Nina stared at the little stick with two pink lines and thought she was goign to be sick again this morning, only this time it was not morning sickness. She was pregnant. It was not only unexpected but coming at the worst of times, and from someone she wasn't ready to spend the rest of her life with. Pyro, or John had been apart of a one night, slightly drunk, slightly rebellious night. She had wanted to cut loose and be wild--but at 17 she wasn't ready to deal with long term results of one night of poor choices.

He was sitting on the bed in her room, while she was in the bathroom silently freaking out in her head, while her body grew cold and numb. Her father alone was going to freak out! She had always been the mature and well behaved daughter! She was not supposed to be the teenage pregnancy daughter! She was turning 18 in three months! She was supposed to be looking at colleges nor bassinets!

Nina put her hands on the sick and took a few long deep breaths. She wanted her mother! She wanted her mother more now then she had in the 11 years since her mother had died. She wanted that soft support she knew her mother would have gave her! Right now she had a father who was going to either kill her or John, a . . . . whatever John was now? Baby Daddy who was more immature then the baby already was! And Lorna . . . . oh gosh Lorna! She already had issues and now her bestie was going to be spending time with the baby and not her and that would set her off!

Wait . . . would John spend time with the baby?? Would he be there for her? Would she be doing this alone?! Nina felt herself starting to panic! Her breathing came faster! Oh gosh! She was a single 17 year old mother! Would he stay? She knew he was out there waiting for an answer, but instead of walking out she sat shakengly in the floor, pulled her knees to her chest and buried her face in her knees to begin crying. This was not the plan for her life!

Yet she knew that she'd die to protect the baby already!

Pyro was currently sitting on the edge of Nina's bed, his leg slightly bouncing from nervousness. He had gone from pacing to sitting to pacing back to sitting. Anxious, was an understatement. She was currently in there to determine whether there was something growing inside of her, and Pyro in the meantime, was inwardly freaking out. It had been a drunken night and sure, it had been a damn good one -- from what he remembered -- but the fact that it had just meant to happen once. And that it was Nina of all people. Hell, Pyro didn't even know who to be more afraid of: Magneto or Lorna. Either way, he was screwed. That is, if she was positive. If the test was negative then he knew they could all move on from this. And the waiting . . . well yeah, that was what was killing him. The waiting. Didn't the results come in a few minutes? Why did it feel like hours? He couldn't wait any longer. Standing up and making his way to the door he paused before clenching his hand into a fist and lightly knocking on it. "Nina?" He asked. He could have sworn he heard something and pressing his ear by the door, could make out quiet sobs. Was she crying because it was negative or positive?!
