Personality
.:Personality:. Zrott received a very disciplined, stringent, and unstable education. Anxiety and fear are the leading emotions of the young indian. When living in the forest of Bayanar, it allowed him to be aware of dangers around him, and get out of it. But it also leads him to believe that people are not reliable, that they are ill-intentionned and that they will always find an opportunity to exploit his flaws for their benefit. This suspicion and distrust are also caused by his preceptor's murder.
As, due to his distrust, his interpersonal exchanges are self-focused, others either exist to meet his needs or do not exist at all. It leads Zrott to become hypersensitive to any insult, real or imaginary, becoming aggressive and violent.
For all this reasons, the young indian shows little interest for social relations. Cold and indifferent, he meets difficulty expressing his feelings in a meaningful way. Involving himself in solitary activities, he lives disconnected from the world.
.:Powers/Abilities:.
Fog of sleep : The fog generated by a low frequence vocal sound (440 Hz) put people and animal into sleep. The duration of the sleep depends on the constitution of the living creature and on the density of the fog.
Energy absorption & channeling : Zrott can absorb kinetic energy created by physical impacts on any part of his body, such as punches and kicks, weaponry such as swords, bullets and hammers or even explosions. He then can channel it to make his skin hard as an armor, protecting him from further injuries.
Enhanced vision : Zrott can see clearly from far distances, even in the dark. At a nearer distance, he can see great details, like predatory birds, thanks to binocular coordination.
.:Weaknesses:. Zrott knows no fear, except ghosts and fire weapons. He dislikes the noise and the smell of the towns, the hypocrisy of human beings and extreme cold.
History
.:Birthplace:. state of Chhattisgarh, district of Bastar, India .:Family:. Unknown .:Occupation:. Runaway .:Current Location of Residence:. On the run .:History:. Born of unknown parents, the young Zrott was bred by a wolf pack in the forest of Bayanar, state of Chhattisgarh. But at the age of 5, a wildfire separated him from the pack.
The young child remained hidden in a tree for two days before an old potionist found him, and decided to keep him as his pupil. Not only did he teach the young boy Chhattisgarhi and hindi languages, as well as hunting, fishing and collecting medicinal herbs, but he initiate him to the mysteries of the terrifying goddess Kali. One night, he tattoed on the boy's chest a picture of the goddess, so that she may give him protection.
And protection he has, the day a group of armed political activists, called the naxalists, found them and shot them at sight. Both were deadly wounded. But the potionist, before he died, made the 8 year old Zrott him drink a strange potion, which he has been keeping for years. According to an ancient tradition, the goddess Kali tought it to a monk, and the recipe was verbally transmitted for centuries. Not only was it difficult to understand, due to the changes in the language during centuries, but the potion itself was difficult to prepare, as some components were so rare they require years of research. Besides that, the potion was so unstable that it caused either instant death or permanent mutation. But Zrott was lucky : not only the potion made him survive his wounds, but it developped strange powers.
The child spent the six next months living in the forest on his own. First, he honored his preceptor's memory, by cremating his body but kept his knife with an ivory handle, on which is carved Yama, the God ruling the Kingdom of the Dead. But Vengeance was his obsession. Because of his developped sight, and as the sun was dazzling him during the day, he could only go out at night. But his nights were spent hunting the men who killed his mentor. On the night he found their campsite, he poured a poison in their water and stayed hidden until the sun rises. Protecting himself from the sun, he was unable to see them, but heard their cry of agony. Remaining hidden the whole day, he only discovered their dead bodies the following night. After that, the word started spreading among the neighbouring villages that he was a vampire, feeding from the blood of animals and that no weapon could shot him down. And local authorities promised a high reward for anyone who would capture him.
Norman Mc Call, the american director of a travelling circus, heard about this little boy villagers called Sikari, which, in hindi, means "the hunter", who moved and roared like an animal. He discreetly watched the little boy during several nights, thanks to a pair of infrared binoculars. He rapidly understood that such a boy would become an unavoidable attraction, and decided to capture him. The run lasted the whole night. With his abilities and his determination, Zrott gave Mc Call and his guy riding motorbikes and shooting him with hypodermics syringes hell. But the circus Director made him run the whole night, and waited until the morning sun dazzled him. Catching him exhausted and blinded by the full daylight was a child's game.
Showed to people locked in a cage as "the Indian human animal", Zrott was whipped and mistreated, as not only did he threaten and even attack the circus' personnel, but he unsuccessfully tried to escape several times. He spent some nights howling like the wolves he used to grow up with, which costed him some extra whipping. Hardly dressed, beaten and poorly fed, suffering from the cold, he would have died in the circus, without the help of a strange woman with dark skin and not less than four arms. As she reminded him of the tattoo of his patron Goddess, he called her Kali, and she never deceived him or tell him anything about who she really was : a Portuguese burglar named Anna, endowed with psychic powers, along with levitation and invisibility.
Taking the opportunity of a night in New York, one year after Zrott's capture, both escaped from the circus. The so-called Kali lead Zrott to the Xavier Institute for Gifted Youngster and left him, promising him she would come to pick him up when some things would be arranged.

Introduction : leaving the circus behind
The night was cold and rain was pouring over this town they called New York. Dark clouds were hiding the stars and the moon. The circus caravans under the authority of Norman McCall were parked side by side in the place negociated with the mayor.
In one of them, a young indian child was lying on his bed, his arms gripping his knees against his chest, shivering with cold while his teeth were chattering. Not that the caravans were not correctly heated, but for a boy born and bred in the state of Chhattisgarh, north-east india, staying in New York was like living in a fridge.
Suddenly, the sound of a forced lock roused him from his condition. Who the hell was it ? And what was it for ? The young indian was not in the mood for riddles. Clenching his fists, he decided that, tonight, he was not in the mood for criticism or even punishment. Whoever he was, he'd better get ready for action.
The caravan's door opened on blue face, frowning eyebrow. The only friendly face he met since he joined the circus. Or since he was captured in the forest of Bayanar and sold to the circus. The only soft voice he heard, while the other yelled at him order, when not whipping him. The only hands that cured the scars left by the whip. What was she doing here at this time ?
Handing him a dark rain jacket, the blue woman whispered : "Get up, put this on and follow me. "
"Kali, where do we go ?" asked the young indian rather surprised.
"To a place where people will treat you well. Hurry up !" the woman answered.
A bit surprised, the child from Chhattisgarh put his raincoat on and followed the blue woman.
Outside, the rain has stopped falling, and the cold weather made him wonder if the idea was so brilliant.
"It will not last" the so-called Kali said, quickly looking at the sky. "We have to be quick. Honey, can you have a look and tell me if everything is safe ? I can't see my own feet."
She knew what the kid was able to see, even through the darkest night.
Zrott turned his head around. His eyes of a Rishi, like Kali used to call it, were able to see in this night as if it was full daylight, except the color. And what he saw was not particularly promising :
"At 1500 feet, in front of the circus entrance are Arnie and Ralph smoking a cigarette. And on my very left is Donna's dog sleeping, who will wake up if he hears something.
- Close your eyes and take my hand and, honey. Everything will be allright" Kali answered.
Zrott obeyed and took Kali's hand. He felt his feet off the ground. Like him, she had special abilities, among which levitation. Although his eyes were closed, he guessed that they both became invisible. A few minutes later, his feet touched the ground. Opening his eyes, he saw they both were hidden behind a haystack, covered by a plastic tarp. Arnie and Ralph were one meter ahead of him. Just one meter, and liberty would be theirs.
Kali pointed her index at him, then at the two men, and the young indian knew what to do : invoke the Shiva's fog.
"Om, Namah Shivaya" whispered Zrott. Meanwhile, Kali imitated the sound of the wind blowing. Replicating noises was one of her talents, the other being burglary. The two men stopped smoking, and looked around them. Closinf his eyes again, Zrott concentrated on the rising of the fog. It was important for both of them, as Arnie was the one able to detect special abilities like his and Kali's. The two men were soon wrapped up in fog.
"Great, honey" Kali whispered. "They are asleep now. Time to go."
Hand in hand, the woman and the boy left the circus.
