AU THREAD RULES
AU stands for Alternate Universe. That is, threads that step outside the canon world of the movies. They can be What If scenarios about things that did not happen in the movies or that completely step outside of the canon verse. Some examples of AU Threads:
[the following statements contain spoilers from the movies]
- Deceased Characters: Threads in this board can involve characters that died in the movies, with the 'What If they didn't die' question. For example: What if Darwin didn't die in X-Men First Class.
- Mixing Timelines: Threads in this board can involve the mixing of timelines and characters. For example, what if Emma Frost met Rogue? What if Banshee went to Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters? What if Young Magneto met Storm? Etc.
These are just some of the many examples of what can take place in the AU board. However, all site rules still apply to this board. We ask that you still remain as close to your canon character as you can, despite the AU situation. And be sure to check with members playing characters you hope to involve in your AU plots.
This board can also be used for plots based on future events however it still must be compatible with the movies.
We ask that you please consult with us about any AU plots to ensure that everything remains well mediated and controlled. Either send us a PM, or post a short synopsis of your plot in the first post, just the general plot, we don't need all the specific details.
AU threads are only to be posted in the "AU Threads Board".
