Peace WAS NEVER AN OPTION While it wasn't common, there were times where the Brotherhood had to divide their faction. Their visits to the city weren't exactly overly frequent, so when there was more than one task at hand, they had to split their forces. Magneto hated doing it, but it was only done when absolutely necessary. In this case, a few of the mutants had been sent to an anti mutant rally, to make sure no one would be harmed in the rioting. There were humans who held strong feelings against mutants, and it was those mutants who tended to fall victim to their attacks and hatred.
Meanwhile, Magneto had gotten word of a few mutants in hiding that needed a safe place. He was heading towards them with Selene and a few others while Lorna and the rest were securing the riot . . . with explicit instructions to not make a spectacle of things. He did after all have a 'deal' with the government, and Magneto preferred not to use any force until absolutely necessary. Mainly, when lives were at stake. But when he got word that that was exactly what had happened, fear took him over. Fear, over losing the others. Over losing his daughter -- which was still a concept he was adjusting to. As he was in a completely different state, he only had one option. Pulling out his phone, he quickly resorted to texting. He wasn't exactly big on phone use unless it was an emergency and well, this certainly constitutes as an emergency. Is everyone ok? The first and most important question.

Lorna sat on the curb, her arms covered in black ash and her hair a wild mess, while she tiredly stared at the wreckage. Pyro, her best friend, sat beside her in equal exhaustion. They had one job, and one rule. Magneto had said "do not make a spectacle of things". And this . . . this was a spectacle. She turned to look at Pyro about to blame him for this but then noticed her hair was slightly smoking. Pulling ti around to her she patted it out and then glared at him. While he might not have started it, the fire was defiantly his fault!
Her phone went all and she took a deep breath. Oh, he was going to be pissed. Pulling it out Lorna looked at it. Was everyone ok? Looking up at the firemen still putting out the fire in the stage she looked down at her phone. No one is dead. While she guessed was a small miracle. She sent another, NOT MY FAULT! They were trying to get people to out their kids and put them on a regertsy! I tore up the paper and they started pushing and a riot broke out and then the stage caught fire! And then the police showed up in riot gear! No one figured out we were mutants though. Which was why she was still sitting here. She knew they hadn't started the fire but Pyro had made sure it came out big enough to make everyone run in fear, and the list burned.
Moving to look at Pyro she nudged him. "Milkshakes?" He nodded and they got up to walk to get milkshakes before heading back home.
