Since coming to the states a few weeks ago, Lorna had learned a lot. None of it from the school she was sent here to attend, as she had taken the money meant for that and was currently living it off it. It was being to run out. She had spent most of i on things she had never had before. Nice clothing, and someplace to stay that let her make others at her beck and call. Lorna enjoyed that after years of living under her uncle's thumb. Now she was thumb that others were under, and she didn't even have to use her powers to do it. In fact she had managed to hide them and her green hair thus far.
Taking her bag of things, she slipped out the back of the rich digs and began walking down the street to find and ride out of here. She needed to move on before the hotel realized that she had no intention of giving them what little money she had left to pay for something she couldn't keep. Not that she wanted to keep it. Lorna was used to not feeling at home anywhere, or attached to anything. She hadn't belonged in her uncle's home and when her aunt had died after Lorna's powers reacted she had left the only place that she had known. Now she was here, alone, and planning to find something with meaning. She didn't have a clue what the hell that was.

Alias: The Hunter Occupation: Bounty Hunter Abilities: Mutant Detection & Telekinesis
| Chayse was waiting outside the building for his target. A mutant. One with the ability to teleport. Which was why Chayse had to devise a plan of capturing him that involved heavy sedation. He couldn't risk the idiot teleporting out of his truck. He was determined to get the rest of his money. He could feel the mutant inside, and it was only a matter of time before he was out the door. Each step he took toward it, Chayse's detection of him grew stronger and stronger, and he knew that there was no way in hell he was mistaken. This would work perfectly. The street was isolated enough that Chayse would drug him, put him in the passenger's seat of his car so to any onlooker, he would just look like a friend helping out his buddy.
And Chayse was prepared. In between his knuckles, in the palm of his hand, he had a needle filled with a strong liquid sedative. It was a good thing his large size gave him large hands to conceal such a weapon. He was just casually standing against the wall, knowing it was just a few more steps. 3... 2... 1... Chayse turned to face the door the second the mutant stepped out and standing directly in front of him, hardly an inch between them, Chayse pushed the injection into the mutant's arm, right into his veins. The close proximity disallowed anyone from seeing what had happened. It took immediate effect, causing the mutant to suddenly stop, his body starting to grow limp. Unfortunately what Chayse did not expect was the uncontrolled effects of his mutation from the sedative.
As an affect of the heavy sedation, the mutant teleported from right in front of Chayse, to behind him. And that was not all. The mutant just so happened to teleport right in front of someone... who his now limp body fell on top of. Son of a bitch! Now this was really turning into a party because that woman that the idiotic teleporter just happened to fall on top of... also just happened to be a mutant. And from what Chayse was detecting, a rather powerful one at that. Chayse quickly assessed the mutant's powers, and decided that he didn't need to distance himself from her. He just needed to pick up the mutant, toss him in his truck which wasn't far from here, deliver him to his client, get paid and then move on to the next job. He turned to where he fell on the girl, grabbing him by the back of the shirt and pulling him up off of her, wordlessly. He didn't owe her an explanation unless she asked. And he couldn't care less if she was hurt by the guy falling on her.

Lorna was there, walking alone and minding her own business (which was trying to get out of town unnoticed) when out of no where this mutant appeared about at her head and fell down on her! Bastard! Lorna fell back, and just managed to use her powers to keep the dead weight from crushing her--using the gravitational adjustment to make him light enough that she could just push him away. "Get off me you little shit," She growled. For a second afterwards she thought her powers were going off, as the guy lifted up and away. THEN she saw it was just some grumpy giant who was hauling him up.
It didn't take long to figure out what was happening here. A dead or 'not awake' mutants, and some over sized thug--an open truck. Lorna pushed to her feet and brushed off her pants, not caring that the thug was taking a mutant hostage or selling him or whatever. Survival of the fittest, let the thus weed out the weak. "Look you idiot, the next time you want to toss an idiot around you better make sure I'm not in the way, or the next time I am going to toss back." Shooting him a glare. "And I don't think you are going to keep up." He was big, but she was bad. Oh that sounded good! She was so saying that! "Cause you might be big, but I'm bad." Ok that sounded better in her head. "What are you doing with him anyway?" Then she got an idea, "I vote I get half of whatever you getting--" She was assuming he was selling him and not just getting a hostage, "--Or I start to scream kidnapper, and wait to see which mob gets you first."

| My my. She had quite the mouth on her. Feisty little thing. Then again, everyone was little to him. She was nothing special. He just stared at her, letting her get it all out of her system. Did she just call him an idiot? He ended up just smirking and scoffing at her 'threats'. Pretty hilarious coming from someone half his size, and that was a generous comparison. "What are ya gonna do?" He asked, stepping in front of her, moving closer so he was directly in front of her. So that he could purposely look down at her. "You think you can take me on?" He questioned rhetorically. "You're way out of your league, little girl. So why don't ya shoo right out of here before I flick you away like a damn mosquito. You're sure as hell annoying like one." Blah blah. Buzz buzz. Same thing.
"And it ain't your damn business. Get on out of here. Bye." With that, he abruptly turned around, purposely giving her a little shove while doing so. Despite her powers, he wasn't taking her seriously. How could he. It took more than this to intimidate him. He moved to his truck and tossed the still breathing body inside. "By the way, you even try to scream kidnapper, I'll give you somethin' else to really scream about." Meaning, he wasn't threatened by her. Bring it on.
