Blackmail. Would he really blackmail her? Lorna hadn't told anyone about her other power, and now Pyro knew. So here they were staring at each other, while trying to figure out where this would go next. He had power of her now, because she had asked him not to tell anyone. He hadn't replied yet and the silence made her uneasy. Lorna could store sicknesses in her. The common cold, cancer, the flu, other stronger biological weapons in a way. Then when she touched someone she would give them that sickness in a range of intensities.
She'd had to use it when there had been no metal around to quickly use and her and Pyro were trying to fight their way out of a government holding cell together. They were walking back (she could have left him there but she was walking with him) and asked him not to tell. Mutants didn't often fear other mutant powers, but everyone knew she was an unstable bitch. She didn't want everyone thinking every cold they got was because she was screwing with them.
She had a home for the first in . . . well, maybe her whole life. The could destroy her here. They might even ask her to leave. Magneto was starting to trust her, and she wanted to stay! So Lorna had stopped walking and asked him out right if he was going to keep her secret. |
