find out by going to their Profile, click the third tab called 'Author' and you will find their username there along with the text "Tag me @username".
Please note that some members may have turned off thier notifications, so if you are starting a thread for them, it would always be best to make sure to inform them either by ensuring they knew you will be tagging them, OR pming them the link to the starter!
Tagging can be used both in role play threads, as well as OOC [Out Of Character] threads!

INFORMATION ON MEMBER/CHARACTER ACHIEVEMENTS
What are Member/Character achievements? This is a great way to celebrate different accomplishments on the site! Whether it be post count, thread content, OOC goodness, and so on!
How does this work? First thing you need is an Achievementes page! In this board, create a thread titled "YOURCHARACTER'SNAME Achievements". The second step would be to check out the below masterlist of Achievements and see which ones apply to you! Third step, copy paste and fill out the form at the bottom and PM it to us! We will reply back with the image badges for the achievement. You can then edit it into your achievement page yourself! Please DO NOT add in any badges that you did not receive directly from us!
The pages should be set up for each character. If there are member based badges that you have earned (i.e. made a graphic on the site) then you can include that earned badge in each character page. For achievements like "has ____ number of threads" it has to be as the same character. Everything except the achievements for made a graphic and made a graphic for another member, are character specific achievements.
The more badges you earn, the more you can add! This is just something fun to work towards and a way to see all that you have accomplished on the site! As well, if you have reached over 1000 posts, then all the post achievements before then can also be added to your page.
Note: Any achievement with a * means that we require a link to the post/thread!
