Lorna had planned it both ways. She could either go in with herself sneaking around, ducking behind tress and plants, and work her way to the middle where her father was. Or she could do it this way. This way being walking directly up toward the gates, using her powers to shift the gravity fields around the guards so they floated up and up and away, while she continued walking right the gates. Once she was into the compound, she left them fall. One of them begin flying, and she put her up her shield right as they were about to swoop down, so the flyer only smacked into the invisible wall. "How the hell did you idiots take over a country?" She asked to no one, as she kept walking.
As she approached the main doors, Lorna noticed through the windows mutants gathering. Surely they were there to try and stop her. Jumping she shifted her own gravitational field, giving her a high jump to the fourth floor balcony, were she climbed in. Child's play. Really, Magneto needed to step up this game or she was going to get bored. Not that she expected this to be easy, but the masses were proving to be annoyingly easy to get around. In fact since most of them were not down there, and she up here, the only thing she had to decide was which way to go.

When one took over an entire nation, it was of paramount importance to ensure that the base where the leader was, was well protected and fortified. For once the leader was gone, there was a greater chance of chaos to break out while everyone tried to claim the role. Yes. It was indeed a difficult task, but someone had to do it. And Magneto felt rather confident in his current role. Especially since he strove to remain aware of everything happening within his base. Which was why when word came of an intruder who had attacked the main guards, he did not waste a single moment. Not all mutants could be trusted in this world. Some -- for whatever reason -- fought for humans. He would never understand why for those very humans had never fought for mutants. They had attacked them. But Magneto showed the world who was the stronger and more superior race. For it was mutants who now dominated the country, and humans who were proved to be the weaker species.
He made his way down the hall, having glanced at the cameras before departing to anticipate where she would be. It appeared to be only one mutant, so it surely was not an assassination for . . . it would have been a very poorly planned and executed one considering her lack of subtlety when entering the building. He had only a few mutants with him on either side as he walked in ahead, unafraid to be in the front line. He was no coward who expected everyone else to do his bidding. He had to participate himself. When the woman came into sight, he paused, keeping some distance between them. He was unafraid, and perhaps one would say unusually calm considering he was in the presence of an intruder who had attacked a few of his men. "May I help you with something?" He asked, politely, with a strong composure, yet a strength in his tone and an unfazed demeanor. If she was here for him well then, here he was.
