Bobby was a little concerned about how this field trip was going to go. Already John had gotten something confiscated and gotten a warning from one of the teachers, and he was suggesting getting another lighter, which he knew wouldnt be a good sign. Bobby really didnt want to have to have them all leave their trip early, and he also didnt want to see his friend get another day in detention. He was hoping that the longer they were at the school, that maybe Pyro would relax about things and start to like it better. He hoped he'd see that the rules were really to help them all better themselves. Bobby knew the school was making him stronger, besides giving them a safe haven from the rest of the world.
Bobby shrugged slightly as his friend asked what he wanted to do instead. He was half wondering where John could get in the least trouble but knew that he could probably find it anywhere if he really wanted to. "I don't know, wanna hit the arcade or the food court? " He suggested.

Bobby had spent the afternoon practicing with Colossus in the simulator room. They had both really given their abilities a workout. Bobby was getting more and more control over his powers. He was able to use them longer without getting tired, and with more precision. He was really proud of himself and the progress he was making, he hoped that the teachers saw that too, and that they'd stop seeing him as just a kid and let him go on missions with them. He knew he could help. Maybe someday. Maybe he'd even teach here one day, it wasn't like there were a lot of other job prospects for him, unless he wanted to fill up ice machines for a living.
Bobby and Colossus had just parted ways and he was walking down the hallway when he turned a corner and bumped into a girl. "Oh hey! I'm sorry!" He told her, smiling as she apologized, keeping her gaze down. "Hey, really its okay, it was probably my fault" He told her. He looked at her a little longer, not having remembered seeing her around the school before. Was she new? Was she just touring? The professor would hate it if he was rude and scared away someone checking the place out. "Really, no harm done....are you new here? I dont remember seeing you around? I'm Bobby" He said extending out his hand, hoping he hadn't scared her away.

Bobby enjoyed the field trips they got to go on. Even if it wasn't anywhere too exciting, it was nice to get away from the school for a little while. It wasn't that he disliked school, in face he really did like it at the Xavier school, but like any student, classes could get boring from time to time. This was a nice break, and one that he had been looking forward to since they found out about it. He patiently waited as Ororo went over the last minute instructions for the class. When they mentioned pairing up with another student, Bobby glanced over at John, the two usually stuck together and things like this anyway. While Bobby got along with the majority of the students, he was closer to John than most of the others, even if he did get him in trouble now and then.
Bobby watched Ororo take the lighter from Pyro before going over to join him. He gave a smile to the teacher as he passed by before joining his friend. He chuckled lightly as John suggested going to the dollar store, knowing what his intentions were. "Why don't we try going somewhere that won't get you detention for the next month?"

Early on as he’s a student, the older Xmen think he’s too young and immature to be a part of the team, but he quickly proves himself and his worth to them.

.:Current Location of Residence:.X-Mansion
.:History:. Bobby was born in Boston. When he first discovered his mutant powers, he hid them prom his family, fearing what they would do if they knew the truth about him. He convinced his parents to send him to Xavier’s school instead, telling them that it was a prep school.
Bobby was always a good student while at Xavier’s school, getting into a little trouble now and then, but nothing major. He’s friendly to new students when they arrive and sticks up for them if someone tries to be a bully. He is one of the first students to reach out to Rogue when she arrives, and the two develop a romantic relationship. He has an uneasy friendship with Pyro but things change as Pyro joins Magneto. Bobby’s own brother turns him into the police at one point, showing Bobby that being with the Xmen is really the only place he belongs.
Sample Post
”You should see what Bobby can do” He heard the girl he had fallen in love with say those words as he sat there in front of his parents and brother’s judging eyes. He knew they wanted him to be normal, to say he had made a mistake and that he wasn’t really a mutant. He gave a slight nod to the others before reaching out slowly and touching the edge of his mother’s coffee cup as she went to take a sip. The drink quickly froze and she jumped in shock.
Bobby hoped that seeing that his power wasn’t a bad thing, maybe his family would be more accepting. They would see it as a gift, like the professor had always told them, and not see him as just being a freak, or having something wrong with him. He wasn’t disabled, he could do something extra. But instead the look of horror was apparent on their faces, his brother stormed out of the room. His mother poured out the coffee ice on the saucer in front of her. The only one who seemed impressed was the cat who jumped up and started licking the ice. Bobby felt ashamed and guilty, wanting his family’s acceptance but knowing like this, he’d never fully have it.
