Magda had found some people like her, Gypsies, not far from the city that her and Erik were currently in. She arrived a few hours after breakfast, and had spent the time talking with some of the women, trading for herbs, and some spices! When it was time to leave she bid the children happy playing and good day to the women--many of which had told her stories of their group's mad woman.
Magda was superstitious enough to know to avoid the mad, but understood why they said they kept her safe and well. It was also the reason she veered closer tot he tent and waited an appropriate distance for the daughter to emerge. Because the daughter was going to the city to work, so Magda and her could share the walk. Looking up when the girl came out, Magda smiled, then paused seemed to recognize her, but smiled again. "Didikai?" Magda spoke the word for 'my friend' but then knowing that they spoke mostly separate languages switched to the language of the gadjos, "I know your face."

Aurelia had been in the tent, gathering her belongings. She would properly dress in her hotel room for this evening's performance as she did not often come here dressed like a white woman; dressed like someone outside of her people's culture. She was forced to for the sake of making money, but here, she was free to be herself and wear whatever she liked. Throwing a couple of things in her bag, she lifted the strap to her shoulder and stepped out from the tent. The first thing she noticed was a woman. One with familiar features, though it had been years. It was not a face Aurelia would ever forget.
She stared in surprise for a moment before her lips broke into a bright smile. She hurried toward the woman and instantly wrapped her arms around her, dropping her pack to the ground, in a big hug. "Magda!" She exclaimed excitedly. She had not seen her in so long, yet the two of them had shared a traumatic experience in their life, Magda more than Aurelia as she had been there longer than her in the camps. It was afterwards that they had bonded and formed somewhat of a friendship. When the excitement finally subsided enough to no longer be hugging her. "It has been so long! How are you? Where are you coming from?" So many questions, and the thrill over finding another that had been part of their group so many years ago was so strong in Aurelia's heart.

Magda stepped forward and embraced her friend, hugging her tightly toward her and feeling a burst of happiness at seeing her again. When she had left her people, Aurelia had been one of the ones she had been sad to leave. It had not left her from following her heart however, and leaving. Just made the goodbye harder. "Aurelia!"
Pulling from the hug just enough to look at her face, Magda laughed, just glad to see her. Nothing else mattered right now. "It has been too many years! I have thought of you often in them!" Her eyes looked over her friend's face, and was pleased to see that she looked well. Not like so many did with how they still struggled. Hungry, sick. So many of them were dying even with the war over. No, Aurelia looked well.
"I am good! I hope you are as well! I was about to walk back tot he city, and came looking for you. To see if you wished to walk back with me!" However her people had not used her name, and it left Magda wondering about how her mother was. Perhaps her mother did not survive the war with her mind whole? "I would love to catch up with you, if you are of mind to journey with me."
