Drunkin demons were playing with hammers in her skull. Moaning, Lana forced her eyes opened before pressing them tightly shut. Too bright! Forcing them open again, she moved her hand slowly to shield her eyes. It felt like moving under water, which only meant one thing. "Oh shite." She'd been drugged.
She could feel control of her limbs slowly coming back as she rolled from the bed and--"OOF!" Landed on the floor! A louder and more painful groan came from her, as she pushed slowly from the floor. Forcing herself on her feet, Lana closed her eyes, first trying to block out everything that was assaulting her now. Fear. Anger. Panic. Anticipation. Glee. An eagerness. There were others like her, she could tell by the emotions, but there was also humans in here that looked forward to something. Blinking she walked toward her glass door, and looked at the card taped to her.
Name: Darklit Mutant Type: unknown
Well that was something. They only her her other name, and nothing what she could do. Which meant they'd seen her with the others but knew nothing else about her. Noted. Looking around she took in the sights of the others, trying to see if their was anyone she knew.

"Son of a bitch!" This was the third time that Jayden had gotten electrocuted. While it wasn't anything life threatening, the shocks that were administered through his body were still painful. He had no idea how he had gotten or why he was even here to begin with. He had woke up in what looked like a prison cell and was being held captive for no reason whatsoever! Sure he stole things, but nothing that would warrant this kind of punishment. Besides, didn't they have to read him his rights or something?
No one had come by though. No since he had woke up which was technically not that long ago. And within that time, he had managed to shock his body three times, for the bars that contained him had electric currents on them. Making it impossible for him to phase through and because no one had come to see him, or open the door, his invisibility was rendered useless as well.
He didn't even have anything to throw angrily at the bars, for the entire room was empty. "What the hell do you want?!" He demanded, wondering if he should be even be assuming these people were smart enough to stick cameras here to watch them. While deep down he knew yelling wasn't going to do anything, he needed some sort of outlet for his anger. And the only thing that hadn't been taken from him was his voice.

"What the hell do you want?!" There was the source of the anger. Lana looked over at the man and tried to see if he was hurt. When she saw nothing major on him, she looked around at the others, no one looked majorly hurt yet. Which was good, but also bad. If someone was hurt then she'd at least know what was happening.
Looking back at the angry one she tried to speak, but at first her voice cracked. It must have been a while since she'd had anything to drink. "Hey," She called, trying to be just loud enough for him to hear. "Do you know where we are? Were you awake then they took you?" Her accent was strong, but after a year with Magneto she had gotten some polish to her words.

He heard a woman with a rather un-American accent start talking. He assumed it was directed at him since he was currently the only one making any noise. She asked if he knew where they were, if he was awake when they took him. "If I was awake then they wouldn't have been able to take me," he snapped at her. He had been ambushed, totally unsuspecting of whoever had grabbed him. And for what purpose? Who would want a bunch of people like this?
It didn't even cross his mind that it could have anything to do with his abilities, for he had kept his powers closely guarded. A secret. Then breathing a word of them to anyone, not even his own family. "Who's they anyway?" He questioned. "You know 'em?" She didn't ask what they were doing here, but rather, where they were and if he had been conscious. Did she know something he didn't? He sure as hell hoped so. He hoped someone knew something about this damn place!

Ignoring his snapping at her, Lana assumed it was just the stress of the whole being kidnapped thing. "I don't know, I just woke up. I don't even remember being taken." Her hand lifted and touched her neck where a sore place jumped out on her neck. "I think I was drugged from behind." Which was only a guess.
"Can you see your card?" She pointed to her own, the label on the door. "Can you see how much they know about you?" If it was enough then maybe he could figure out the who, if not then at least they would know how much surprise they had on their side. "Mine just has a name and then says Unknown for my powers. So they have no idea what I can do."

Well that made two of them. Cause he didn't remember being taken either. What could they possibly want with him?! She then asked if he could see his card. He hadn't even noticed it until she said something so when she did, he started looking around. Sure enough, there it was. Jayden: Phasing. He felt the anger build, if it was even possible for him to be any more angry than he was right now. Wait... she said something about, powers? That was enough to cause him to pause as her words began to process. Powers. Hers were unknown... his were stated there, plain as day. Though it was missing another component of his abilities. He ended up banging on the door, which sent another strong electric shock through his body, causing him to yell out in anger, somehow remembering now to kick it or punch it again.
"What the hell do you mean powers?!" He demanded, not about to tell a complete stranger a secret that he had guarded ever since his powers first came about. Yet somehow, these people knew. And knew enough to prevent him from breaking out. "What is this place?! If you know something, you better tell me!" He knew he couldn't do anything that would legitimize an 'or else' because he wasn't exactly in the most ideal position right now. Was she saying that everyone here had something that they could do? Something that couldn't be humanly explained? Could she also phase or turn invisible?

His door seemed to hurt him, and it made her look at her own. Being his hurt to the touch, she was going to assume that it was electricity. Reaching her hand out toward her door, she waited for a sign. Something. The feeling of her hair standing up, something to tell her that her door was also wired. Yet nothing happened, so she touched it with the back of her hand, and still, nothing. Good. One less thing to over come.
His anger then hit her, and she turned her head away, before looking back at him. "Tone it down, tight pants," She snapped back, letting his anger control her. With a frustrated sigh, she closed her eyes then opened them, having separated his emotions from her own. Reaching out with her mind, she took the edge off his anger, not enough to tip anyone off, just enough to get him to answer her. "I am talking about them knowing what we are. That we can do things they can't. We're mutants, and right now whatever is on that card is what they know of you."

Tone it down? Tone it down?! They were locked in a prison cell! Who the hell was she to tell him to tone it down? Oddly enough though, he did calm a little down. Weird. Since he never really listened to anyone. But none the less, he let his anger ever so slightly subside, listening to what she said rather than lashing out at her again. She was saying that they were mutants, that they could all do things that other people couldn't. That was... something that Jay had never known. There were more of them out there?
More like him? More than those that were in here? How many? So many questions filled his mind, yet all of them seemed irrelevant in this moment. Well, they now knew the why what they did know was the who and where. Then again, who cared! He just needed to get out of here, and soon. He didn't do well as a caged animal. "Oh yeah?" He challenged. "Why are you even in here if they don't know what you can do? How do they even know you got powers?" What kind of game was this?!

He calmed down which was good, it meant they could talk--and that her powers were working still! She wasn't sure what drug they had given her but right now she'd take what she could get. Looking over at him, Lana found her eyes looking over what she could see. He was hot, in his own way. Clearly not white but not as dark as her either. She wondered what his card said, what his name was.
Yet she wasn't going to give him her's while in here. The less they knew the better. "Guilty by association." She explained, "I ran with crowd that wouldn't let a human join them, so clearly I wasn't human. That was all they needed to know."
"Look, tight pants, on your card. Do they know everything? Don't say it out loud, but just tell me if they know everything." What had Magneto once said about her? She was a survivor. Lana wasn't built for war, but she wasn't built to stupid either. "If they don't, then you have the advantage, yeah?"

Guilt by association? Guilt for what? Sure he stole things with his abilities here and there, but were the others here for higher crimes? Or just solely for the fact that they had special skills that others may consider impossible? He glanced at the card, but already knew the answer to her question. "No," he stated bluntly. They got the phasing thing but not the other thing. Which was all he needed was for someone to come and open the freaking cell door. Then he could get the hell out of here.
"Nothings gonna help if they don't come soon," he told her. He was not ordinarily a patient person and this was the height of his impatience as well as his anger and... well, it wasn't exactly a settling combination. "What do they even want with us?" He asked. He didn't even know who 'they' were. Just random people who had nothing better to do than to go around and hunt people down who were like him? That sounded pretty pathetic. Morons needed to get a life. But even he could understand the profit behind it; the chance to make money. And that was all this world cared about. How to make the wealthy richer by profiting off the suffering of others. Story of his life. Story of his people's lives.

"What do they ever want from us?" She asked, resting her arm on her door, grateful she could touch her walls, even if he could not. "They want to know how we work, what we can do, and why we're different." To cut them open, and treat them like a frog in school's biology class. "Give you a hint on how they are going to figure that out."
She looked down the row, before looking up the row. Once she found the emotions of the men, she began to make an eagerness come up. "They know your name?" She asked, trying to make small talk so that if the humans were hearing them they might not know what she was doing. Lana could only hope that they didn't start their eagerness on someone besides her.

"What do they ever want from us?" How was he supposed to know?! He'd never been in this kind of situation before and wasn't liking the one he was currently in. This clearly wasn't her first time though for she seemed to know quite a bit about being held prisoner. "What, so we're basically just a bunch of lab rats?" As if they hadn't been treated poorly enough. Jay was not even thinking in terms of being a mutant, but rather, his culture. Now this was just the cherry on top wasn't it.
He was getting increasingly annoyed, and knew it was only going to be a matter of time before he kicked or punched the wall again... which would have the same result. Yeah. That's right. He knew things. What was it that Einstein said? Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. There was no way in hell he was going crazy in here! So instead, he sat on the ground, letting out a sound of annoyance at this whole damn thing. "Yeah," he said flatly. They knew his name. Not his last name but his first one. "They know yours?" He asked, not sure if he even cared but he had a feeling that if he was going to get out of here, it was going to be with her help and knowledge of this situation.

He sat down, which was a good thing. It meant he wasn't going to start pacing and get angry again. Lana let go of his emotions to better foucse on the human's. "They have a name." She explained, "Darllit." Because she was little, and had a bit of a dark side when it came to staying alive. She would enjoy making the humans feel the fear everyone felt once she was out. "It's my mutant name, not my birth name."
There was a time when she had moved past the human part of her, but of late she had come to see both sides. While she wasn't willing to risk her life to fight for freedom, she wasn't willing to give up her own and just let the humans win. She was in this for herself, and as long as she was doing alright then the others could be the warriors and self made heroes. Her voice grew lower, "There are seven of them." The humans. "And four of us in here right now." She could feel the emotions of everyone so she knew how many. She couldn't see them, the humans but she felt them. Four of them were eager, the other three held more of a nervous readiness or anticipation. "Four doctors and the other three are going to be men who will subdue us."

Mutant name. They had mutant names? That was... weird. Though he couldn't help but think that if he was to have a mutant name, what would it be? Before thinking too much on it, she went on to explain how many of them there were. How many kidnappers, and how many mutants. He didn't care about the numbers or the odds. He knew how he could get out of here and all he needed was an open door. "Is that your power, some sort of x-ray vision thing that can make you see through walls?" He was being sarcastic but he also knew that he may not be too far off... after all, he could walk through walls so seeing through walls wasn't too far fetched.
"Look, I don't care about how many and which many and what everyone here can do." He was not a strategist. He didn't need to know all this crap. "Just tell me when they're coming so I can be ready for them." So that the second the door opened, he could get out of this place and make sure it never happened again. How? He had no idea. But he was dealing with one thing at a time.

"Nah," She almost laughed at how wrong he was, "Not even close." Her eyes drifted over him and she resorted to an old habit of making up for her short height and lack of protection by making the others feel uncomfortable, "If I did then I could right past them pants of yours, and at least the view might be better."
The emotions changed and she could feel the men getting ready. They'd come for them soon. If only to make sure they were in their cages for the night--was it night? Or day? "And you should care. What you gonna do? Walk right out the front door?" It was said with her only paying half attention, as she was trying to tell what was happening.

He found himself smirking at her words, finally finding some sense of normalcy in a very abnormal situation. It sounded as if it was just two people talking, rather than two mutants who were locked in a cell. He turned his head to look at her, realizing that he hadn't even taken in her appearance. When he did, he cocked his head to the side a little, seeing what he could through the bars, letting his gaze linger over her from top to bottom. Lucky for him, she looked pretty good. Well, perhaps more than pretty good. So he decided to play along.
"Might be?" He questioned. "Trust me sweetheart, the view would be a hell of a lot better." Clearly, letting his cocky side shine through a little. "Too bad you gotta rely on x-ray vision for that," he added in further teasing. She then questioned whether he was just going to walk right out the front door. How right she was, perhaps without even knowing it. "Damn straight," he told her bluntly. "Why, how do you plan on getting out of here?"

Instead of feeling awkward he countered her words, telling her the view would be better but that she'd never know until she got the extra sight needed to see past his clothing. Touche. He went on to ask how she planned to get out, "Oh I imagine their will be a bloody lot of running involved."
Down halls, past men, making them feel just the right things to distract them from getting their grubby hands on her. "But uh, good luck with your walking. I'd like to see that." Her tone made it clear she doubted he would be walking anywhere. "Step one, tight pants, is how do you plan get out of your cage?" She knew how she'd get out, but stopping to aid others wasn't high on her list--not to say she wouldn't if she had a chance, but just that she'd make sure she could get out first. "They seem very intent on keeping you in."
