'Cause with the all that has happenedLife should have been happy for Magda, but she'd learned that life wasn't always about only good times. Sometimes there was harder time. Still, this one had come out of no where. She'd married Erik a few months ago. She had only discovered she was going to give him a baby. Life had never felt so wonderful!
Only, today she was given a reminder about the risks of helping mutants--even if it wouldn't stop her from helping again. Some of her fellow humans had discovered her hidden room that was used to keep mutants safe and pulled to the back of her shop to 'encourage her' from keeping helping. That was how Pyro found her. The bruises and blood on her face and body, and hands held tight over her belly. She wasn't sure what to expect from him, but she needed his help. She also didn't want Erik to see her like this. She knew what he would do, and she didn't want that for him. "Help me up, please." She didn't want him to see what had happened to her until she could get cleaned up. He would blame himself.
I think that we both know the way that the story ends |
