Erik was currently sitting on the sofa in one of the living rooms, a drink by his side. The residence of Charles Xavier was rather impressive. It was an estate as the very least but the extravagance of it was not what was currently filling Erik's thoughts. He was holding the coin in his hand, his gazed fixated on it. This coin had in a way, cost him his mother's life. And soon, he would kill Shaw with it. After so many years of hunting for the man, he was so very close. They were in the midst of making preparations to stop him. And with that would come his retribution. The anticipation was overwhelming, and it put Erik is a rather calm state of mind. He was anxious to be reunited with his creator, and destroy him for what he had done.
The mere thought alone robbed Erik of sleep. And thus, company. For it was the middle of the night and everyone else -- or so he assumed -- was resting. Training had also used a great deal of energy. Though Erik had to admit, Charles was doing a remarkable job with it. He had allowed Erik to use his power with control and strength. It made him feel all the more unstoppable. The last time he came face to face with Shaw, he had been easily disposed of in the water. This time, Erik was not going to let that happen. Shaw was not going to be walking away alive.
His thoughts had made him temporarily distracted from his surroundings. But as soon as he heard quiet footsteps, and felt a presence, he clutched the coin in his hand and casually put his arm to his side so that he could tuck it away in his pocket. His eyes raised to meet that of Raven's. It caused a slight smile to form on Erik's lips. "Are you following me again?" He asked teasingly, no harm meant by his statement, as it was but an innocent tease. Especially after what that moment was they shared not too long ago in his bedroom. Tag Mystique

Raven wasn't one for sleeping lately, either. Everyone seemed to have some sort of agenda lately and it stressed her out. Of course Charles had tried time and time again to tell her how perfectly fine everything was, and how it'd all work itself out, but lately it was falling on deaf ears. Raven always listened to Charles, but it was in her mind that maybe, just maybe, he could be wrong. Still though, there were others like her around now, and she was going to enjoy the company.
Especially the company of Erik. He seemed troubled, but he called out to her as some sort of lost soul that could be fixed. Maybe that was something else that had rubbed off on her from Charles. Not to mention, he liked the way she looked when she wasn't pretending. She didn't usually find anyone like that. Normally, it was 'Raven, you must fit in.' 'Raven, you must look the part.'. 'Raven, shield yourself from those who don't understand.' With Erik..he thought she looked better when she was just.. her. No pretending.
That was probably why she had ended up in his bed. Part of her was desperate for that kind of attention from someone who would accept her. The only other person that ever had was Charles, and well, he was completely oblivious to any feelings she would have had for him. Even Erik had turned her down, saying she needed to be older. Even that part didn't work. She supposed she was grateful for it, though. Who knew what was going on in that head of her's.
She waited until everyone was asleep, or so she thought, and she walked toward the kitchen to get a snack. She had to pass the common room area where Erik was sitting, and she heard him speak. She rolled her eyes playfully, and shook her head. "I could ask you the same thing. Too bad you were here first."
Deciding to skip the midnight snack for now, she sat down on the arm of the chair. She was in her human form with a robe wrapped around her. She was only wearing pajama pants and a tank top and it had a tendency to get a little chilly in the mansion. The only reason she wasn't in her normal form was because..well, just in case someone -was- awake, she didn't want to alarm them with her blue-ness.
"I couldn't sleep. Got hungry. What's your excuse?"

Erik smiled at her response to his words, and was rather pleased when she came to join him, questioning what his own excuse was as to why he was up as this hour. He would have been even more pleased to see that his words resonated with her, but they had not. For otherwise, she would not have been in the form she was in. She would have reveled her beautiful azure skin, vibrant red hair, and striking eyes. Yet she looked just like everyone else; just like a human, robed and what was deemed as 'normal'. Such a shame. She truly was the epitome of beauty when in her natural blue form, and those who could not understand that and discouraged her from appearing this way, was precisely what was wrong with society. But alas, he could not control her decision. He only wished those around her were not so . . . adamant about her remaining in human form. Hank. Even Charles. Why should they have to hide themselves?
"I may have been here first, but I am still merely a guest in your home," he said in a bit of a teasing voice. Though she did have the right to kick him out if she so pleased. This was her and Charles' home after all. He and the others were merely temporary guests, seeking safe refuge as they prepared for their mission. "I too could not sleep," he told her, looking down at his glass of scotch before turning to look at her once more. "Seems it has eluded us both," he added, though he was fairly certain it was for two completely different reasons. "Though I will say that you provide far better company than this glass of scotch here," he said, with a continued smile on his face, though there was also a hint of disappointment in his gaze and tone. "Would you care for some?" He offered because, well, he didn't want to appear rude. Scotch may not be the drink of choice, but he made the offered none the less.

She never thought of it that way before, but she wasn't a guest either. This was her home, and even Charles would likely tell her the same. Still though, she wouldn't kick anyone out. That wasn't her style. "Don't think of yourself as a guest. Make yourself at home. That's what Charles used to tell me when we were young. Now he can't get rid of me." She teased. She realized that she was in her human form, and Erik was likely scolding her in his mind. She didn't have to be Charles to know that.
She almost took him up on the offer of scotch, and then she shook her head. "Nah.. not the stuff for me." The only reason she would have taken it? Conformity. Why didn't she? Because what he had said to her did ring true.. it was just taking some time. "So, why can't you sleep? I'll go first so you'll feel better." She cleared her throat, and moved off of the arm of the couch, plopping down beside him on the cushions.
"Everyone keeps telling me that we'll be fine. But I don't know if that's true. People are afraid of what they don't understand. Tale as old as time. Look at the Salem witch trials. But Charles..he sees the good in everyone. To a fault. Don't get me wrong, I'd follow him to the ends of the earth and back, but..." she slowly shook her head. "But I don't know if i'm on the same wave length that he is right now.. and that scares me. Because we've always been on the same page as each other. Times are changing and it scares and excites me at the same time.. if that makes sense."

Erik smiled kindly at her words of allowing him the ease of staying here. "I appreciate that," he told her sincerely. Truth was, he was unsure where he would be after the mission was complete. He had never planned his life after killing Shaw, and he was unsure he could remain here, though he was fairly certain that Charles would allow him to if he asked. "I can not imagine anyone ever wanting to get rid of you," he told her truthfully. He was not one to offer false words or unworthy praise. For if there was one thing he did not do, it was lie. And so his words were spoken with the utmost honesty. Raven was indeed a ravishing woman . . . more so to Erik when she was herself. But he wondered how strong his word, the word of one mutant was compared to her lifetime of others telling her differently. He supposed that would be put to the test, for he did not want her to doubt the beauty of her appearance in her true form. She seemed to be tempted for a moment, before she declined, which caused a bit of an amused smile on his lips as he took a sip of the beverage.
He would have made a tease regarding it, but her next words prompted his full attention as he watched her grow more comfortable, situating herself next to him. Something he quite liked. It showed her comfort level, though she had not been one who appeared to be socially awkward to begin with. Erik listened intently to her explanation as to why she could not sleep, the previously amused smile fading as he listened to her. He let each of her words and the meaning behind them sink in, carefully thinking them over and even allowed a few moments of silence to follow after she finished speaking. He was not going to dismiss her concerns by bringing forth his own personal ones. "Charles' intentions are indeed good," Erik agreed, not intending to say anything against his friend for he respected him a great deal. "But you should not be expected to follow him, or anyone, that you do not agree with or have your doubts about." If she did not share Charles' views, then she should not dismiss that and act as if she did for the sake of conformity and acceptance.
"You are your own woman, Raven. Strong, intelligent, independent." She should not have to rely on others to tell her how to feel, what to think, or what to do. Which ultimately brought him back to what he had told her in his bedroom about being herself. "It seems to me that no one has ever asked you what you want. From life, and from others." He paused for a moment, setting his glass down and intently looking at her. "So tell me Raven, what do you most want from life?" Because that would determine everything that followed. She spoke of how times were changing, and she was right. If she wanted to be accepted as a mutant, then perhaps staying here was not the best way to achieve that. Because here, there was only one person accepting her. Everyone else, she was hiding from.

Raven could tell that Erik was listening intently to her woes and concerns. Although she appreciated it, she knew that he was suffering from some himself. It seemed that he wasn't going to let her off the hook, though. Her thoughts that were keeping her awake at night were a gateway in to a conversation that she wasn't expecting. Erik asked her a question.. a question that was so simple, yet one that she'd never ever been asked before. She was caught off guard by it, and it took her a moment to answer.
"Acceptance." She said simply. Soon, the pale skin on her hand started to turn blue. And then it trailed up the rest of her arm, and over her body that was covered by the robe and pajamas that were underneath. "Freedom. A world where I don't have to hide, and where I can be seen as more than just a monster." Her voice started to tremble with a mixture of anger and pain. She cleared her throat, trying to push it back. Still though, she remained in her normal blue form for the moment. She took a deep breath, and she pushed her fingers through her red hair.
"That's all I want, really. To go outside, like this, and watch boys look at me the way they do when I wear that disguise.." It was something that plagued her for a long time. Sure, she'd had boys looking at her before.. many boys. But none of them would have wanted her if they knew what she really looked like. "And to have girls that I could go to spas with.. and not freak out and scream when I turn blue when I relax. I want to be able to not strain to get through my day." She let out a small laugh. "Look at that. Apparently I want a whole laundry list of things..."

Her answer was one word, yet it entailed so much. He watched as she turned to her true form, and the action caused an immediate smile to spread on Erik's lips as he took in the sight of her, as her natural self. Others who could not see her as beautiful, were far too narrow minded and prejudice. They defined beauty as what, what she was when she was hiding from the world? Why? Why could no one see how exquisite she was. How utterly unique and captivating she was. It showed the weak minds and hearts of humans, for those who failed to see her as anything but beautiful, were shallow and not truly looking at her. He slowly brought his hand forward to rest over hers, noticing the way that her voice slightly caught before she cleared her throat and continued. He was not one who often brought comfort to others . . . mainly because there were so few he associated himself with and thus, so few circumstances that called for it.
"You should not have to strain yourself in order to truly live," he began to say once she listed all she wanted from life. The larger things, and the smaller details that some many not even realize they took for granted. "For you are truly a ravishing woman," he told her, wanting her to have the confidence to remain in this form and not hide in disguise. "So perhaps it is time we start finding a way for society to accept us, rather than only reveal ourselves when it is at their convenience and for their benefit." Which is what they were doing now. Erik's intentions were quite different from Charles' as well as the CIAs and most other mutants here actually. His objective was to kill Shaw, but in doing so, they would be saving how many humans lives? And Erik doubted they had any intention of expressing gratitude or repaying them for their efforts. "But in order to do that, we must show who we truly are. We must not hide behind what we believe society deems as normal." He was mostly referring to her in this moment, to her accepting herself.
"I once asked you how you could expect society to accept you, when you could not even accept yourself." Words he had said to her previously when she had been working on building her strength. "And until you do, we can not expect the world to see you for who you really are." It disgusted Erik to know how others perceived her; a monster she had said. The world needed to change it's perception of mutants so that those such as Raven and Hank did not have to hide their true form. What Hank did was something else that Erik strongly disagreed with; taking something to appear normal. How could one expect to do that for the rest of their lives? Why should they? Why would they want to? "And that is far from a monster." If they could only see her through Erik's own eyes, then she would have all she wished; all that she had listed to him.

Erik had a tendency to tell her exactly what she wanted to hear..and the best part was, it was all heartfelt, and true. That was another reason that him turning her down in his bedroom was a good thing. If he was only saying things like this to get her in to his bed, he would have had his way with her already. But no.. he was sincere. "Even the people who care about me the most want me to hide. It's just.. really strange to know that someone wants me to be myself. I'm just not used to it." She stared at him for a long moment, and once more, a nervous laugh escaped her. "If only I were older..hmm?"
It was more than just him being the only one who wanted to see her as she truly was. It was the way he looked at her. "That look right there." She pointed playfully at him. "That's the way I want people to see me. Really see me. No one else does that. It'll probably sound corny but.. you'll always be special to me, Erik. No matter what happens. Because I'll always remember you as the first person who insisted that I be myself." Sure, Charles loved her, and accepted her.. but all of those years of hiding proved that he wasn't like Erik. It was just different.
"I...I'm sorry for earlier, by the way." She knew that the conversation couldn't go on forever without addressing the issue. "In your room, I mean." Obviously he knew what she meant.. but she was prolonging it. "I was just...I liked the way you smiled when you saw me like this." She wrapped her arms around her torso. "I've never been seen like that before."
After a pause, she finally spoke again. "By the way, don't think that you've gotten out of telling me what's plaguing you. I may not be a mind reader, but I can tell that something is bothering you." and now, just as quickly as she went to the apology, she was jumping off of topic. Evading was second nature to Raven.

Hearing her speak of how she was not used to people encouraging her to be herself was rather saddening to hear. For if others truly loved and cared for her, then they would accept her for who she was. But that was not the case. And hearing her speak of it now, made him wish he could do more to give her that unconditional affection from those she most sought it from. "You should not have to be so used to not being accepted, and I am sorry that you are," her told her with the utmost honesty and regret. Why should she have to endure that from others? Because it was evident that she knew no other life. She had been hiding all her life, and if he could offer her any confidence in her appearance and being herself, then he would strive to do so before they parted ways . . . whenever that day would come. She then commented on his former statement, about her being older. He paused for a moment, mentally formulating his response and while doing so, she continued.
Her words eventually led to an apology, and he knew that as she was being honest with him . . . she deserved the same from him. Honesty. While he would not lie, he also knew that there were lies of omission. She was after all speaking what was in her head and heart and he appreciated that she was trusting him with this. Her words, only making it easier to reveal what he thought for they were indeed reciprocated. She too was quite special to him, in ways that he was unable to express. Well, the full extent of. For she clearly noticed the way he looked at her, longing that gaze from others. And she deserved it. It would forever be lost on him as to why she did not experience it more often. "It does not sound corny," he reassured her, not wanting her to think that her words did not mean something to him. They did. He would have to start by ensuring her that she owed him no apology. "You have nothing to apologize for," he began to tell her. "My words of rejection may have betrayed my expression that you now speak of," he began to say. He quickly thought over how to phrase his words before continuing.
"Had you been in your true form, the one you are in now, I doubt I would have been so dismissive of your company." He had kissed her only when she was in her natural form, and had their conversation started with her like that . . . perhaps he would not have used the age excuse. "You are most beautiful, and most alluring when you are yourself, Raven. I was disappointed when I saw the form you chose to be to appear enticing." She had wanted to look attractive, that much was clear, but with her blond her and light skin, she was just another face in the crowd. "It is truly a shame to know that no one else can see or understand that." That she was so gorgeous as herself. "You, as you are now is when you are most enticing to me." He was after all, a man. He had his own perception of who was beautiful and desires that derived from it. He slightly leaned toward her, moving a little closer to her. "Should there ever be a next time, keep that in mind," he said with slight flirtatious teasing, a charm in his voice as he smiled at her. For he doubted he would be able to resist a second time.
"You are quite special and exceptional, Raven. Only a man lacking sanity would be able to resist being in your company." There was something wrong with the rest of the world. Not her. He firmly believed that. "Or looking at you with nothing less than marvel and praise." For that was how he looked at her; a man praising a woman for her beauty and he was quite glad that she was able to recognize that. While this was a conversation he would much rather stay on, she brought up his own reasons for being up at night. "Perhaps what is bothering me is centered around the same idea of what is troubling you: society's inability to accept us." Which was true only to an extent. Quite frankly, he did not yet wish to move the conversation from its current topic. For while he may not find sleep so easily tonight, he at least would find it a productive night if he was able to ease her own troubles and concerns.

Raven stared in to Erik's eyes when he moved closer to her. He was explaining to her why he dismissed her. It wasn't because of her age, it was because of the form she had chosen to present to him. It made sense. He wanted her like she was. Right now. He was so close that she could feel his breath. It smelled of scotch, but the scent never bothered her. Just the taste of it. It was too strong. However, that was far from her mind at the moment.
She noticed that he kept his answer of what was bothering him short, and he probably had a reason for it. "We're both looking for the same things, then." His was a hidden ability. From the outside, he looked like a normal man..but Erik was anything but normal. She took a cue from him, and she moved in a little closer toward him as well. "So, back to the previous subject, which I don't think i'm going to get away from.." A smile formed on her blue lips. "You mentioned a next time. Are you trying to incline that there will be a next time?"
He was flirting, and so she decided to flirt as well. She couldn't not be flirtatious with him. He was gorgeous, he was charming, smart, and the two of them had the same beliefs. "Because, there might not be. After getting rejected a girl can get bitter." Her voice, and the smile on her lips, showed that she was only teasing. "However.. If you do want there to be something else.. Here I am. And you're right.. I'm not going to hide. Not anymore. I'm going to be myself.. and anyone who doesn't like it can look away. It'll only be then that I know who my real friends are.."

She was right. They were indeed looking for the same thing. Acceptance. Freedom. The ability to live rather than just survive. It would take time and effort, but Erik was starting to increasingly feel the need to do something, rather than be idle as he watched fellow mutants struggle in todays words. But these thoughts of politics were put to rest, when the conversation returned to the former one. A wave of relief swept over Erik though he showed no sign of it. Instead, he focused on her. Her words and the close distance between them. He smiled with amusement at her words, speaking of how he was suggesting that there would be a next time, and that his rejection may have left her feeling bitter. He knew she was teasing him, but it was a rather understandable response.
"It seems we should rectify that then," he told her, a continued smile on his lips. "And it seems only fair that I take the responsibility to do so. After all, I would hate to leave you feeling bitter," he said with slight teasing. Though he of course did not want her to have any ill feeling toward him or what he said. Yet she seemed to be understanding the reasoning of his words upon discovering her in his bed. For had she not, she wouldn't be entertaining his own suggestive words. It was her last words that truly encouraged him. Her acceptance of who she was. Of embracing it rather than trying to escape it. "And those who may look away, will have no idea what they will be missing," he added. A great deal, to say the very least. It was their own loss. How proud he was of her for coming to this decision.
For while he had said the words to her before, they seemed to truly resonate now. And he was quite pleased about that. Very pleased indeed. "Now, getting bad to remedying our former misunderstanding," he began to say. His words trailed off as he leaned forward, closing the distance between them when his lips found hers. He raised a hand to her cheek, gently caressing it, feeling the remarkable texture of her skin as he embraced her for the truly beautiful woman that she was. Which apparently was a rarity in her life. How unfortunate for as Erik previously established, they had no idea what they would be missing.

From the outside, everything would have likely happened very quickly. First they were just sitting there talking, and now they were both involved in a rather intimate moment. Really though, it was a long time coming. Especially now that she had come to terms with the fact that to be accepted as herself..she had to show it off to the world. When he touched her cheek, she tilted her head slightly, leaning in to his kiss.
As her lips danced with his, she lifted a hand and lightly slid her blue fingers through his dark hair. It was her first kiss, but she had imagined it in her mind enough that she thought she was doing alright. Hopefully she wasn't screwing up too terribly. She wasn't thinking about her performance with kissing at the moment, though. She was completely lost in Erik, and she didn't want to be found just yet.
For a moment, she broke the kiss, and she started to pant softly. "Wow," she whispered against his lips. "So that's what kissing is like." The only other person who seemed to want to kiss her was Hank, but he only wanted to kiss Raven's human lips. He didn't want to kiss -her-. The real her. "I kinda wanna do it again," She breathed before capturing his lips once more without any question.
Not only was she more comfortable around Erik, but she was also apparently quite bold. In the back of her mind, there was a nagging that if Charles were to come down stairs and find her in such a compromising position with Erik that she'd be scolded or something. But that bridge would be crossed when they came to it. For now, everyone else was sleeping, and it was just the two of them.

Feeling the way that she reacted to the kiss, only encouraged him. His lips moved against her, deepening the intimate embrace. It had been quite some time since he felt this way kissing a woman. With Raven, there was something quite different about her. And he meant that in the best possible way. He could feel her hand running through his hair, a gesture that he found quite enjoyable, yet still not as much as the way her lips moved against his. He knew it was dangerous; dangerous to allow himself to be so caught up in this indescribable bond that they shared. Not because he feared someone walking in, but because of the repercussions it could otherwise have. If it had been just a simple, meaningless kiss, then perhaps it would have been different.
She pulled away far too soon, though truth be told, he was unsure how much time had even passed. He slowly opened his eyes, slightly folding his lips inwards for only a brief second to savor the wonderful taste of her lips. But as she spoke against them, he found himself craving her touch once more. He would have even revealed an amused smile, or perhaps even a chuckle at her words, but she distracted him all over again once she leaned toward him for another kiss. This time, he was more quick to deepen it, though he ensured the kiss remained soft and tender, not wanting her to feel anything but ease and comfort in this intimate moment they were sharing.
His own comfort caused him to slightly lean forward, causing her to lean back until her back rested against the arm of the couch. He would not do anything outside her own comfort level, nor to dishonor her. He was merely placing them in a more comfortable position where he could gain a better angle and her back would have support. After all, their former position in his bed was far more compromising than this. His hand trailed from her cheek down her neck, to rest on her shoulder, ensuring to touch her skin rather than the fabric of her gown.

As he leaned her back against the arm rest of the couch, her body seemed to relax. She knew he wouldn't try anything unsavory, and at that moment she probably wouldn't mind if he did, but that could have been because she was pretty lost in the moment. To Raven, it wasn't just a kiss, either. It was much more. It was a symbol to Raven that she was indeed wanted even when she was blue with yellow eyes and red hair. Maybe even more so.
It was this kiss that would prove to Raven that she was even more desirable in this form. She'd never had an encounter with a man that was this intense when she was a plain normal girl with blonde hair. It could have been strictly because of circumstances, and that was probably likely, but now Raven would associate seductive and beautiful with her true blue form instead of the costume she was forced to wear to be accepted on a daily basis.
The softest of sighs, that could almost be distinguished as a moan rolled past Raven's lips and against Erik's. The fingertips that had once been brushing through his hair were now tracing over the back and the side of his neck while her other hand rested gently on his back as the kiss continued. The passionate embrace was just what Raven needed to show her that everything that Erik had said was right.
Everything that she had been brought up thinking was right - hiding, concealing, even though for her own protection - was wrong. Charles wanted her to be safe, to protect her, to shelter her.. but Erik. Erik wanted her to be independent. Strongwilled. Like he knew she had the potential to be. And all of those years of pent up frustration, and secrets, all flowed in to that heated kiss with Erik.

As he got a feel for her body language and the way she moved against his lips, it was abundantly clear that she had no objection to this new position that he had placed them in. In fact, it seemed to be quite the contrary. Which once again, encouraged him all the more. Her hand shifted from his hair to his neck, and what she caused to stir inside him intensified as he felt the touch of her hand against his skin. The kiss seemed to grow more heated, and he was feeling less timid in his embrace, as the passion within him starting to dare reveal itself. A passion that he had not felt in so long. He had often thought that he was incapable of feeling anything but anger and hate for a man. Over a decade ago, there had been one who proved him wrong. And since then, Mystique was only the other to do so in this intimate way; a way that only a woman could. And even then, not just an ordinary woman. For Raven was far from ordinary and generic.
He gently coaxed her mouth open with his own, further deepening the kiss as he felt the danger of logic and rationality slowly fading from his mind. He had to be in control of his actions and regain himself. Yet she was making it so very difficult to do so. His hand on her shoulder slowly trailed back up over her neck, to her cheek once more, using his thumb to rub against her skin. His other hand moved downward to the tie that bound her robe. This has been the other thing he had attempted to tell her when she was in his bedroom. That she did not need a robe. That she should be able to fully be herself, free of whatever concealed her perfection. His hands slowly pulled it to undo it, soon resting on her neck exposed stomach. He broke the kiss, but kept his lips close to hers. "No more hiding," he whispered against her lips before he returned to kissing her passionately. Perhaps more so than before.

The clothes she had been wearing were merely a formality. She didn't really need them. All of the parts of her that should have been covered were, technically, but she still wore clothes. She had to in her human form, at least. But now, she didn't need those things. "You're right." She spoke in a whisper. "No more hiding." She moved her body to slip out of the robe, and soon, the pajamas she was wearing underneath were no longer needed. Instead, they were now lying on the floor on top of the robe that she had shed.
It felt a little strange to not have to wear clothes. To be touched. It felt a little different when someone touched her skin in her human form as opposed to when she was touched in her natural skin. It felt.. fake somehow, in her human disguise. But now, she felt so natural, and so free. She leaned back in to her previous position against the arm rest again. She gazed in to his eyes, and inhaled a sharp breath. "I'm never hiding again." Of course it wasn't said that she'd only hide when she absolutely had to. There were occasions, obviously, but while she was around her peers.. this was who she'd be.
"And I'm definitely not going to use Hank's.. 'cure'." She didn't verbally promise him, but she did so with a look in her eyes. She once more rested her hand on the back of his neck, and then the other hand rested there as well. She guided him close to her again, and she lightly kissed the corner of his mouth, encouraging him to kiss her more if he wanted.. or to tell her to stop if that was what he so chose.
"Maybe this is what I needed to do the entire time," she whispered softly against his lips. "Just accept myself before anyone else could. Thank you, Erik.." Even though she wanted to give him a chance to halt their heated moment, she was still driven by her desire to continue kissing him. That desire would be known when she planted a feather soft kiss against his lips once more.

He had to admit, he was unsure as to how she would react when he'd begun to encourage her to remove the barrier of her clothing. It wasn't to fulfill his own desires -- though he certainly had no complaints. It was an action to further acknowledge her acceptance of who she was. So when she reacted the way she did, stating he was right and then moved to remove each layer of her attire, he couldn't withhold a smile. He watched every movement of hers, the layers of fabric falling to the ground as she revealed herself. His eyes slowly moved over her body, taking in the sight of her sensual body and he was not even trying to be subtle about it. "Utter perfection," he spoke in a low voice. Before, he had stated the word 'perfection' when referring to her. But now, it was complete perfection. For before, the blanket had concealed her body, all but her face and arms. But now, there was nothing to hide her. And she looked perfect in every meaning of the word. He allowed himself to just stare, his eyes memorizing every detail of her figure and continued to lock on her as she resumed her former position.
Her words caused him to slightly break from whatever trance she had put him in by simply looking the way she did, enough for him to smile at her words and cause his brain to start functioning again. He remained in his own position, hovered over her listening to words that brought him so much pleasure. Having heard what Hank offered her was . . . well, it was ridiculous to be quite honest. To reject ones mutation in such a way was unforgivable. "Do not ever even consider it," he told her, his voice not demanding but strongly agreeing with her words. For she had reached her own decision, and it only made him swell with more pride for her. And make her more attractive to him. For Erik's idea of beauty was not just about the physical. It was about ones mind. Ones soul. Their strength. It created an aura of inner and outer beauty and right now, she was exuding that. Captivating him. Mesmerizing him. She returned her hand to his neck, and her lips began to kiss the corner of his mouth. He had not even realized just how much he missed the contact until she recreated it. He closed his eyes, taking a quiet deep breath to try and slow the rush of whatever she was causing inside of him.
She went on to say how perhaps this was what she had needed all along, and even thanked him for it. Erik, unable to resist, moved his hand along her side, trailing over the curves of her body, lingering over her stomach. Having his eyes closed made the sensation all the stronger as it heightened his sense of touch. He slowly opened his eyes, feeling the urge to look at her. "If ever you suffer from any doubt in yourself, it would be my absolute pleasure to ease them," he said playfully, referring to recreating moments such as these between them. She placed a light kiss on his lips as he leaned toward her for a deeper one. But the embrace did not linger as long as it had previously. Instead, he moved his lips to the side of her neck, creating a trail of light kisses along it as he caressed her skin and enjoyed the way her rare beauty felt against his lips.

The word perfection would have made her blush should she still have had that creamy skin disguise, but since she didn't, it was hard to see the blush on her cheeks. However, she did look away with a small smile. "Perfection is a powerful word, Erik..." Somehow though, she knew that he meant it. Erik didn't seem the type to just toss around words like that.
Once she was positioned beneath him again, settled as she was before, she closed her eyes when his lips touched her's again. Only this time, his lips moved down to her neck and she felt a strange sensation that she hadn't before. A chill ran through her spine that made her arch her back slightly. It was a feeling that she wasn't familiar with. Something that sent bolts of electricity through her body.
"I'll keep that in mind," she spoke with a trembling whisper. His hands trailing over her body made a soft whimper escape her throat against her will. To stifle any further noises, she bit down on her lip, wondering if that was one of those things that constituted in hiding. "Erik," she spoke softly as she felt herself arching against him slightly once more. It was more of a drawn out, almost moan than her trying to get his attention. She didn't want him to stop. It wasn't that she wasn't thinking. It was merely because this man was now a part of her, and she wanted to explore exactly what that meant.

She was quite right about that. Perfect was indeed a powerful word. But not one that he said just for the sake of it. He had no purpose to deceive her with false words and undeserved praise. He spoke these words, because they accurately described her. Because it was how he -- and so many others -- should perceive her to be. Perfect in the way she looked. And the strength of her heart and mind. If their actions now were a result of him being the only one who recognized this, then he was indeed a very fortunate man. Even though he would not place his fortune over her desire to be accepted. However, these thoughts were being put to rest as she thoroughly was distracting him from all thought. The sounds she made, the way she moved under him, it was driving his actions, emotions, and burning desires and urges for her.
Each sound emitted from her, and each involuntary gesture that made her back arch, made him fight the urge to reach for his own clothing and start to shed each concealing layer. Or only the necessary one. It was starting to get painful not to. He paused from his actions, his body heaving with need as he focused on catching his breath for a moment. His hand began to trail lower to her upper thigh, separating her legs by moving one of them so that it was at the side of him, along his waist. Slightly raising his lips, he spoke directly in her ear in a whispered voice. "You are so, incredibly desirable." To say the least. His lips returned to their caress against her, moving along her cheek to her mouth, letting himself taste her once again before moving down the front of her neck and collarbone. Where as he had once felt in control and able to quickly regain his emotions to cease his actions . . . he was not feeling that control slip as he was consumed with a more natural urge that even he could not stop.

Any sort of inhibitions that Raven had left after showing up in Erik's room earlier that evening were now completely out the door at this point. She was far too past the point of no return to tell him to stop now, even if she wanted to. And that very, very much wasn't the case. When he whispered to her how desirable she was, another small squeak slipped from her throat. "So are you, Erik," she whispered back as her lips were just slightly away from the shell of his ear.
Her hands moved to his chest and she clutched his shirt. Her instincts were to tear off his clothing, but that would probably be a bad idea considering they were in an open area where anyone could walk in - and not to mention, she was making enough noise to likely wake anyone. Hiding wasn't an option as far as who she was went, but this private moment could easily be seen by anyone's eyes who happened to roam through the common room to get a drink of water.
"I want you, Erik, more than I've wanted anything in a long, long time. But before we go any further, I want to tell you one thing.." She trailed her fingertips slowly over his chest, up to his shoulders. "From now on.. I want to be called Mystique.. Raven carries too many memories that I want concealed." Of course not everyone would call her that..Charles never would, and she was fine with it. Maybe Erik wouldn't either.. but it was her way of showing that she was ready to start something new. That she was ready to show herself off to the world. She lifted her head slightly, and lightly caressed his neck with her lips. "Raven is the girl I once was.."
