Magneto was a wanted man by practically every law enforcement agency. But with mutants, he was not a fugitive. After his televised speech, several had wanted to band with him; join with him. Erik knew what the future would have held in store, and just because they stopped this one particular threat, did not mean there wouldn't be more. It would be endless, until they stood up against all of them and proved that they were superior by being the dominant race. He was currently speaking with a few of the others, having gotten word that more mutants had been captured by Manicore. This time, they were taken to the actual facility rather than a temporary one. Magneto had a basic idea of where it was, but there would still need to be a great deal of planning involved.
If they were to go on this mission, they would need a strategy, and he had a number of those willing to go on this mission. They had apparently received a list of mutants who were captured, and Magneto was waiting to see it so that he could take into account how many were taken. Time was of the essence as well, for he did not want to get there too late. Who knew how long the homo sapiens would wait until they commenced their cruel experimentation. One thing was for sure though, when Magneto arrived at the facility, he was going to destroy ever last bit of research that Manicore had, whether it was their own or taken from Trask. He knew they would not be the last to experiment on mutants, but next time -- hopefully -- he would have a little more of a head start. Tag Lana and then Magda

Working with Erik was odd, to say the least. Yet after her own capture, she had come to see his point about sticking together; that didn't mean however that she was going to war with him--but nor would she let other mutants linger in a prison, when she had the skills to help. Lana's skills were in gather information. She could sweet talk it out of anyone.
She was a grifter, and a con artist. "There are eight." She said walking in the room, cutting past the pleasant talks of how they were and other things they really didn't care about. Opening the folder she tossed down some papers, "And most of the place is metal! Good news for you." Because he was a metal head, "Has maybe 40 guards. They only bring low level mutants there. Now one they fear." Like him.
"They took photos of them and out them in a log. I got the password and printed them real quick." So while his men got ready she could give him the low down. "John Davis," She held up a photo, and just as quickly tossed it down, "Amria Rashid" She held up a photo and tossed it down, "Anya Michael." Another photo. "Isabelle Erikson" Another photo, but before she tossed it down she froze and looked up, her skills telling her what her mind didn't understand.
What the shite was that?!

Magneto looked at Lana as she began to explain a bit more about the facility and those who were trapped inside of her. Eight. That was eight too many mutants who were taken. Forty guards was not so bad, easily manageable. When she finished explaining that part of it, she began to hold up the pictures of the captured mutants and simultaenously say their names. He looked at each one, starting with the first, the second, the third, and . . . it was when she got to the fourth that Erik paused. He stared at the picture and could hardly believe what -- or who -- he saw there. Magda. No. That was a mistake. She . . . was not a mutant. She was a homo sapien. Why on earth would they take a human to experiment on? Magneto knew that was not the right question to ask, for he knew the answer quite plain and simple: they wouldn't. Which meant, that she was a mutant.
That she had abilities. That . . . they had her because of that. He felt a surge of rage begin to consume every fiber of his being. A slight tremble, as the surrounding metal began to shake. Whatever shock he felt at this discovery was currently -- and perhaps temporarily -- replaced by the anger and infuriation he felt for those who had taken her. He was going to pay them pay. Every single one of them.Without a word of explanation -- or even acquiring of his helmet -- he walked right past Lana, right past the rest of the mutants, and left. There was no longer a strategy. No longer an emphasis on strength in numbers. He would not waste another second. Not with this new piece of information which had evidently changed everything. They had her. Because she was a mutant. The former piece of information was quicker to process in his mind, and once it was dealt with, he would start properly absorbing the latter revelation.

What the bleeding hell?
Everything trembled and shook, and Lana took a step back, flipping the photo around to look at the face. Who the hell was this? When she looked back at him he was moving. Sure she could have used her powers to calm him but he might kill her for that given his current mood. "Erik! Control! You need to remember con--" He was gone. "Right then."
Looking back she noticed he left his helmet. "Out in the real world without your condom." Looking at the photo, Lana moved toward the helmet. "Whoever you are, he is more pissed then he was at me. But at them or you?" Lifting the helmet, Lana put it on. "Oh the hell do you see out of this thing?"

It was a small room, with a flat hard bed along one wall. That was all it resembled of the last cage she had been kept in. Gone was the dark and dirty walls, replaced with glass so they could watch her at all time. The small was not filled with unwashed bodies, but with a sterile scent. Everything was bright and white rather then dirty.
Magda, known as Isabelle now, sat on the bed with her legs crossed, watching the doctors prepare a table. She had been caught when she used her powers on camera. Ironic given that she could have used them to erase and turn it off had she known it was there.
She had on white slacks, and a white sweater a few sizes too large; which made it fall off one of her shoulders. The doctors looked back at her, and she refused to look away. Let them see her now, before they took her part and saw her dead.

Magneto was experiencing a whole new level of rage. One that could only compare to the hate he felt for Shaw for all those years before he'd killed him. This time, it was not about avenging the death of someone he loved. He was about punishing those who had hurt someone he loved. She was still alive, and he was going to ensure it stayed that way. Magneto stood outside the facility, the anger so strong inside of him, that he was not thinking what the most strategic action to take was. His main priority was getting her out, and would go through any means necessary to do so. And he was going to make sure that every homo sapien here tonight, saw his face as the last image their eyes beheld before they died at his hands. He began to walk toward the building, raising his hands and pulled away the fence with such force, that it immediately alerted the guards standing there. "What the-" What, they weren't expecting him? Magneto took their guns from them with his powers, and immediately fired three rounds in each of their heads. Ordinarily, he would prolong the moment a little longer, let the bullets linger in the air, build the fear in them, but not today. He wanted them to die.
He continued to walk forward, more men rushing out at the sound of gunshots as the massive spotlight on the guard tower was pointed toward him. He could sense the sniper's weapons pointed toward him. He stood there, right in the spotlight. Good. They could see them. Raising his hands once again, he raised the vehicles parked in the lot, and threw them toward each guard tower with immense force. More men rushed out. But at this point, they seemed to realize that their weapons were useless, for they finally recognized who he was. He didn't have time for their pedestrian antics. He didn't move, not as a compliance to their commands which stated just that, but rather, so that he could eliminate each and every one of them. He took a deep breath and raised his hands once more. This time, he focused his energy onto the top portion of the building. Feeling a slight tremble in his body by the amount of force he was using, he directed his strength into ripping it off the building. All the armed guards in front of him grew distracted, their heads raising to see the part of the building, floating in the air. Magneto, guiding it with his hands, then slammed it to the ground, crushing all those who were in its path, which was most of the men who were trying to stop him. He then walked forward, on the way, pulling two guns from the corpse's of random guards. He positioned each gun on either side of him, floating in the air and moving alongside him as he walked.
Instead of traditionally opening the doors, he pulled them apart, destroying them to grant him entrance. With every guard who tried to stop him, they were greeted with bullets from the guns next to him. He did not flinch. Did not stop walking. The only time he broke his gaze to what was ahead of him, was to read the signs of where the labs were. They would be held there, he knew it. And if she was not there, then he would rip apart the rest of this building to find her. As he made his way down the stairs, he continued shooting when necessary, and eventually let the guns drop when they ran out of bullets. He reached the lower level of the facility, seeing the lab doors. He, once again, pulled them apart, sending the pieces of metal flying to the side. That was when he saw them, and more importantly, her. She was in a glass box and the humans in the room were clearly preparing to experiment on her. He felt that all too familiar fury surface once more. Deciding to create some irony, he forced the metal scalpel that one of the humans clutched, into their throat, causing them to die instantly. He then motioned for the examining board to be thrust forward, pinning one of the scientists against the wall, once again, resulting in death, for Magneto did not plan to spare any of them.
The third one attempted to make a run for it, and Magneto simply used the metal in the clipboard that he was holding on to, rip from his hand and slice his throat. He did not give the deceased a second glance. Instead, he walked up to the glass box where Magda was being held. He placed his hand on the glass for a moment, a glimpse of sadness in his eyes for seeing her in this state. It however, only lasted a few moments. He moved his hand to where the keyhole was and tore it off, while also ripping the door of the glass cage off its hinges. He extended his hand for her to take, seeing her in an entirely new light. While he knew he always loved her, that love was not turned into a deeper one . . . because she was a mutant.

There was gun fire. Magda's eyes moved to the metal door as the sounds of fighting and scream grew closer. Drawling up her knees she huddled there for a moment before standing and walking the few steps to the edge of her cage. The screaming and gun fire grew closer. Finally the door was removed and . . . . . Erik!
She didn't care that he killed these men! It was no longer important to her to avoid the bloodshed that she had wanted too in her younger days. He came closer and out his hand on the glass, and she quickly lifted her own, her face a pained and saddened expression.
Erik again removed the door and held his hand out to her, but instead of taking it she pushed pasted it to wrap her arms around his neck and be grateful that he'd came for her. It was never going to end. No matter who she remade herself into, she would always be hunted. Pulling back from the hug, her hands moving from his neck to his shoulders to rest on his chest, Magda gave him a nod; telling him she was ready to run and let him get her out of here.

When he had opened the door, she embraced him and he placed one hand on her back in return. He did not let his expression soften. Though holding her like this, being near her, knowing he could keep her safe, was a relief, he still had not forgiven those who had put her here. When they pulled back she looked at him, silently showing that she was ready to continue. He turned toward the door, making sure she was right near him as they made their way down the hall. Noticing the signs, he read the holding cells for the other prisoners. Though she was the main reason he had come so quickly, he needed to get the other mutants out before he destroyed the place. So instead of immediately going up the stairs, he went toward the holding cells. Upon arriving, he saw the other seven mutants accounted for, and in cages, which conveniently, had metal bars in front of them. In one swift motion, he raised his hand and pulled all the bars off, releasing the mutants. He then turned back toward Magda, and continued to lead them to safety as the other mutants followed. When he had got there however, it was far from safety. Helicopters flew around in the air and more vehicles had come to response to the threat: to him.
He instinctively stood in front of Magda in a protective manner, refusing to let any harm come to her. Fools. They never learned and at the moment, Magneto was not complaining. He moved his hands in the air, causing the helicopters to collide into each other, resulting in an explosion, then doing the same with the cars. He piled up all the vehicles in one massive stack, causing them to crash and burn. Next, came the police. He turned around, facing the facility. It was time that Manicore came to an end. This time, instead of just tearing off the roof, he lifted the entire building waving his hands over to the other side where it crashed on the group of law enforcement, crushing all those that had come to stop them. He looked around, cautiously eying to see if there were any survivors. Another couple of helicopters grabbed his interest. They did not belong to the same law enforcement agency; they were their own. The other mutants rushed toward it and Magneto stayed close to Magda, ensuring that there were more attacks on them. The mutants went in two groups; most inside of one, Magneto, Magda and another couple inside their helicopter. Magneto motioned for toad to take off, and he gave a thumbs up, piloting the aircraft. As they ascended into the air, Magneto looked down at what was once Manicore Industries. This battle was over, but there would be more. Far, far more.

Magda watched as Erik killed them all, and even felt a moments fear when the whole building lifted to kill the humans. It was not a fear for them, or even a fear from him. Because she also felt glad these people could not hurt anyone again. And the police who were supposed to protect and serve had not come until the humans were in danger.
The ride in the helicopter was one filled with many emotions. Her eyes never quite making it too him. What was he thinking? How had they come so far only to be right back here. Right back where they'd started--with Erik helping her escape a prison camp that would have killed her. How foolish she had thought him back then, when he could not let go and live his life rather then seek only death--and how right she saw him now.
Once it touched down, she let him help her climb from it. Now where did they go? What would become of her? She knew he was an important man here, so wait to see what he would ask of her.

The helicopter ride was silent. He looked outside practically the whole time, his mind playing over recent events, or more specifically, recent discoveries. He knew that he should be relieved that Manicore was destroyed, but how many more industries would be built for the sole purpose of experimenting on mutants? He would be lying if he were to say that was the only thing on his mind. Magda. She was a mutant. After all this time, she had been one of them. And he had not known. Otherwise, he would have protected her and she would not have had to experience more cruelty at the hands of humans. Soon enough, the helicopter descended onto the safehouse where they had all initially convened. "Stay here," he instructed both Magda and Toad. He then got out, watching the other mutants hurry inside, where they would be looked after. He could not stay here with them. He was a wanted man and he would not endanger such a large group of mutants with his presence. But, he had gotten out of the helicopter for one main reason.
Without going inside, he extended his hand, searching and eventually sensing the metal. With his abilities, he pulled it toward it and within seconds, his helmet was sticking to the palm of his extended hand. Lana was standing there, but he did not pay any attention to her, or anyone else really. His job here was done. He placed it on his head -- just in case one particular mutant was attempting to look for him -- and returned to the helicopter, hopping inside, seating himself across from Magda. "To our headquarters," he stated. She would come with him where they could have some time to speak of things, in a private and securely hidden location.

Apparently they were not staying. Magda watched him hold up his hand, and after a second or two, a helmet was flying toward him and landed there as if it belonged. Her lips parted, knowing what that was. His helmet. Magneto. She wasn't blind. Had seen him on tv, and the news, and everywhere. He'd tried to kill the president and dropped a stadium around the while house. On live tv. She had wondered then what he was doing! How had he come so far?
Now she knew. It was because once again the governments and citizens were seeing what was different and trying to kill it. In their killing they saw no reason not to test, and take apart mutants. Erik knew this. He had saw what was coming long before she did.
Getting back into the helicopter, Magda watched him put on the helmet. As they were across from one another, when their eyes connected her chin went up. Not in defiance but in approval. It was like his crown, she guessed. It showed he wasn't a man, but working beyond personal goals.

He had been looking outside, and then at Toad, at the window in front of them, but inevitabely, his eyes went to hers. It seemed that the timing was perfect to for she returned his gaze. He was unsure what was being revealed on his current expression. It was a serious one, due to the circumstances, but there was also a far great deal more. Hurt, that he had not known who she was. Still anger, at those who had taken her. And pride, that she was a mutant. That she was one of them. Part of the reason they had parted ways was because he had believed her to be a human. He could not build a life with a homo sapien. Whatever relations he may have had in the past with them, were non committal. For her to have been a mutant all this time though . . . he was still in the works of processing it. Still in disbelief. Having locked his gaze with her, thinking all these things, the helicopter suddenly jolted with great force. "We've been hit!" Toad revealed.
Magneto had not been paying attention, and inwardly cursed himself for not having been more perceptive of their surroundings. He moved to the front seat, sitting next to Toad. He saw another missile coming toward them, only this time, he held out his hand and was able to push it to the side, re-channeling its target so that it instead, hit one of the other planes that was here to take them down. Two more missiles came their way and Magneto used the strength within him to alter their course as well. This would be endless. Instead, he decided to go for the larger targets. They were surrounded by four planes. He closed his eyes, and shifted all his strength into the controlling of these planes and whatever weapons they were attempting to fire at them. While doing this however, he could feel the helicopter losing its control and starting to become rickety, until it could no longer withstand the damage and began to fall toward the ground. Erik was putting all his concentration into the aircrafts, and couldn't hold on to the helicopter either. All he could do was hope that he got to it in time, but he could feel them falling fast.

Magda didn't look away from his gaze, holding it without an apology there but not was it a mocking overly arrogant expression. It was merely one that said she was here now, and the rest could wait. It was then that she was jolted roughly to the side! The pilot told them they were hit! Erik went into action before she could even process what needed to be done. When she saw the missions, her lips parted in a silent scream but Erik handled them with his powers.
POWERS! Jumping forward so she knelt between the pilot and her former lover, Magda held her hand out to the dash, and after a few seconds the helicopter steadied, and rose up at a sharp incline. Turning her hand to the right, and it took took a sharp right. Glanzing to the pilot she did a double take before looking back at the dash because--he was green! Which meant he was a mutant.
She'd have a headache from hell when this was over, she she never used these powers so when she did it hurt sometimes, but it was worth it. She'd not let Erik die. Not after he risked it all to save her. Turning her gaze toward Erik, "Kill them all." Because they would only keep coming, and when they did they would only keep killing.

While Erik worked well under pressure, it was his first time controlling so many aircrafts at once, and in addition to that, the missiles they were firing at them. He kept his eyes closed, maintaining a calm mind and composed manner. However, there was a sudden shift in the movement and it caused Erik to opened his eyes. He looked forward and noticed the helicopter was moving. He looked to his side and noticed that Toad was not using any controls. And then he looked between them and saw Magda; he hand extended. She was doing this. What specifically her powers were, Erik still did not know. He could make some educated guesses, but now was not the time for that. He continued to gaze at her, feeling awe and pride. Yes. A great deal more pride than before. Because not only was she a mutant, but she was using her abilities in front of them. To save them. She then said three words that filled him with stronger emotions. All for her. While he did not often need permission or encouragement from another to kill those who persecuted him, it was different hearing these words from her. And it did indeed motivate him.
Finding a new degree of strength, he turned his head forward again. This time, his eyes remained open. His expression intense. He raised his hands and brought the plans into view in front of them. He then forced them to collide together, causing a massive explosion before their eyes, knowing Magda could maneuver the helicopter to avoid the aftermath of the explosion. He then took care of the remaining two planes by causing the missiles that they had just fired, to hit one and then the other, furthermore, controlling the planes so that they were forced in the direct path of the missile, giving them no possibility to avoid it. The threats were eliminated, for now. Toad looked between the two of them and just folded his arms behind his head, leaning back in his seat. It wasn't too much longer until Erik noticed the coordinates, and found that they had arrived at their destination. "Land here," he instructed in a low voice, leaving how the authoritative command he often used when giving instructions.

He did as she had ask of him, and took out the planes, thus making them safe. Both for now and for later from these men. They could hurt no one else. She used her powers to get them to where they were going, and moved to land where Erik told her too. Hovering a half dozen feet over the land she cut the engines--thinking the ground was closer--and the helicopter dropped the few feet toward the ground.
Magda fell forward and hit her head on the panel, and pushed back to the passenger area while holding it. Pulling her hand away from her head, she noticed she was bleeding some. Not enough to kill her.

She seemed to have a fairly good grasp of her powers. It made him wonder how long she had known. How long she had practiced. When they were together all those years ago, she had her powers then. He still did not know how she defined them, but what mattered was that she had them. The landing was a little rocky, and while Erik had managed to keep his position -- as he was seated properly -- Magda fell forward too quickly for him to have stopped the collision of her head against the panel. She was holding it and he looked closely at her, leaning forward. He put his hand on hers that was against her head and slowly pulled it away. His eyes looked over her wound, concern in his eyes, though maintaining the same expression. It would not too severe. He would be able to stitch that. He released her hand and pulled the doors open to the helicopter when they were firmly on the ground. He got out first, and then extended her hand to help her out. "Inform the others of our success tonight," he told Toad. This way, they could focus their energy on the next task . . . which had yet to be determined.
Right now, Magneto's determination was rested on Magda, and ensuring her well being. Staying near her, he pushed open the doors with his abilities. The Brotherhood Headquarters, for the time being, was a large abandoned estate. He had plated the outside walls with metal so that he could maintain control of it should they ever be discovered. There was a great deal of land around them, so it was open, able to detect when an enemy was approaching. So far, it was serving them well, but as always, it would only be a matter of time until they would have to move. He escorted her inside, leading her to his bedroom where he could tend to her wound. He kept his gaze forward, his mind still filled with thoughts and remaining silent the entire time. He was not necessarily angry with her. He was just . . . still trying to let everything sink in. Once they arrived at his room, he waved open the metal door and stepped inside. Once she was inside, without looking he closed the door behind her. "Sit," he said, using his abilities to pull out a chair for her, as he gathered the supplies he needed to tend to her injury.

Erik pulled her hand away, and she looked into his face while he looked over her. What was going on in his head? She didn't think he'd be upset over her asking him too kill, but the rest of it. The rest of it was sure he would be angry over. She'd lied to him, of sorts. Kept so much from him during their time together and . . . and after.
He lead her to a bedroom, one she wondered if it was his. Magda moved to sit down, but her eyes didn't look away from him. "Erik," She said his name softly, but not weakly. Waiting until he looked at her, making eye contact before she spoke again. "Thank you for saving my life, yet again." It was really the first thing she'd really said to him in years. So many years.

As he was gathering supplies, his power enabled him to remove the helmet from his head and set it on the table near him. He also used it to unclip his cape and hung it on the hook. When he had all that he needed, he walked to the chair across from her, setting the supplies down on the table next to them. Firstly, he dabbed a cloth in bowl of water and began to gently dab away the blood surrounding her injury. She had spoke his name: Erik. He had not hurt anyone call him that for some time, because now, he was Magneto. Best known as such and would continue to spread his reputation under his true mutant name. But he did not correct her. Because out of everything, that was such a trivial detail. She thanked him for saving her, and once again, he was unsure what to say. So he resorted to silence, continuing to gently dab the blood away, dipping the towel in the water every so often so that he could clean it properly.
When the blood was cleared, he set down the cloth and picked up the needle and thread. "Hold still," he stated. As gently as he could, he pierced the skin with the needle and began to stitch the wound to stop the bleeding. After a few more moments of silent passed, he kept his eyes attentive to the current task he was performing, but his words were of another topic. "You should have told me." She should not have kept it from him, because he could have helped her. All this time, over ten years, he had believed her to be a homo sapien. Only to now, find out in possibly the worst way. He could have protected her; kept her safe, with him. "Why did you not?" He asked, wondering what her reasoning behind withholding this from him was.

He didn't react to her words, only tended her wound while leaving the silence hanging. "You should have told me." Yet she knew that should have and would have were two of life's biggest mistakes. "Why did you not?" Magda wanted to wait for him to finish before speak, knowing the silence was worse then her answer but not wishing to have this conversation while he wasn't looking at her--yet he had asked, and she owed him an answer.
"I was afraid." She had seen what they did to him, and was afraid. "I can--" She took a slow deep breath, never having said these words out loud. "I can control electronic things. Which is ironic for who I am." Or who she was, for she was no longer that girl. Or no longer wished to be her. "When we met again, you were the only other I knew who had powers. I didn't even know for sure that was what I had. Just odd things happening. Radio turning off before I could reach for the nob. The lights going brighter as we . . . . " Enjoyed being young.
"It wasn't until. . . . " Reaching up she pulled his hand from his work, not wanting him to injure her because of her next words. "It wasn't until Anya died that they were more then small things." Anya, their would be daughter who had been taken from them. "I had lied to my self until then. Said it wasn't me. Made excuses. I wanted it to be over. I didn't . . . " Her eyes watered, and she paused to keep her voice clear. To keep it strong. "I didn't want to live in fear. If no one knew . . . if I never said it out loud then what happened to you could never happen to me."
She looked at him, not knowing if he hated her for the lies. Or if he could ever understand. "When I became pregnant I was afraid. I didn't wish this on my daughter, and when she died . . . " the tears fell. "I felt guilty for my thoughts. I hated myself for failing her. I was so angry that my powers came in stronger."
"I could have came to you then. Admitted what happened but you were set on finding . . . him." If she'd told him he might have asked her to go with him. Worse she might have said yes. Her tone went from saddened to angry, though not at him. For them. For their race and his life and what had been done to everyone. "I wanted to hide and never think of this again. I went to America, took a new name to protect me from my past. Lived a small life, did everything I was supposed too . . . but it didn't matter! They still found me! It's still happening again, no matter how far I run or hide!"
The killing, the hate, the testing on innocent people just to understand what was different. "I wanted to hate you for not being able to let the past go. I wanted too! I saw you on tv and they made you look the villain but you knew. You knew better then the rest of us. That they would not learn from the past. They would only repeat it!"

Magda was starting to explain things. While he continued his work stitching the wound closed, he was intently listening to every single word she spoke. She could control electric things; she was a technopath. It made sense, considering how she could control the plane. But he had never considered her powers when they had last been together. She had distracted him from so much, and he had not been able to be angry at her for it. He had enjoyed it. Cherished that time they were together. Only to have it come to a tragic end, like most endings where homo sapiens were involved. Or that was what he had believed. But she was not a human, she was one of them. A mutant. He was forced to stop his work when she pulled her hands from it and it forced him to make eye contact with her. Though she was still adverting her gaze on him, his was fixed on her, trying to see what emotions he could behind her eyes, behind her expression. She spoke of what would have been their daughter. Lost, once again at the hands of humans. He kept his face calm, composed, almost expressionless as he had learned to control his emotions. Yet, she knew the most vulnerable side to him. Because she had made him love her. Not with any mutant ability, but through a far more natural process.
He could see the tears in her eyes, but he made no attempt to comfort her. Especially when she was talking about how she did not want her gifts; how she had tried to reject them. It made him angry. Angry at those who forced hers -- and so many other mutants -- to live in constant fear. Afraid to embrace their gifts because society told them it was an abomination; a curse against human kind; a plague that should be stopped. Their child would have been a mutant, yet she was killed of men who persecuted others. All it did, was further fuel his hatred for homo sapiens. Finally, she looked at him, her tear filled eyes causing a mix of emotions deep within him. She feared for their daughter, having known the likelihood of her also being a mutant. He had not. There was a chance, but not a guarantee, or so that was what he'd believed at the time. She admitted that the thought of coming to him and crossed her mind, yet at the time, he had been obsessed on finding Shaw. And quite honestly, it was Charles who really helped control his abilities; helped him use something apart from anger to do what he would not have been able to do for a long time, if ever.
Still, he believed he could have somehow spared her from this fear and living in trepidation, if only it was by protecting her better. But instead, she had changed her name and hid. Hid from the world, hid from exposing who she truly was. The outcome of it making her attempts futile. It proved that living in fear was only temporarily successful. That no matter what, they would be found because they were constantly hunted. And why? Because they were different. Because humans knew they were superior and feared extinction. Magneto would prove to them that their fears were legitimate. That mutants would dominate the earth. He could feel the rage for them building inside of them, but it was contained within his heart and soul. She was a casualty of their war. Though she survived, the damage that they did was permanent. They had killed their family. They had killed their child. They had taken years of her life from her. And it would stop. Which meant, they needed to fight harder. She then finished by saying that he had known, he had been right. And yes. He knew that to be the truth. Not because of hubris or arrogance, but because of the very real evidence. Her story being part of it, and then the future being another massive part. What Logan had told them . . . even Charles admitted it. Yet the man would continue to hope that humans would change, where as Magneto would not wait until hundreds more mutants died until there was the possibility that humans stopped killing them. It was far too high a price to pay for hope.
He let her words linger in his mind, taking them in, processing every she was telling him. He broke eye contact and looked up at the needle and thread in her forehead. Without lifting his hands, and only needed to use minimal focus, he used abilities to make the last stitch, cut it with the scissors and then set the supplies down on the table next to them. He then lowered his gaze to look back at her. He was a different man since they last met, and she was a very different woman. "The only way for them to learn from the past, is to solidify our future." This was where Magneto emerged. He knew he had won her over. He could sense it in her voice, hear it from her words, and see it in her eyes. They were the future, a line that he often expressed to others. "Do not hide anymore." It was not an order, but it was still an instructional statement. Hearing that she had to hide this long, upset him. Not entirely at her, but more so, the reasons she had to. "There is no need to." Because she could be here with him. Here, with The Brotherhood. "For our time is coming. In fact, it is already here. To unite, stand strong against persecution and oppression." She more than anyone would understand. "Whether you are Magda or go by another name, you can not change who you are. Would you deny your Gypsy heritage for the sake of assimilating to what is deemed normal in society?" It was a rhetorical question, for he knew she would not. "Likewise, you should not deny your gifts. You should use them. Be proud of them. Accept them." Something that it seems she had not done as of yet. "Embrace them. Embrace who you are, Magda. And do not be afraid of what makes you stronger than any human could possibly be." Mutants were the dominant race. They just needed to stand strong and not be afraid to show it.
