The Brotherhood was growing ever since Magneto's rather public televised speech. Mutants came from all over the world to join the cause, and he could see in their eyes the desire to fight for their freedom. These were the kinds of mutants that would play an integral part in their races future. They, like Magneto, refused to sit idly by and witness their own kind be hunted and killed simply for being different. And for being powerful. For their superiority is that humans felt threatened by. Ever since Magneto's return from overseas, he had been busy catching up with the latest news and updates that his fellow mutants had to offer, as well as training the new recruits that came to join the Brotherhood. One of which, was Ashni Bedi. He had brought her from Pakistan, after after conveniently found out about her being in danger. Her true intentions had yet to be determined, for Magneto was not under any false illusions. She said she wanted to fight for their kind, yet he also knew that many said that upon learning that there were others like them. And not all of them realized just how diligently the Brotherhood fought. So he could not certain say that she would be a committed member.
After all, she had lived a very specific lifestyle, one that she had abruptly slipped out of and was now in an entirely new country. He could imagine it was overwhelming. Which was precisely why he was still waiting to see whether she would stay with the Brotherhood, or go. He never trusted new recruits with vital information. Loyalty was earned and until she proved her, he would treat her as all the other recruits: which started with training. He had been training her for the past couple months and today, he would see whether she was ready to carry out a mission. He would determine whether she had enough control of her powers. He was now waiting for her in one of the rooms of the Brotherhood, having set this meeting the previous day so that they could see if her powers were under her control, and whether he could see if she was ready for a mission, as well as determine whether she was willing to fight for the cause. Even if she did not stay with the Brotherhood, he wanted all mutants to be strong so that they could oppose the threat of humans when endangered by them. Ashni was no exception. Tag Wanda

Ashni had been using her western name with most of the Brotherhood, Wanda was easier for them to say then Ashni, and it made her stand out less among even this eclectic crowd, she would be lieing if she didn't say she was nervous, there was an....energy from the others, a hunger. For many had been hurt, outcast, and that made them angry. An anger she didn't share at least not yet, she empathized with them, when Erik brought in hurt people she would do her best for them. She wanted to protect, she was only starting to feel the need for vengeance, to hurt the ones that hurt her friends.
Ashni had been practicing diligently after he had taken her out of Pakistan she and he had grown closer as he trained her in the use of her powers, helping her hone her offensive power. During those first few months she reveled in her new freedom, Erik had been a harsh task master but always kind. Part of her training had been to put under conscious control her ability to affect things half a world a way, it had been so innocent. 'Wanda, try and push a fault in this electrical grid.' And in London a city block would go dark, the power was intoxicating. She realized she could do almost ANYTHING, and so did Erik.
The meeting today felt...different, she wondered if she was going to go on a mission at last, to rescue some other poor soul. "Magneto?" she called out softly walking into the room.
