Peace WAS NEVER AN OPTION To say that Magneto was displeased was a gross understatement. "It violates the very rights of our kind for them to force this upon us." The latest political debate had captured Magneto's attention . . . as it did many mutants who protested. Those who weren't afraid of the repercussions that is. He had spent hours in talks with his fellow Brotherhood mutants, and knew that they needed to do something. But at the same time, it was not as easily done as it was said. They needed to be smart. Calculated. But with this being so new, Magneto was simply angered at the debate and conversation itself.
"To force mutants to wear identification that exposes them as a mutant, is a repeat of an oppressive history that one would think human kind has already learned from." Which, they didn't. Hence Magneto did what he did. To ensure genocide for his kind never happened again. Yet what someone in the government had proposed, brought back those memories of what people of different faith were forced to endure in the days where Hitler reigned. "This is precisely the kind of society we should be fighting against. Mutants should be proud of their gifts, but it should be of their own right whether they wish to share them or not. We must normalize mutation and all the powers that mutantkind possess so that they are not persecuted under such ridiculous conditions as th--"
The moment he had turned around, he was met by Magda's lips. So engrossed in his talk -- this not being the first one Magda had heard about this subject -- he hadn't even realized she had approached him. The kiss instantly had an effect, as he closed his eyes and allowed his body and mind to calm. When she pulled away he slowly opened his eyes looking at her. "As this," he finished, though there was a hint of a smile on his expression. Once that touched his gaze as he looked at her.
